Season 2
Season 1
When I read my vows to Avery before the ceremony she said to me, "Mom, you will not be able to say your vows, you'll start crying." So I told her if that happened she would have to take over and read from my note cards. Well I did get teary eyed, but I was was able to get through it. You didn't get to see most of Mario's vows to me. He was so emotional and what he said was so touching to me and to everyone else in the room. There was hardly a dry eye. Go to Mario's blog to read his vows, I hoped he posted it.

sissy ramona : love , love love you you and your family a so great. I like that you tell the true so go for it girl
Ramona, you have shown us what a wonderful woman you are. You are loyal, loving, joyful. My love to you and Mario; your wedding was a high point of the series. Your kindness and generosity is infectious. Thank you for daring to be vulnerable and loving.
Ramona, I just want to say your daughter Avery is very pretty and I think she has alot of class for as young as she is. You should be proud.
What can I say....SO BEAUTIFUL. Very over the top but Im poor (and a smidge jealous) but so very beautiful! The part that made me cry the MOST was the conversation in front of the mirror with Avery. YOU CANT BUY THAT! I want to say that to my beautiful daughter...it will happen...but I SO GOT THAT MOMENT and you are so lucky to have it on film! LOVE IT and really liking you since this season. Cheers to RENEWAL! Hugs! What a beautiful bride you are!
RAMONA -
I've really come to enjoy you this season.
You certainly are a "Tru-Friend" to your friends & you display your loyalty through your actions.
Not to mention - You're fun & vivacious.
.
This was by far my favorite episode simply because of all the positive energy. I want to have a marriage like yours one day. I could see the love in Mario's eyes and it made me so jealous. I think you are so beautiful Ramona. I feel like you have renewed yourself in so many ways and your are one of my favorites from all seasons of the housewives. Oh, and your daughter looked so amazing at your wedding and so did you! I wish you and your family all the best. And i am so happy to see you become so close to Alex and Bethenny. I hope you continue on the path of being so positive and uplifting.
Throughout the last couple of episodes, I've heard you say that you were married to Mario 16, 17, and now 18 years. I'm confused. Which is it? When were these episodes taped?
Ramona, I just want to say I love you! You are very blunt and sometimes people cant handle that; however, I think it is amazing to see what an amazing friend, wife, and mother you are! Congratz!! Xoxoxo
I've always said about you, "I can tell she has a good heart" and seeing Mario say his vows to you tonight, it's obvious he loves you so much and appreciates all the sunshine you bring to his life. I'm very happy for you and as Mario said "may God continue to bless your marriage and family!" All the best to you! Sara
RAMONA YOU DID RENEW YOURSELF THIS SEASON!!! YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL!!!AND HAPPY AND YOUR DAUGHTER HAS BLOOM, SHE IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY!!! GOOD LUCK AND IS "TURTLE TIME" GOD BLESS YOU....
Just wanted to say your renewal of vows was beautiful! Looks like The Pierre is a place to put on the places to go before I die list :-) Best wishes and hopes that you and Mario has another 18 (and hopefully more) blissfully married years together.
Ramona,
I liked you least in the beginning of this series. Then in the last two...I gained tremendous respect for you. You really seem to have done some insightful thinking about not being judgemental. You look great for 52 or 53 (I'm not sure exact number). But honey....you look nothing like Cameron Diaz. She has blue eyes, dark tan skin all the time and just have a very different look. You don't have to look like a celebrity....you are one. Maybe not Cameron Diaz but do you really want to be an actress that has never walked down the isle and goes through men like candy. You don't need to be anyone but Romana....the one we have seen in the past few episodes. I hope the reunion show does shed you in bad light.
i just have to say you raised a very beautiful smart daughter. you must be a very good mom to her. i really grew to like you this season ,.,,, your crazy at times but at times very touching.
Ramona, you have sooo grown on me I can't believe it. I just LOVE YOU. The renewal was wonderful. I'm so glad also that you, Bethenny, Alex and Sonja are good friends; stay that way. I hope this makes it on the blog because bravo has a problem with putting my comments on. Mario and you are a great couple I'm hoping for ever lasting. God Bless!
Im amazed that you, the most dramatic, trouble maker is trying to counsel Jill on how to behave with other people. Im surprised the negative attention shifted from you to Jill this season. Jill doesnt deserve that. You are so hypocritical..... talking behind everyons back and then when you see them one on one, you act like you are friends with them.
I like you a lot more this season! You are my fav..seem clear headed about drama around you & more empathetic/down to earth than before...proud of you!
