Hello to each and every one of you. Firstly, a huge thank you for your incredible support last week. It was absolutely inspiring to feel the warmth that I received from the fans of RHOBH...and, coupled with that, our ratings have been fantastic!
Anyway, now let's get our teeth stuck into this week's episode. We open with a visit to the flower market. I go every week, and each time is as special as the last. I create huge arrangements in Villa Blanca and Sur, and it really is so appreciated by everybody who goes there. It is a passion of mine, and my ego won't let anybody else try to do it!
You can tell this show is reality when it captures emotional moments, like when Adrienne received the phone call telling her about her uncle’s passing. It was sad to see Adrienne suddenly disoriented, leaving, and ultimately staying behind from our trip. Also, I found it disheartening to see Camille and Kelsey with their children, and to realize the magnitude of what he has given up. Extraordinary.
So Camille had invited us all to New York. For me to go on a trip across the country, when I have so many demands here with family and business, I want to be assured to have a fantastic time. So I tried to encourage some sort of communication between Kyle and Camille before we left--to no avail. When we arrived, I witnessed the exchange between them, and felt relieved that they'd embraced, and we were moving forward...phew! Little did I know of what was about to erupt. We first went up to Taylor’s suite, and the two of them had a few minutes alone. (That was when you caught me listening at the door.) As I heard no raised voices, I was certain that we could now relax and enjoy the weekend...
I asked Kyle if they'd cleared it up without wanting details, and she assured me all was well. So I was really taken aback when it all kicked off downstairs in the restaurant. Something happened between us leaving the suite and us reconvening in the bar. And I do manage to get to the bottom of that in a later episode!
Kyle has always been indignant that what she said didn't tally with Camille's side of the story. I didn't witness the exchange between the two of them, but I was certain that Kyle intended no malice whatsoever, and I tried to explain that to Camille when we went shopping. As you have probably gathered by now, I am extremely close to Kyle and knew that the reason behind her anger was the fact that she was defending her character against Camille’s accusations of her lying!
There was absolutely no way either of them would capitulate, and so basically all hell broke loose, and ended up ruining the whole weekend. It was emotional and difficult to be in the middle of. The calmer Camille became, the more it provoked Kyle.
I sat there at the table feeling absolutely helpless as to what to do. We leave it there in the middle of this dispute, and you will have to see next week what transpires. But rest assured the weekend was no picnic, that's for sure. I always try to find the humor in situations, but this time that would've been a fruitless task.
I hope to see you next week, for the conclusion!
Love always, Lisa.
Congrats on winning the poll for Favourite MUM!!!! Are you going to dish out the receipe for the meal you made for your family???
I'm glad Andy cleared up the,"Who would like to have as your mother?" results. I knew that you really won and deserve it.
I have to say you are such a breath of fresh air. You are beautiful inside and out, and I love the relationship you have with your family and how you all put each other first, you call it like it is but are always a lady. You also have a fun off the cuff sense of humor which I love, and of course little Jiggy, how cute is that little guy? I hope you will encourage the others to give Camille a break, though I am not her biggest fan, I do feel for all she has had to go through so very much and could just use some unconditional friendship, love and support right now. I know you have done it and as usual have set the bar for things as they should be. You are a fabulous woman, Lisa and I really really enjoy watching you!
I love you and Adrienne -class acts w GREAT husbands! No wonder they seem to love you both so much! Camille is a nut job! A NJ MTV dancer who married Kelsey when he was going thru a low point in his life! She is trash! Of course she did nt care if she ruined ur trip to NYC - she is the most classless, narrcistic (sp?) hw I have EVER seen on BRAVO - and that is really saying something! Too bad Camille did not take ur advice! You can always go back to NYC w ur family and have a great time!
PS - ur flowers were AWESOME!
Lisa- You are so graceful and know how to get to the heart of a situation without inflaming it more. You asked Camille "What happened between upstairs and now?", (paraphrasing it), and she couldn't really answer that with an intelligent response, but you were quite right in pointing out that it didn't make sense.
