Liar, Liar
Alex address her confrontation with Kelly and what's really out in the Twittersphere.
June 30, 2011Let's start with the good stuff. Sonja and her feng shui, and the plumber really touched me. That's the Sonja we know and love, and I hope she gets everything she wants from her new beginning. Ramona threw an amazing party, and we all had a great time -- both at the walk-through and that night.
Moving on. . .clearly I have a handicap when fighting, because it doesn't occur to me to lie. I always assume that liars get caught, so I don't do it.
Jill and Kelly both tweet a lot. Jill tends to chase celebrities and try to meet them. She also tweets and posts on Facebook snarky things about people she doesn't like -- myself, Ramona, and Simon just to name a few. Kelly has gotten better with tweeting since she started, I’ll give her that, but back when this all was filmed she constantly tweeted nonsensical stuff that seemed to be written in code.
Simon's interactions on Twitter have nothing to do with his social media business. The only business Simon does while tweeting is show business; i.e. increase interest in Bravo and the Housewives, which all cast members do. I don't know why Kelly thinks Simon tweets all day; she tweets a lot more than he does. We all joined Twitter around the same time and she has sent 2,000 more tweets than Simon. For that matter, Andy tweets as much as Simon does, and no one accuses him of tweeting more than he works! Simon's business is teaching hotel and hospitality companies how best to use social media sites to drive their business, and that doesn't involve him tweeting personally.
When Jill tweets snark, and Kelly tweets gibberish, or other people respond to their tweets and also tag Simon, sometimes Simon responds. He might retort, or make a joke while trying to decipher some tweet-in-code that Kelly wrote. Sometimes, he also corrects or sticks up for them if what the person tweeted was horrible. Anyone who follows those three online can see that -- go and have a look.
From UK, just saw this episode and I agree with some others that you need to take more of a stand with your husband and the others. You and Simon are not one person, no matter how much you may want to believe this is true. Simon really shouldn't have much of a relationship with the others other than as a +1 as your husband. Everyone got on Mario about doing that in preevious seasons and the same should apply to Simon. It is okay and healthy for you to have relationships (girlfriend relationships) outside of Simon, there should be no need to take sides. Another women should not confront your husband about his behavior towards them because it can easily become a bully situation. Not everyone is going to like your husband but everyone needs to at least be respectful to one another.

I love the way you don't back down. It is so nice the way you support your husband and your husband supports you. I am really impressed with that part of you. It's really too bad that more people aren't like you and Simon.

Hang in there Alexa, This season has you coming up for air in argument after argument with one of the ladies. Why the bad vibe? I happen to agree with those who find Simon's interactions with everyone to be borderline obsessive. Can you influence him to take a less combative role on the show, like the other husbands? He is ruining your reputation.

Alex you need to be a little aggresive, Kelly wants to talk but as soon you start to talk she gets weird and doesnt let you talk shes so dam rude not to listen to you. Dont let her do that. she says Simon is weird and its her. She is so freaking RUDE. ITS like a joke to her, keeps attacting you. Put a stop to that. Tell shut the f k up and hear me out,
Alex...I am always on your side when things blow up because you are the voice of reason. You are always able to explain things so clearly about the episodes and the back stories that accompany them. One thing that threw me tonight, and I hope Simon explains it in his blog, was the WATCH OUT that he said to Jill. It did sound a little threatening, which seems out of character for Simon.

I find it to be the funniest thing on television when KKB goes on a rant about how someone else's behavior is weird - too, too hilarious (and scary too.)

Tonight when you were speaking with Kelly, it reminded me of Bethenny and Kelly's past interactions. Kelly won't stop talking, and she loves to jab at you without letting anyone get a word in. It's so strange that she blurts out what you (meaning Simon) did wrong, and doesn't expect you to have a rebuttal.
Her behavior is very similar to the word she loves to say about everyone else "weird"...
Even if Simon did send a "mean" tweet to the diva's of the group, they need to speak to Simon not you. When LuAnn, Cindy and Jill were all discussing how "odd" it was for Simon to ask Jill to lunch, I burst out laughing. Jill thinks so much of herself that she turned a small lunch into a huge ordeal ~ We all know that Bobbie could care less if she went to lunch with Simon!

Jill did nothing to your husband at the party. He was the one who said, "Watch out!" and that caused the discussion about the mean tweeting. Jill was nothing but polite, honest, and truthful to Simon.
How or why do you put up with Kelly?
