I've watched the episode on the boat a couple of times... and when LuAnn goes into her rampage about Mario insulting her (which I had to laugh at)... you do apologize. I heard it... it's very softly but you do say it. It's just before Jill comes and sits down and they both go after you, guns loaded. Honestly, I don't know how you tolerate them or why you'd want to socially surround yourself with the likes of those two. To me, they are like tweedle dee and tweedle dumb.

Ramona, keep telling it the way it is they can never accuse you of not speaking your mind and owning it when you're wrong.... It'[s a good quality to have.

I am glad you are seeing the good side to Alex & Simon. They are quirky, but in a good way. Alex is smart and fun, and just because she enjoys her husband's company and prefers it to back-stabbing women friends doesn't make her under his "control".
I wish Mario would have just apologized to LuAnn and gotten it over with. Right or wrong, it would have ended it and he would have been the bigger person. I was starting to like the new Mario this season, but he seems to be lapsing into his old ways.
I hope you and Mario keep pursuing your friendships with Simon and Alex. I think if you give them a chance you'll find they are truly good, genuine friends.

I meant to say that: your hair looks great, you look years younger. Also, you're in great shape and looked great in the bikini top and wrap. Now, if you could just bring yourself to leave the show and spend time, only with your real friends and family, maybe you could be happier. Also, you've got to stop saying, "at least I'm honest". That's no excuse for making cruel and insensitive comments. Stop giving your unsolicited opinions about others. You've told us how mean your father was; how are you so different.

You women are not friends; you're just all thrown together into this ridiculous show. The only 'housewife' who seems to be happy is Alex.

Ramona - I think LuAnn said to Alex and Simon to - stop by if they want after your party - We all know you are not best friends with Alex and Simon. To beg them to stay and not go to LuAnn's was weird. I'm sure Alex and Simon didnt think they would be spending the entire day at your home - they were being polite and stopping by because you invited them

The phone call from your husband to luann did get mixed up - He called luAnn to say lets talk if u come over/wasn't the direct apology it should have been. In fact it got twisted. Jill thought it was "Bring it on B*tch".

Also..If Jill was spending the weekend at LuAnn's - It would be very weird to leave and go to your house that day. Yes she went out the night before without her,but it wasnt the Labor Day hang out day.

To ask Alez and Simon to pick sides - That should have been real easy. You dont like them. renewel or not.

Ramona, Well, I didn't like you at all last season but, I have to admit that I like your new attitude. Personally, I think you are a little schizo but I commend you with the "new leaf" you are trying to turn. Good job!

Ramona you are my absolute favorite on ths show b/c you are very genuine about who you are and what you beleive. I love the fact that you and Alex are friends. She is so nice.

Ramona, I love you the most on the show. You are so inspirational. I think Jill was egging on LuAnn and they both attacked you on the boat. They couldn't stand to see you happy and looking great. They had to ruin your day. Next time don't react like you did. Just take a deep breath and hold your tongue. Don't take the bait. That's what they want. They know you have no filter. You blurt out whatever pops into your head. Jill is jealous of your body. You have a great body and you deserve to show it off. Don't listen to those bitches. Mario is adorable. Ramona, you have to stop screaming at people to get where you are coming from. You lose your message. You don't need to get others' approval or agreement. Just do what you think is right.
Mario is great and entertaining but he can cut like a knife too. The comment was rough. But LuAnn did get somewhat an apology -- he called her directly and, had she answered, he may well have offered an unequivocal apology. If I were LuAnn, I would have gone to the party and confronted him directly. This etiquette LuAnn "preaches" is false etiquette. Nothing beats truth and honesty delivered with an introduction of mutual respect and agreement, then let your feelings be heard. But never underestimate the power of an apology. If a person is offended by something you did, it doesn't matter whether it is right or wrong or you agree with their position, if they are offended then it is REAL and needs to be dealt with.

You definitely seem to be more down to earth, and better rounded emotionally so far this season. I hope it continues. I had a difficult time with you last season, so I'm happy to see the self improvement.

Ramona, so far I like you the best this season and I always have. You are a little crazy sometimes, but that just keeps things interesting. You have always been an intelligent, wise, savvy business woman and never an underdog. I think Jill is actually a little jealous of that.

I'm still loving you Ramona. I thought Jill and LuAnn ganging up on you on the yacht was crazy. Furthermore, how dare they literally demand that you get your husband to apologize. He's an adult you can't make him do anything he doesn't want to do. If they have a problem with it they should take it up with Mario and not you. Keep your head up!

Girls! Listen up. Are you friends or are you foe? Each of you wants what she wants, when she wants it. What does this have to do with friendship?
Friends don't leave the host(ess) of their party crying below the deck, while they continue without her.
Friends don't say "You look great!" (Jill) and turn to say "She is too old to wear a bikini." "She's cheap." (Jill referring to your taking out your HSN jewelry)? Maybe so. But is this a friend speaking?
Friends (& grown-ups)do not compete with dueling parties and expect their guests to leave one for the other.
All I'm seeing here is an entertaining exhibit of childish drama & self-serving indulgences. Its fun viewing, sometimes sad, & mostly amusing. But I feel for you.