I love your uniquely devilish side- you love to have fun with people without being mean. Your friendship with Kyle is a true one and I think it will always be there as both of you are direct and honest- no games involved. Teasing sometimes, but no games.
You are a gem and the best of all housewives on any of the shows. I also love your husbands devotion to you and the family- what a nice man! xxoo
You are a delightful person. I loved seeing you with your kids last week. Those kids are lucky to have you as their mom. You seem like a true friend and a straight shooter.

Oh Lisa, Why, oh why can't someone talk sense into Camille? She's delusional and living in her own little world! She was so rude to say "I won" because Kyle was adamant about what she said. I don't know how Kyle kept it together, I really don't! I wish you could help since you are so level headed and explain to Camille she is WRONG!!!
I think you have a very good perspective on situations and people. You were right to try and defend Kyle the best you could. You are a good friend.
On a lighter note, love the Chanel coat you had on, gorgeous! Best of luck!
Love you Lisa! I never thought I would like this show but I love it because of you! Your love for your family shows and we need more of that now more than ever...
Love you Lisa....you're a class act all the way! I think what we're going to discover is that Taylor had something to do with restarting Camile and Kyle's argument. As the argument started up again, Taylor had the strangest look on her face (as strange as her botoxed face can look anyway) and I just know she had something to do with it. Tell me I'm right Lisa!
Lisa, love you on the show. But, in response to your comment, Kelsey left Camille. He hasn't lost out on his children. There's a difference. I'm sorry to see her go through such a public divorce, but this show is really just making her appear shallow and superficial--and giving more sympathy for Kelsey. As men grow older and more successful, they want a strong intellectual for stimulation---not a Laker's cheerleader.
Ooooo la la! The flower arrangements was spectacular. You do have an eye. Your level headedness is even More spectacular. Did you take any psych classes in college or were you simply born with it. I wrote this before and I will continue to write it.....Bravo, give Lisa and her hubby their own show!
LISA YOU HAVE CAUGHT MY ATTENTION SINCE THE VERY FIRST EPISODE. YOUR ALWAYS LOOKING SO GORGEOUS AND I NOTICE MOST TIMES YOUR WEARING SOMETHING PINK MUST BE YOUR FAVORITE COLOR. ANY WAY YOUR PERSONALITY ROCKS AND ITS AWESOME YOU HAVE STAYED MARRIED FOR 28 YEARS I HOPE MANY WOMEN LEARN FROM YOU
You are becoming my fave of this crop of HWs. It's clear what a wonderful friend you are: arranging for a hypnotist to help Kyle with her fear of flying; trying to diffuse Camille's misinterpretation of Kyle's seemingly innocent comment; trying to figure out how Camille melted in the 20 minute interval of an apology and dinner and supporting both Taylor and Kyle at their daughters' birthday bashes. In addition, your quick, succint and witty side comments highlight the scenes. You're a one woman Greek chorus.
Hi Lisa, I love the things you say and the way your present yourself. You could read the phone book and make it sound fascinating. You are the BFF everyone wishes they had!
We need more Jiggy time on this show?! Love you as always, your hubby is so in love with you, it's cute to watch!
I knew those numbers were wrong and I'm glad they did a recount! You are the best mother of all of the "girls." I'm surprised you didn't leave that weekend. I'm known for leaving uncomfortable situations and going home to our pups.
I had no idea Virgin America uses such small airplanes. It looked like an economy carrier which, I guess, it is in America. Too bad. That upset me very much. You all needed Oprah's Global Express XRS.
LISA, YOU ARE A TRUE DOWN TO EARTH PERSON WHO CARES ABOUT EVERYONE! I LOVE YOUR STYLE AND STRENGTH. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE! YOU SHOW EVERY WOMAN OUT THERE HOW TO ACT WITH CLASS AND STYLE! LUV YOU !!
Oh Lisa, I just love, love, love you! You very well may be my favorite RHW of all time!!! Keep true to yourself and keep Jiggy close by :)
I have to say that you are my favorite BV housewife, followed by Adrienne, and then Kyle. What I love most about you is your sense of family. I love how you can love a child so very dearly that is not biologically yours... To me, that is the biggest indicator of a person with a really good heart. The world needs more mothers like you.