I have always understood why you wanted to renew now - rather than wait until a milestone year. It became clear when you talked about that rapprochement with your father before his death and facing the demons of your childhood. Since that happened, you have been focusing on this personal journey of renewal and rediscovery. It's very "you" that this is precipitated by life events and not orchestrated by arbitrary milestones. You are in renewal because of life changes and the resolution of childhood traumas - not bound to other timelines that are less significant. One of the delightful characteristics of your personality is your spontaneity. You are not hidebound by convention
You were absolutely Beautiful at your Wedding! I think You are a very well Grounded Person, Wife and Mother. I just wanted to express that I think You have the most Wonderful Daughter. As the mother of a "preteen" myself. Every time I see your daughter I always say to myself. That I think you and your husband have done a Fantastic job. She's so Grounded and Smart and she's such a good girl! You two are both Wonderful people and parents and Enjoy the next 17+ years! You have a Fantastic Family and its always such a Joy to Watch!
What a beautiful renewal ceromony! You looked beautiful.Avery and you side by side was also beautiful.I was crying listening to both of you speak your vows. You have become one of my fav,RHONY!May you have good health, happiness and peace of mind!!Kathi, long Island NY
ramona, first congratulations on the renewal ceremony. u r truly blessed to be able to have that core connection with the love of your life. u have blossomed so much this season and it shows. u r becoming a fast favorite for me right along with bethenny.(luv her). u truly come across as very real and genuine. that is something u can't fake. when it translates, people respond to it just as i am....and i just want to say, BRAVO! (no pun intended). can't wait for the next season!
big fan
Ro, you were absolutley gorgeous at the ceremony ... you glowed like an angel. Your vows were beautiful, too. It was very touching and wonderful to watch. Thank goodness the season was able to end on such a lovely note. Best wishes to you and your family.
Ramona -- although most people would question the need to renew your vows now and not at a real milestone like 20 or 25, the words you said to each other were really heartfelt and genuine. You looked great, Avery looked beautiful and Mario was one handsome groom.
Ramona, I have not always been your biggest fan. That does not mean that I did not like you. I just felt that your words, although truthful, were hurtful and usually unnecessary. Sometimes it is just best to keep ones' mouth closed. However, I believe I have come to know and perhaps understand the reason you seemingly have no filter. This season once you spoke more openly about your father and the fact that he was abusive, I think your "lack of filter" stems from that. You likely spent your entire childhood and maybe even perhaps young adult life not ever being able to speak your mind/feelings without having to fear your father. Therefore, now that you no longer have to worry about that, you tell it like it is. But again, sometimes it is just best to say nothing at all. I do believe you are making attempts at improving, and hopefully that continues. Once your "filter" is fully developed/matured, I believe your fan base will rapidly increase in volume because you will be more likable and do have so much to offer. Congratulations to you and Mario on 18 years of marriage. Your ceremony was beautiful and touching. You do have a beautiful family.
All the best and continued success with your business, marriage and personal life!
Ramona, You've done good this season. Once in a while, you can have a sharp tongue, but for the most part, you were one of the good people this season. Keep up the good work. Congratulations on you renewal..You looked lovely..
Ramona, your ceremony was beautiful. Mario looked gorgeous too!!! Congratulations on your life. You've come a long way baby.
Ramona, you looked beautiful!! As did Avery. The ceremony was very nice. I'm sorry we didn't get to see all of Mario's vows. The part we did see was so sweet. You are a lucky girl!!
Re: the trip!! I hope you enjoyed some of it. Kelly seemed to pretty much ruin it for everyone. Do you have any pull with this show? If so, can we please drop Kelly?
Do not let anyone tell you that 17 years of marriage is not an accomplishment in which to celebrate and be proud of! I have been married for that long and can tell you that it is not only in NYC that it is rare. Notice that the only ones who gave you grief about it were the ones who have not been able to have what you have- a long, stable, healthy relationship. They are jealous or just sad. Keep on renewing yourself! It was fun to see you evolve even in the patience you showed toward Jill and Kelly- being able to diffuse situations not by faking it but by listening and caring.
The ceremony was wonderful to see and very touching. I thought Avery looked stunning and I could tell how happy she was to be there.
It was a wild season, but I was impressed with how you were truly able to both forgive and ask forgiveness. Important lessons for all of us to learn.
Looking forward to seeing you next season.
Ramona, First of all, your vows were beautiful! I think you have come such a long way since I first started watching the show. I really think you should be proud of yourself because you have become such a great friend to everyone and have showed people that you can take a situation and look at all sides before speaking your opinions. You have really become one of my favorites!