I think it’s very courageous of you to talk about certain happenstances from your childhood on the show. It takes a strong person to be able to do that, much less go through it and then come to terms. I respect you for doing that.

I really hope you turn a new leaf. Goodluck with changing into another person. I dont think you can do that but I guess we will see next season.

It is odd that Jill and Luann suddenly HAD to see Alex and Simon, especially if what you say is true about Luann not wanting Simon in her house. (BTW, if you're trying to take the high road, don't gossip like that in your blog; it's hurtful;)) I do see a difference, tho, between Jill's going out with you alone one night and her attending a party with 3 other housewives but not Luann when she is staying at Luann's home. Your party was a housewives' affair; the other thing you and Jill went to was not. Try not to get so defensive and angry, since you end up saying things you shouldn't. Listen to others' perspectives calmly and don't take it as an attack all the time. You're too thin-skinned for someone who thinks of herself as a strong and confident woman!

I was shocked when LuAnn came on the yacht with Jill and jumped all over you about a comment Mario made. Why did she take it out on you? If she was so offended why did she accept your invitation. What did any of it have to do with Jill? I thought the whole thing was incredibly rude. Also, why is it such a huge ordeal.....so Mario made a snide comment....calling her countless..... Im glad to see that you realize that the things you said about Luann were out of line even if she wasn't listening, but u know it would be nice to think before you say them and not have to be horrified hearing them on tv.

Ramona, you seem like a lovely person, I don't know why you put yourself into this group, you surely don't need the money. In this episode you alluded to your father's anger, so I don't know why you make yourself so vulnerable to the hurtful torments of some of these comments. They are so catty.

Jill (who I like) says you have no business wearing a bikini?? no.2. Countess has issue with your husband. ok. but to ruin your party to satisfy her immediate need is childish. why don't you girls know these simple truths? At these levels of social society you'd think the girls could cherish friendships more. A friend supports. You look fabulous! No men are around. You're not showing off. You're not flirting with her husband. I just could not believe her sentiment. She ought to help you with how emotional you get in situations, instead. That's unbecoming to you & it would be an asset to get past it. Mario reminds me of my brother in law. I was the subject of his humor for years. Without my antics, he had no story. That should stop, finally. Now I'll play devil's advocate and say that Countess could lessen the blows to her by dropping 'the title' while here, in the states. Its her security blanket. Not easy to leave behind.
Your 'underdog' reference hurt. Rethink this. Why did you have such an urge within you to say that? Examine where that's coming from. You do have some issues. Are these acted for the sake of the program or are all of these dramatic scenes acurately so? I'd watch anyway. I relate to this cast of characters in the Hamptons. I've lived here for years.

Romona - I have to say that you are definitely the voice of reason this year. It's hard to say that but wow. I can't believe all those times that it didn't seem like you were making sense (not as bad as Kelly!!) you were really giving insight to what we are seeing behind the scenes. You seem to really paint a picture of what the cameras may not capture about the other housewives. The best example of this is the whole comment about Jill liking the underdog. Right on Ramona!! I alos thinkg the Countess was pretty rude to you regarding your party. Hopefully she'll get over her divorce and turn a new leaf.

A true friend would not put you on speaker phone without telling you. Jill feels like she needs to be the mommy all the time. She had to be there for Bethenny when she was down and now she has moved on to the dumb drag queen. How rude to invite people to her house when she knows that they are going to yours. Be strong Ramona. They should not take it out on you if they don't like what your husband says. They need to grow up.

Your view on whether Jill was wrong not to attend your party bcuz of Luann was completely off. Her (Jill) attending a party the night b4 without LuAnn was totally different then coming to your party. Jill was LuAnns houseguest so bcuz LuAnn was having a party/BBQ, THAT'S why it wasn't proper for her to attend yours. It would have been rude for her to leave to go to your party when LuAnn was having one @ the very house she's staying at. The night b4 party, I'm sure LuAnn wasn't having a party going on @ same time during that party & that is why it was o.k. for Jill to attend the night party w/you. See the difference now?

It's obvious that you're trying to better yourself, and kudos for that. However, you should have kept mum about Alex and Simon wanting to leave. It's never easy to be in the middle of an argument, and when Alex was being told to 'choose sides' in said argument (especially one as pointless as this one), I was thinking "What do you even say to that? Aren't these people supposed to be adults?" Alex was honest with you and you returned the favor by bullying her.

Man, whatever you have been doing, yoga, meditation, whatever to get you in this frame of mind, keep it up! You are allowed a little slip to blow up on the phone. Jill and LuAnn were trying to ruin your party and get something going with anyone who will take the bait. Alex may find that trying to stay neutral with this bunch will not work. Jill and LuAnn are hell-bent on not letting anyone stay neutral.