I have been a loyal Bravo viewer for years and watched every single Real Housewives series. I have to say you are my absolute FAVORITE housewife out of all the shows! I just love everything about you! You are so authentic and it really shines through your personality. I feel like you are someone who isnt afraid to be yourself and although you have money, you dont look down your nose at other people. Bravo, please give Lisa her own show!!!!!!!!!
If it wasn't for you Lisa, I wouldn't watch the show. You are so much fun, I loved when you said, "storm in a teacup" and Kyle had no clue what you were talking about. All she can do is bully people, oh well, I won't bad mouth your friend. Loved the hypnotist's little visit. Can't wait until next week.
Total class!!! You represent England well. We could learn a bit of grace from you!!! Funny how I thought Kim was going to be the dramatic one. Camille is a very sad thing to watch.
Here are the things I love about Lisa-
1. She has been married to the same man for 20+ years 2. He still obviously adores her and isn't afraid to say so, even when the other husbands rib him for it. 3. She has great kids that love her a lot. 4. Dedication to work and family. 5. She doesn't flaunt her wealth but behaves with quiet dignity. 6. She has a great sense of humor. 7. Her dog has a better wardrobe than me.
You are truly a refreshing class act in the world of RH.
I was totally prepared to not like you based on your opulent lifestyle but I must admit to be totally wrong. You are classy, appear to be a wonderful caring and respectful lady and I love how your marriage plays out on television. You and your husband seem to have a wonderful, fun, loving and respectful marriage unlike many of the others we see. Camille, of all the housewives, has the least to be proud of as all she does is brag about the things she can afford due to her marriage to a celebrity. IF Kyle said what Camile claims, she wasn't really in the statement. Why would anyone be interested in Camille without Kelsey? She's never done anything to garner the attention, he has. I know you're a busy lady but have you checked out her blog? Even Danielle on RHoNJ had fans but little Miss uppity Camile is being called on the carpet BIG TIME for his callous, superior, pretentious, obnoxious words. She certainly wouldn't be on this show if it wasn't for him as she wouldn't even be living in Beverly Hills with her barrage of servants, nannies, personal trainers and assistants. She could and should take a look at how you carry yourself. Congratulations on making yourself appear approachable, kind and un-effected. It's endearing and admirable. BTW...love your appearance on WWHL!
Kyle is lucky to have you, sweet of you to try keeping the peace. The flowers are gorgeous!!!!!!!! Thanks for your style and sensibility.
I am a self confessed Housewives Junkie and I have to say you are my all time favorite!!! Glad that Andy fixed that broken survey, after the touching episode with your kids, I was left scratching my head trying to figure out how you weren't the top mom! I love your wit, you just make me laugh out loud each week. Plus you are such a beautiful, smart businesswoman, wonderful friend/mom/wife....I just think you are the best. Brokeback Jiggy was the best.
Lisa, Everyday, I take moment to reflect on the Zen-like wonder that is Jiggy. I love his outfits! Lisa, do you think you can host a pup fashion show at your mansion? Jigs would look so awesome strutting his magic down the catwalk!
Also, thanks for clarifying key aspects of the Kyle-Camille feud. From the looks of it, Kyle is the more credible of the deuling duo. Camille's baiting of Kyle looked like the 'norm' for Camille. I wonder if she did that to Kelsey day and night? I know I would relocate across the country if someone did that to me constantly.
Congrats on being Top Mom!
Love! Love! Love! Best, Aloha 808
Lisa I LOVE you and Adrienne...class acts 100% and to quote my British friends you and your husband are definitely "Top Shelf".
Out of all of the housewives you are my favorite. You are beautiful, have a wonderful family, and are truly a class act.
