honestly ramona, i have to say... a lot of the housewives talk about how they will be upfront and say what's on their mind, and not talk behind people's backs..and you REALLY follow through with it!! you may be very direct and no nonsense but it is good to be this way because those who love you will appreciate it, and those who don't, dont have to be your friend. it is rare to have a friend where you can count on their honesty.

i agree with you that you want to stay out of the lu ann/ mario thing...it doesn't have anything to do with you, and you cant make him apologize anyway...and why would a forced apology make it better, when she will probably continue to hold a grudge/gossip? keep dancing and having fun with your husband and lovely daughter...and keep smiling and be happy!! :)

Ramona, I just love you and your personality and if I were you I would let all the comments that come from your fellow housewives just pass through you. This world is made up of individuals and that is what makes life more interesting. If you don't define who you are in life then others will define it for you. You are a strong personality and I know at times it is to hide the hurt inside of what has happened to you in the past. I also preached to my daughters to be very independent and never to depend on someone else for your happiness. Be proud of your uniqueness and don't let others change you. Ok so i'm from the south so "manners" are key, obviously in certain "circles" that is not the case. I have always been told that good manners are doing what makes others feel comfortable, therefore ramona if you are always creating a scene and making things centered around you it is not good manners. Reflecting on season one with the Luca Luca show you hated how "rude" jill was. Yet you seem to have no issue pointing out others flaws. How did you feel at that hamptons party in season one when mario was no wearing his wedding ring and someone you knew made a backhanded comment about well " i'm sure theres a reason hes tryin to not be seen as her husband" or something. Mario making a comment about someones pain is just not cool, maybe at home to you ok. But in public not cool, i think Luann had every right to be hurt. There is a difference in being mad and being hurt.

Hi Ramona, just love the hair!! You look great! The "new" you seems to have really let things go, I love it! You've always been one to have fun when with friends and I don't blame you on not wanting to join in on the BS that comes with some of the women. I think you're a great role model for Avery. However, I do think it would have been nice that Mario just suck it up and tell LuAnn he's sorry if that's what it takes to shut em up. It's only words.... it's petty but some people just cannot get over things, especially those set on having the public see them as one way when they are truly another... Okay, so first let me start off that yes while LuAnn drives me crazy because of her better-than-all attitude and the fact that she reminds me of a child when someone is rude to her, I do have to say that Mario's comment was uncalled for, however, technically she was "countless" because the "count" was not there, but nonetheless a little rude. Let's be honest here, Luann is countless to the show and Jill is a 5 years old, who has worse manner than Alex's sons when comes to open her mouth, nothing important comes out of her mouth. In the other hand I love to watch you and Alex, good job Ramona!

I believe that of all the housewives LuAnn is the most insincere. I believe that she is an opportunist and is using Jill. As I watched the first seasons she definatley placed herself " above" the rest of the cast. Now that she is divorced and "disgraced" are we to believe that she is rooting Jill???....no she is just selfserving.
Whatever happened between Jill and Bethany is their buisness....why is LuAnn involved...she is a snake!!!!

Oh my God! Jill is teenager growing old. Ramona, stay the way you are, there is nothing wrong with you.

*Why can't Mario "be the bigger person" and apologize? You promote yourselves as Christians, even selling your "True Faith" jewelry line, so shouldn't you be asking yourselves what's the Christian thing to do?
*Why do you seem okay with Kelly being in Playboy, saying things like it wouldn't be appropriate for you, but you were so harsh on Alex's nude (and reportedly private) pics? What about Bethenny posing for PETA?

The reason why Luann is so concerned about how she looks is because she's shallow. People who rely on their looks usually don't have much to offer in character or personality. If you'll notice, she has yet to say anything meaningful, or profound, and she lacks the wisdom most women have at her age. She's all about appearances. Especially her own.

I think Luann and Jill are both unhappy so they cause drama with everyone else to feel good about themselves. I think they're both jealous of your jewelry line as well as Bethenny's successful book. It's funny how they keep attacking the happy housewives. Something to think about. Alex will be next.

I totally agree with everything you said about Kelly's nude photos and why you wouldn't do it. And they call you crazy? Interesting. I personally think it's disgraceful and shows a lack of modesty, and morals, and its very irresponsible for someone who has kids. But, when you're talking about a person who supports PETA and still wears furs you'll never understand how they rationalize the things they do.

Lastly, Luann is seeking attention and sympathy from anyone she can get it from. She shouldn't have come to you about something Mario said, and after you apologized it should have been over. You'd think she was more concerned about healing from her divorce than feuding over a stupid comment.

Ramona, you have always been my favorite. I too tend to say the truth and not consider how I am saying it...I have tried to work on it, but at the end of the day, the truth is the truth. Ignore these people who believe you should insist that Mario apologize to LuAnn...LuAnn, should do what you suggested on the boat, take it to him. She didn't when she saw him before shooting and she didnt bring it up when you invited her to the boat. She did it, where she thought it would be most advantageous, during shooting the new season. I am sure, if she had approached Mario and said that his comment was hurtful and that she didn't understand why he felt the need to say it or find it to be funny??? Let him handle his own business. If he doesn't apologize then decline your boat invite and explain to you as why...SHE chose to hold a lot of stuff until the camera's came on and what she is finding playing old battles in front of that camera can be dangerous. ie., the Bethenny confrontation and Jill putting you on speaker without letting you know that she had LuAnn on the speaker...they both got an earful that they didn't want out there when they did. How we all wish you had spoken to Kelly before Jill had an opportunity to. Especially in the way you've stated in your blog above about Kelly and her photo shoot. I think she may have reconsidered. Jill leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
