How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

First things first: Ramona, Simon, and the dinner party. Reflect.

I don't walk in anyone's shoes but my own. If you want to bring your husband, we'll live. It's not how I live, but to each his own. As for Ramona's departure, it definitely was abrupt and jarring, but we managed to have a great night. Truthfully, it gave us a funny topic to discuss for the rest of the evening.

As for the class discussion, I think that the definition of class is definitely not for us to be attempting to define class. I was a bit uncomfortable during that conversation because I, by no means, think that I should be telling other people what class is. I enjoyed the company. I loved the way Brad decorated the table, and Jill was a terrific host. Alex and Simon brought a terrific wine, Ramona a delicious cake, and I thought the way LuAnn tried to diffuse the initial awkwardness of Simon's arrival was great. Overall, it was a fun night.

You spent a lot of time with LuAnn this week. Can you talk about the now infamous driver incident?

LuAnn has her perspective, which I respect. I don't draw any lines between people who work for me, drive for me, etc. My assistant Molly now lives in my apartment. My driver Karl comes on vacation with us, our nannies eat with us and I am constantly joking with all of them and I trust them implicitly. They are family. However, I went through a painstaking process to find people I love and trust. I treat everyone exactly the same from my doorman Frank to the UPS man to Susan Sarandon. The driver that evening was a temporary driver who I barely knew. However, when I met him, I got his name, shook his hand and assumed that LuAnn would do the same. I had no idea that she would think it would be inappropriate for me to call her by her first name. However, as I said, she has her own principles which I absolutely respect. I think LuAnn is terrific. Being different is what makes a horse race. As for our dinner, we had a wonderful time.

You got a little emotional at François' birthday party. Did talking to Alex help?

It's just hilarious how every time I see Alex, I'm emotional in some way. As you saw, I didn't engage whatsoever. I said I didn't want to discuss it much less at her son's birthday party. My birthday was shortly thereafter and my lack of family sometimes makes me emotional. In addition, my dog Cookie became very ill, was hospitalized and wasn't doing well that day. She is my family and that was just the icing on the cake (no pun intended). Check out her video on my BethennyBakes YouTube Channel. She also has her very own MySpace page!

Thank you so much for the wonderful emails. They are so inspiring. I read them all and love to hear your perspective. Many people have asked for my lychee martini recipe, which you can find here.
