Mind Games

The NYC Housewives are back, and Jill dives right back into the drama!

By Jill Zarin

We're back! Hi everyone! I CANNOT believe it has been 9 months since we were last on TV! I could have given birth! The pain was excruciating at times. You will see how we lived our lives last summer and fall and watch Allyson grow into the young lady she has become. We are so proud of her. I also re-launched my website: www.jillzarin.com. You can see exclusive behind-the-scenes photos and stories there. I also do frequent interviews on www.livewithlisaradio.com after each episode, so check there for new audio!

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

Now, onto the juice you all want to hear. I have to say the NY Magazine article was very hurtful to me at the time. They never talked badly about anyone before and now they talked badly about me, or so I thought. When I spoke with Cindy Adams for The Post, I took the opportunity to address Simon and Alex. I can't say I was right, but that was how I dealt with it at the time. We both were offended, but we were able to get past it and move on. I should be weary of the press, as some take advantage of my words, but I am who I am, and will continue to talk.

The charity event you saw in episode one is called Help For Orphans. My dear friend Sarah Ehlich is the founder and chair of this charity. She has been to Kenya many times and asked me last summer to help. She is not as connected socially in the Hamptons and I loved the idea of funding a vocational school in this region. I met Peter, the Headmaster, of the school this past summer. Though he was not able to come to event, he will be excited to see it online from Africa. If you would like to help the school and learn more about it, please go to www.jillzarin.com and click on charities

My first impression of the new housewife, Kelly, was that she was pretty. She is gorgeous. Her smile is contagious and she is always very happy.

It was very high school and very awkward running into Alex in the Hamptons. I found out they were coming from a weird masseuse that came over and told me that she rents rooms in her home. Then she told me who rented 2 rooms from her. I almost died. I ran upstairs to Bethenny. It really was so crazy and toxic, but yet exciting at the same time. We were all playing mind games.

Ramona loves the DRAMA. She actually thinks about things in advance, whereas I am more spontaneous with my reactions. I definitely REACT, but I think to say that I overreact is overstated. She likes to stir up the pot. I guess we all do it, some more than others.

I am very excited to be back on Bravo for Season 2. Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly getting us on-air so quickly and to BRAVO for the amazing ad campaign. I hope you enjoy the show!
