Stick To What You Do Best
Real husband Mario Singer gives his take on this week's episode.
Thank you for all your responses. I must say there were quite a few of you who did not appreciate my sense of humor and really took my comments way to seriously. It was very interesting to read how some of you saw though the comments and found them funny while others called me very ungentlemanly and should behave more like Simon. More on that later.
Trust me, I am always a gentleman when called for, but Jill needed to be taken down a couple of notches. What was not shown in last weeks tennis match was after MaRona defeated SiJill in less than 20 minutes 6-0 and it wasn’t even that close, Kirk was kind enough to take Simons place and we really had a fun set. Everyone enjoyed it including Jill and the people who came to watch got to see some good tennis. There is even a twist and if the powers that be decide to show the match that should have been, I don’t want to spoil it for the viewers. One more thing and then I’m going to move on. I was really surprised how Jill said her game was improving and she thought that she and Simon could have beaten us. Clearly, she forgot how she was sucking air running back and forth to get the shots I was hitting. The poor girl would have had a heart attack if I had kept it up so I started feeding her the ball to make her look good. That’s the thanks I get from her.
Now for last night's show. It was very interesting to see how all the girls are working on various businesses, books etc. I would like to congratulate Bethenny on the success of her book. One thing I must say though is that she broke one of her own rules by taking back the comments she said about Jill’s apartment on her blog. Bethenny didn’t you say that “once you say it you own it?" I guess you forgot that when you tried to take it all back. I got such a laugh out of the things she said that I just couldn’t resist to make a few remarks myself. One thing that puzzled me was how she criticized Ramona for having three different brands; TrueFaithJewelry.com, Tru-Renewal Skin Care and Ramona Singer Estate Jewelry on HSN. Hey Bethenny, aren’t you promoting Bethenny Bakes, SkinnyGirl Margaritas and Naturally Thin? Where is the synergy? If it works don’t fix it.
Now for my favorite housewife (other than Ramona) Jill. We find Jill trying to single handedly revive the US economy by spending Bobby’s money like he had a printing press. And what was that “Big PP” (private plane) comment? Not funny Jill. Stick to what you do best, getting your picture taken as much as possible and shopping.
LuAnn is seen working on her book which I understand will be out shortly. Maybe they should hold the presses and make a few changes. Out with the chapter on “How to stay Happily Married” and add a chapter on “The Proper Manners and Etiquette when going though a Divorce."
This brings me to Alex and Simon. I understand that Alex is coming out with a book on child rearing. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That’s as funny as Jill coming out with a book on shopping on a budget. We finally get to see the true colors of Simon and boy is he one dysfunctional dude. Imagine losing it like that with the camera two feet from your face. The look on Alex’s face says it all, sheer terror like this is not the first time she’s seen this behavior. All because the driver took a wrong turn? Simon you don’t think that Alex would have figured out where you were going once you were in Brooklyn near your home? Very ungentlemanly. Well at least the rest of the world got to see more of the real you. Talk about a hypocrite. Oh yeah and if you admit to not being able to play tennis than why did you accept Jill’s invitation to play?
OK, I cannot leave out Kelly. I heard that she says she graduated from Columbia which is an Ivy League school. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I have definitely got to see that diploma. I can’t wait to see Bethenny do an imitation of you when you enter and greet everyone with "Hiiiiii" and "Hiiiii how are youuuuu" and “that’s so cute."
All the best.
