This seaon was of RHONY was so disappointing!  Ramona and Sonja were horrible and almost hard to watch.  Aviva is just plain crazy.  LuAnn, Heather and Carole were fun to watch, but...this franchise may have run its course!

Ramona and Sonya have reached their expiration date. Ramona is not interesting and just down right mean and Sonya who was once fun and carefree seems more desperate and pathetic. Aviva is hard to watch and I agree that her drama is all made for tv. It seems like all the Housewives shows have become full of manufactured drama and who can stir the most trouble up for ratings. Every franchise has that one housewife Tamara, Brandi, Kenya and Aviva who take it to far so they can be the star... The realness is gone and that's why people aren't watching anymore.

RHONYC has always been my favorite. However, this year…Bravo banked on the wrong leads.Carole is not a lead. She is great quirky support.None of the ladies wanted to tape with Aviva. That’s our loss not theirs.Like or hate her; Aviva can capture an audience. However, taping Aviva’s dad…that’s a loss for everybody.Feeding Sonja’s massive ego by giving her a lead role was a huge misstep. Her day is wide open. Do you really want to be counted as a member of her team???

I hope to see LuAnn, Ramona and Carole return next season.

I couldn’t disagree more. Heather does not have a storyline.Kristen’s storyline “working on a bad marriage” is cliché and boring.Too often Kristen flew of the handle for far too petty a reason.

Who wants to go to Montana…BORING!!!!

Over the past week I read somewhere that the whole "promise ring' storyline was contrived - preplanned between Sonja, Ramona, and Harry; and that the ring was actually Ramona's. So with that in mind I watched tonite's episode and noticed 2 things that support that story. 1. When Sonja received the ring from Harry she barely looked at it- instead of admiring it and giving it a good look over like most women do. 2. When Sonja told Ramona the news that night Ramona never asked to see the ring. So, my gut tells me now that the whole thing was contrived. Actually I find Sonja interesting but I'm done with both of them. The other thing, Heather (who I believe is truthful) said that all the women and Harry left the party together (where Sonja supposedly sprained her ankle) - but Sonja gave the impression that Harry and Luann left the party alone and Sonja was still at the party along with everyone else. Sonja and Ramona are liars. And, obviously Harry as well  - but we knew that already.

Aviva and the leg - puhleeze! So contrived - she must be an idiot to think viewers would believe that was spontaneous. Please fire her. We've had enough.

Kristen - Breath of fresh air!

It's interesting - I've found all of the series of 'housewives' to be extremely irritating, negative and drama-filled lately - so I was asking myself - IS THERE  ANYONE in ANY of these series - or t,he entire franchise - that I actually LIKE ??? Not just tolerate, but like (as opposed to feeling like I'm rubber-necking at a major accident on the freeway) - I think I actually LIKE Heather and Kristen, less so Carole - who is a little 'too cool for school' and has fallen into the same offensive bad habit of so many of them, which is to just talk louder and more quickly over the top of whomever is speaking - Kristen seems to have the SKILL of alternating in conversation - you know - the kind of MANNERS for social interaction that we were all taught - or should have been.

I talk for a FEW minutes while you listen (and consider what I'm saying and NOT just pause while formulating your defense/rebuttal - which is NOT listen), then I PAUSE, and allow you to respond (to which I LISTEN and attempt to understand what you are saying and how it relates to what I've said) - and then we ALTERNATE.

At least that is what I think a conversation is.

Of course, when we're excited, many of us jump in with quick comments, we're enthusiastic - but we're enhancing or supporting what the speaker has said - not hijacking or coopting the conversation.

Like: Heather, Kristen

Amused by: Sonja (wish the best for her, would like to see her pull it together)

Tolerate: Carole (respect her accomplishments, but don't find her particularly likeable at this point)

Neutral: Luann - not stirring drama currently, which, at least, is not a negative

Dislike: Aviva, Ramona - it would be fine with me if I never had to watch either of them ever again  - they both constantly hijack, don't listen, speak loudly and quickly over the top of everyone in the room, are negative, delusional, and both (to give them the benefit of the doubt) appear to need some psychiatric (pharmaceutical) intervention.