Ramona, you are so refreshing and a joy to watch on the show this season. I have to admit last season I thought you were a little coco for coco puffs lol:) Let CRAZY Kelly have that job! This year you really have been the sane one on the show and have truly renewed everything in your life. I am so happy for you and Mario. You looked soooooooooo Beautiful that night and the dress was made for you. I'm also glad that you have become friends with Alex and Bethenny. I can't wait to watch the reunion show. I know you and Jill have been friends for along time but people change and sometime not always good so, keep an eye out for her. I wish you and Mario many more years of happiness and the best things in life to come to Avery.GOD Bless, Lisa from Texas
An 18yr marriage and a beautiful successful daughter is something to celebrate! Having lost my father just over a year ago I understand the need to celebrate life, love, family right now. Never wait until the world validates your timing. Enjoy your happy family and recognize them for the blessing that they are. And know the blessing that you are to them.
You were breathtaking. As was your lovely daughter. Mario looked so very happy. What a great day for you all. Anything over 10 years is something to celebrate.
You looked beautiful, Mario and Avery looked great too. Thank you for sharing that with the audience. 17 years was a milestone for you so forget people saying it was "random" or "for the show". I'm 3 years in and we don't think we are going to make it, but I know one day I'll have the man I'm meant to be married to. You were very gracious to Jill. See how she groveled to Bethenny but when she thought the camera's were not on disrespected Alex yet again. You have true friends in Sonya, Bethenny, and Alex. Jill is just longevity.
RAMONA YOU LOOKED BEAUTIFUL AND AVERY IS STUNNING. HOW SHE HAS GROWN UP. THE LOVE IN YOUR EYES WHEN YOU WERE TALKING TO MARIO GAVE ME A LUMP IN MY THROAT, AND HE WAS CO CUTE WHEN HE RECITED HIS VOWS. GOOD LUCK TO YOU BOTH AND STAY HAPPY FOR THE NEXT 50 YEARS. GOOD LUCK TO AVERY. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
I think you have definately grown up this season, I love that you are able to diffuse a situation now rather than instigate. Also, your renewal was beautiful and I believe no matter how many years you are happily married it is a big deal and should be celebrated. Also, I thought Mario looked so cute in his glasses, haha, he should wear them more!
Keep renewing, it works for you. Lovely renewal ceremony, I could see the love that you and Mario have for each other and how proud Avery is of both of you and vice versa.
I am also glad that you keep it real and give some good advice and can admit when you are wrong; it shows that you are a smart and confident women in all aspect of your life.
I wish you and your family all the best and may you be married and happy the rest of your days.
Beautiful, tears swelled in my eyes as Mario spoked his vowels to you. Regardless to what Kelly says, I truly feel that the vowels were sincere. The royal blue was very beautiful, and Avery and the pup looked good. May God bless you to see 17 more years with Mario. Good Luck
Ramona, Great ending for RHONY. You looked fabulous-Avery is beautiful-Mario,very handsome.I just read MArio's blog-all I can say is-even though we see a nutty Ramona -you really are a great woman!! Please, stay just the way you are.
Ramona you have come a long way this season. I am so glad you see whats really important in life, and thats family and friends. All the money in the world cant buy happiness if you dont have support of family and friends. JIll should learn from you and renew herself. I was so disappointed in her behavior this year, as well as the countess and their 4th grade ganging up on Bethany. Enjoy your summer...

Ramona,
Your ceremony was really beautiful. I have been happily married for 20 years, and I agree with you. In this day and age marriages that last are few and far between. I just wanted to tell you that this season I have noticed that you really have "renewed' everything in your life. You seem to be a softer and more peaceful person. You really tried to be diplomatic with all of the other ladies this season, so just know that at least one of your fans noticed!!!
RAMONA!!! You looked radiant, and Avery was stunning also! She is such a beautiful girl Ramona, both inside and out,(like her mother). You and Mario should be very proud!!! I cried like I was really there. Loved, loved, loved your vowes. Wow, what a wonderful night! Now, back to you, I am so proud of you this year, you seemed to have really have renewed yourself. You seem to have become a much better person all around. Especially a better friend. I wish you and yours many, many more years of happiness. YOU GO GIRL!! On another note, I was glad to see how both you and Bethanny handled/talked to Jill. Although I really think she is a good person at heart, she, (as Bethanny told her), really needs to own her own actions, and stop making excuses for her bad behavior. Maybe her getting away from the countless would help her tremendously..can't wait for the renunion show. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing because it sure looks good on you. All the best to you, Mario and Avery!!!

I wish Bravo would allow me to post something on everyone's blog but that must be a no-no. So, if I can only post on one blog, I wanted it to be yours. You have grown so much over the last three years. This year has been your best. You get it. It's not about who wins, not about what every one can do for us, not based on whether a person is 'behaving' the way we think is best, nor is it about only the good times...it's about love and acceptance, forgiveness and compassion and you get it!
Thank you for ending the season with the renewing of your vows. It was the best. I've been married to a great guy for 30 years, and I pray you have as many and more with your Mario.
Believe it or not, I've come to care for all of you housewives...God bless each of you!