Kyle didn't exactly tell Camille she was insecure, so much as Kyle equated shyness with insecurity (which may or may not be a fair comparison). But here's the difference between being insecure and not: when you told the Virgin clerk that you knew Richard Branson, even saying, He's a friend of mine, it came across as sincere and interesting. You could have just as easily been saying, Yes, I've been to New York and it's lovely. Now let's imagine Camille saying the same thing. It would have sounded haughty and self-involved. The audience can tell these things, Lisa, because what's real comes through. Love watching you, and watching you create that flower arrangement was like watching a magic trick. Presto and voila. Amazing.
I just adore you and really admire the way you have carried yourself so far this season. I have the utmost respect for you as a mother(I voted for you last week and was happy to see you claim your "crown" last night!) and as a wife. You seem like a genuine, kind, considerate, and level-headed preson who has not let money and Beverly Hills get to your head, unlike some of the other women. However, my favorite thing about you is your sense of humor!!! You keep me in stiches every week and I can't get enough of you(and Kyle!!).
I was happy to hear you defend Kyle's reaction to Camillle in your blog, and I completely agree with everything you said. Camille is much more calculating than people realize and knew exactly how to push Kyle's buttons, which I found utterly distastful and childish of her. I have a feeling I know why(or should I say who, Taylor) things took a turn after you all left the suite to get ready for dinner.
Anyway, I just love you this season and have enjoyed watching you, Kyle, Kim, and Adrienne week-after-week!!! Keep it coming ladies- you all rock!!!!!
Lisa you are my favourite. British practicality, good manners, great style. I think Camille acts very inappropriately at times and it does speak to her lack of self confidence.
First, you & Audrienne are my favorite housewives. Second, w/Camille being the hostess of the weekend she should have been happy w/Kyle's apology. But, Camille's issues keep her from seeing things as everyone else sees them. I don't think people will be lining up for anything Camille arranges after this. Horrible hostess to continue it @ the table after it was settled for all intents and purposes. Even IF she still had the problem she did she, being the hostess, should have let it go until she was back on the west coast & deal w/it one on one.
I loved your flower arrangement! Soooo beautiful! I love cooking too & seeing the yummy food you prepare makes my mouth water. I don't think your houseguest will ever leave. It would change the chemistry of your house too much @ this point anyways.
I do love the relationship you & your husband have. He was missing you shortly after you left for NYC. The other husband's not so much but your husband knew you were thousands of miles from him & he felt it. It was lovely. I got tears in my eyes. I have a very happy marriage also and would feel the distance between my husband & I.
So, keep your chin up & duck when you see one of Camille's foul balls flying around. I have a feeling there will be plenty.
What a lovely lady you are! I was so touched last week as you watched Kyle with Portia at her party and wistfully talked about how you loved those moments with your children and how they went too fast. I could not agree more. My kids are similar ages to yours and I love the people they're becoming but still miss their wonderful childhood days gone by. It's obvious your greatest joy in life is your family and you seem like a great mom.
And you make EVERYTHING sound perfectly logical...especially "All that was missing for Camille was a pole, Realleh!" So hilarious. Loved it!!
Hello Lisa, It's a shame, some people have it all and it's still not enough. It goes to show you can have all the money in the world, but like the saying goes, money can't buy happiness. It's quite evident, that Camille is a very unhappy person. She has many insecurities that became quite apparent. If she wasn't so insecure, she wouldn't have taken offense to what Kyle had boldly told her, "not to be so insecure, when it came to their friendship". That situation could have been easily squashed. Kyle could have once again taken the high road and once again apologized for basically wounding Camille's ego. It seems one has to walk on egg shells when in Camille's company. All the while she's flirting with everyone's husband because she is just so very shy, you know. Youre great Lisa!
Lisa, I can't say much more than all the other praises of the other posts, but you are definitely my favorite Housewife of all the series. You are not just classy for reality TV, you're classy for real life.
Hi Lisa: I love you too! Please keep showing the rest of us how to dress gorgeously - have you thought of writing a "how not to be 40 & frumpy" book? Your judgment is spot on, your work ethic & love of your family & friends is so refreshing. You deserve every good thing in your life. One question - is the spaniel pictured yours as well? Please keep making the show so interesting. PS I think Camille is not being honest at all about the Kyle comment. She is one who likes to stir the pot.....