But I actually Like 2 of them. hmmmm...

more than I can say for the other franchises.

Have come to like Phaedra-quirky, interestingly, I like Brandi-brash though yes, often inappropriate (but still human and likeable in a real-world-flawed-friend sort of way), Heather-almost 'like (a little stiff but honest, civil and 'real' in her own way)', Alexia is likeable, Adriana and Marisol tolerable....

that leaves most of them in the 'wish I never had to hear their whiney voices, or see their frozen faces, ever again.

Mario should not have cheated on Ramona. If he wanted out, he should have gotten out and then had the girlfriend.

You have to love Heather's "cut the bull" style!  Who has time to play games? If you ask to meet with someone that you know has a problem with you, then be ready to make your point.

Heather tells Aviva she has said vile things about people. Aviva is confused, like she has no clue that she has ever said anything vile about anyone. So she asks H what has she ever said, after a few examples, because she conceeds H is right, A interrupts and wants to know what she's ever said about Heather. Like, OK so I assualt the character and ethics of other people, who cares, what have I ever done to you? HELLO AVIVA, why must you have done something personal to Heather, in order for her to judge your character as an assassin, based on what you have done to others?

Then Aviva goes on to make it about...wait for it......HER! How deeply she has been hurt. Heather asks how and Aviva can't spit it out and has to ask repeatedly, do you know, can you guess, etc, etc, and why? Because there isn't anything! Then she deflects from having to answer the accusation she threw at Heather (how Heather has hurt her deeply) by then spinning what Heather said into name calling.

Aviva is mentally ill and not playing with a full deck.

Heather didn't demean stay at home mom's, as Aviva would like to spin it, she disparaged Aviva personally, who has put down and insulted and belittled Carole's career as well as attacked Heather and her career.

Aviva is definitely feeling inferior around all of these women who have high profile careers, mingle in friend and social circles with famous and influential people, related to high profile and powerful people, and her claim to fame, is growing up wealthy, loosing part of her leg as a child, and marrying 2 married men and having kids.

While being a mother and raising kids is a demanding and rewarding job, Aviva is feeling and acting like that is not enough for her, as she is attacking those who have achieved outside of marriage and family.

Aviva is a leveler. People who feel inadequate who try to "level" those who have what they want. (Carole's Emmy's, NY times Best seller (What remains went there twice), Carole's family connection to the Kennedy's, Carole is a titled Princess, LuAnn is a Countess, Heather runs in famous and influential circles, Ramona has Tru Renewal Skincare line, Ramona Pinot Grigio, Tru Faith Jewelry, and jewelry line, Sonja, having been married to the JP Morgan banking empire and hobnobbed and jet setted with the uber wealthy, etc, Their success outside of home and family poses a threat to Aviva, no matter how much she loves being a mom and wife, which causes her to sabotage the ladies in any way she can in order to bring you down to their level.

Sadly Aviva seems to have built her entire identity around being a victim. So she expects everyone to constantly rally around her encouraging her and rewarding her for just being in their presence. And when they don't she goads and attacks, then plays the victim when they strike back.  I get that she had trauma in her life but guess what, join the club. We all have our scars and war wounds that we carry around with us, the trick is to not letting them define who you are. That's the really courageous part.

@Kymmie I doubt it. You are on Bravotv.com watching video extras and making gossipy comments about the NY women. Seems like the HW franchise is doing alright by you!

@BravoRealHouse I like that Aviva does her best to honor the only parent she has left.

@thelmadickinson The reality is that Aviva has nothing to be jealous of.  She has had the best education money can buy, has a law degree, has worked for charities for amputees, and seems to have a wonderful husband and is choosing to be a stay-at-home mom.  Good for her.  None of the other women is better off than she is.

Exactly she has rapid eye movement. I noticed that it's her barometer :-)

@rzanna @thelmadickinson  Despite all that Aviva can buy, you are correct in that she does not need to be jealous, but she is and is an insecure woman and needs accolades from people. When she does not get the attention she thinks she deserves, she crucifies the person for not living up to her expectations. She ruined Carole's celebratory trip because no one rolled out the red carpet and congratulated HER for making it. She is a needy woman and spiteful when the attention isn't given.
