How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

Your relationship problems put you in the center of this week's episode. From Alex to Simon to Jill to all of your other friends -- everyone had an opinion about what you should do. Did that help you?

I honestly believe that in situations like this people ask other people's opinions just to hear themselves speak, and they ultimately do what they know is right. Although everyone was trying to help, no one has my past, my personality, my situation and I have to trust my own instincts. I can't be more honest than by telling you the following: Jason and I had only been together 6 months, and as I have done in the past, I started looking for reasons to run, and I put a gun to Jason's head on camera. I literally blindsided him and he felt trapped. As it has turned out, I have been very happy to have not moved in then. Jason has 3 children, my career has exploded, and I don't want to continue my record of being the runaway bride. I would rather be ready, be engaged, move into a new place together and do things the way they naturally should evolve. bethany_ep4_02_320x240.jpg

Alex and Simon pulled you aside at her birthday party. How did you feel about that? Were they helpful? Or did you find that unnecessary?

It was what it was. They were concerned. They were thoughtful, and I was an idiot rambling on to them about my relationship out of one side of my mouth and saying that I don't like to talk about it out of the other side. I was just venting. I just needed the closest vein to inject my nonsense into and they were there.

Any Miami hotspots besides Table 8 you can recommend?

Prime 112 is a great restaurant that is always packed. They specialize in steaks and seafood. Casa Tua is a small, beautiful, romantic restaurant with an upstairs private lounge with a european crowd. Vinci is the great hotel where I stayed. It's small and hip. The Setai is by far the most upscale hotel. It has a chic Asian flair and is fun and hip as well. I love going there for a drink. I never visit Miami without eating at Nobu. I like sitting at a small cocktail table in the bar and ordering there. It's better than the vibe in the dining room.

The Sky Bar is a very cool, sexy bar with great music. I recently ate at DeVito's (Danny DeVito's restaurant) and they had the best meatballs I've had in a while. In addition, their steak is fabulous.

For kids, Barton G is a fun dinner place because everything is fun and kitschy. They serve milkshakes in a blender on the table, popcorn shrimp in a massive popcorn bucket and so on.

Thanks so much for watching and reading. I love receiving your emails.

Also, for many of my new recipes (I'm adding my Lychee Martini featured on the show) and healthy tips, go to www.bethennybakes.com. Every time you ask me for a recipe, I try to add it to my site. It helps me to determine my baked goods' flavors, cookbook topics etc.
