This Genius Instagram Challenge Pits Housewives Against Runway Models

So, who wore it best?

2017 Trends To Last You All Through The Year

Everyone loves a good "who wore it best" challenge—even the most jaded, fashion-industry insiders. (They're just like us!) So, imagine our delight when we stumbled upon this Instagram challenge from Sies Marjan's creative director, Sander Lak.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

First, a quick word on Sies Marjan. The American luxury brand is still young—it debuted at New York Fashion Week just last Feburary. But it only took one presentation to get fashion fans hooked on its bold colors and whimsical aesthetic. And "hooked" is an understatement: "The entire industry is virtually pressed up against the glass windows of [Sies Marjan's] Flatiron District atelier, waiting to see what happens next," raved The Business Of Fashion

Well, here's what did happen next: The brand put on a Fall/Winter 2017 show that Vogue summed up with one, welcome word: ease. "The big takeaway idea in this afternoon’s show was clothing that had vaguely the look, and very much the je ne sais quoi attitude, of sheets or blankets spontaneously folded or draped about the body," said the magazine's review.

Now, to better show off those fluid, fabulous looks, Sander has enlisted the help of some of our friends. In his #whoworeitbest challenge, the designer shows split images. On one side, models strut pieces from the fall collection; on the other side, Housewives wear similar styles. Let's dig in, shall we?

First, here's Bethenny Frankel wearing a beachy shade of seafoam green. She's next to a Sies Marjan model wearing the same.

Then, Kim Richards faced off with a model for the golden "wore it best" title.

Next up, Adrienne Maloof and a model demonstrate how purple is done

So, who else is saying three for three 'wives? Keep your eyes peeled on Sies Marjan's Instagram for (hopefully!) more updates.
