What's the recipe for a good relationship? Bethenny explains.
Jill is so open and her heart is just as full as her house. I work constantly, so doing it from a white fluffy bed was a dream. I call it "lockdown" and we definitely locked it down whenever we could. Don't get me wrong, she and I both had our Macs and my Blackberry was glued to my hand. But we loooooove the bed.
It is so rare for someone to discourage someone from renting a house so they'll stay with you. Jill loves people and loves being the center of attention and never likes to be alone. Add that to having a healthy chef at your fingertips and you have the makings of a yummy summer (Jill cleans the dishes and kitchen though and Ally is my sous chef).
When I said I needed space from Jason, I meant the Grand Canyon. It is never about what it's about. The right man could have 20 kids and the wrong man could have zero.A relationship is a recipe and when it is right you can taste it and feel it.
Nothing is more joyful than imitating Jill. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery and flattering Jill is what I do best and what she loves most. She is family. My dream is to imitate her on Saturday Night Live. You ain't seen nothing of my imitation of Jill yet.
I truthfully thought Ramona's ten tips for manhandling were timeless and spot on. No disrespect.I can handle any man with the Bethenny rules. The question is if they can handle me.
Even better than the fact that Ramona looked like a honey-glazed ham in her weightlifting picture was the fact that she can take the joke. Ramona has thick skin and dishes it, but can take it. Those are the qualities she and I have the most in common. Ramona, Jill and I are so brutally honest. Jill is more sensitive than we are though.
I'm more like the guy in a relationship because I'm too busy for nonsense. I have no interest in texting or pleasantries. Let's get to the point.I don't believe in games, I don't want anyone weepy or weak, and if I'm not that into you, I'd rather not spend a Sunday with you just to fill space. I'd rather be surfing or snowboarding. Plus, ironically, the skinnygirl margarita is a man's drink made of mostly tequila.
It helped talking to Jill's mother - she is the parent I never had. Her advice was sound and when I am quiet and crying, then you know there's been a shift. Gloria and I are the same person generations apart - ballbusters through and through.
