I think Alex hit the nail on the head when she said that confrontation makes Kelly nervous so she makes it her mission to shut it down. Her condescending tone with Alex really rubbed me the wrong way.

Kelly I give you an B+ for effort about trying to stay neutral in such a hard situation. You need to realize though that telling someone over and over how they feel like "you feel sad, not .....", let someone feel what they want, how someone feels is not at your discretion. And the dinner conversation about how Alex was Dracula, and she was trying to ruin things and cause drama.. Really? And as soon as she walks in you invite her in for dinner??

I normally adore you Kelly. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why you would think that it was okay to continually shut Alex down for trying to express her feelings. First you try to tell her what she is feeling (really??), then you tell her to "close her eyes" and finally you feel the need to escort her physically from the dinner table. I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. This is a grown woman, Kelly!!! If that had been me and I am sure many others, I would have outright decked you. How frustrating for her. To her credit she never lost it on you. I honestly don't know how.

Kelly, you were so nice in tonight's episope. I really do like you this season, but who do you need to talk and insult all the ;adies behind their backs? Please work on that.

Kelly I am so enjoying you on the show. You are the voice of reason this season. I also like that you tell the truth of a situation. I think you were very gracious when you told Alex she was sad and not angry; because I think she was neither sad or angry just dramatic. Maybe next week you will have some more decorating tips. You have great taste and your tips does not break the bank and is usually cheerful. Keep entertaining us in your positive way. Fun can be nice. Nice is a four letter word but not a dirty work. I was a little worried about you last season (ok alot worried), but you are very interesting and I am seeing you in a new light. I just about lost it when you were trying to calm Alex after she stomped down the stairs to confront LuAnn. I was wondering if you maybe weren't pissing her off even more by shushing her. Kelly, I think you handled this trip with all it's drama really well. I really hope the ladies will start showing themselves in a better light as what I am seeing just makes women look like a caddy mess.

With that being said. I loved reading your blog and that you went for a visit to a local orphanage. I wish they would have showed that instead of all the drama.

As someone who travels a lot I was cringing at Americans being seen in this manner. I surely hope the ladies apologized for their rude behavior with the staff and people who came in for special events.

I really hope you continue to stay grounded and do your thing but let people have their moments and keep to your suggestion of being the observer.

I wish we could have seen the gowns and tattoo's. Someone post some pics!

kelly, i think you have the right idea about staying calm and not getting confrontational. the goal should be trying to be peaceful. think that when you end up in the room where confrontation is happening, you don't always know how to remain in a "peace bubble" -- which is perfectly fine. you have a big heart that wants happy around you. but at the same time, when something happens to someone and they are upset, they can't always push things under the rug. they have to find the appropriate time and clear-headed state to speak to whomever to resolve their issues. you acheive that sometimes and other times you are way off target in promoting that. encourage people to feel what they do, to see the other side and then to resolve reasonably issues. also be careful not to offend people in your attempts to calm them down. right idea wrong execution. you don't call it anger, but the way you behaved with alex (though she should have been calmer), seemed angry. also what was the "snake"? i hope you aren't referring to alex, because that would be a dig. i thought we were trying to be better. and be careful of wearing trainers and running shorts in conservative countries, it's important to be modest (as you mentioned to alex). but i do want to commend you for really trying to be calm and making the most of morocco/vacation and tell you to keep up being the voice of reason!

Kelly - the positive way you handle the conflicts is great...the way you seem to handle things overall on the show is really fantastic and seems so different from last season. Wonderful to see you so happy and grounded!

OMG Kellybean! NO WAY are you the weirdest housewife! That poll on WWHL was off!!! You are totally hilar!!!!! You straight up called Alex out for being weird, which is exactly what her outburst was and you hit the nail on the head right away on her behavior being unauthentic. It was totally "casino" as you so cleverly said it. And the Santa comment was a classic!

Seriously though... Ramona was stumbling around outside w/ Sonya (Geez...) while Alex was losing it on her behalf.... Huh??? So yea, that was (obviously) either instigated by the producers or because she wanted her moment. Or maybe because Alex has pinned up animosity towards Luann. Although we can't forget the role Simon plays in getting her all worked up and she always calls him when she needs someone to talk to. I guess bc she's kind of the odd ball. Kinda sad :(

Ramona wasted & rambling (as usual) to Sonya (very mean & strange person) on the beach while it all went down & Ramona really seemed clueless to it when Alex told her what had happened. IDK? I just don't think we can blame the editing entirely for that scene. It really was totally random, crazy, weird and as Cindy said it so perfectly, "A DISASTA!" OMG! Still Rotflmao!!!

This cast is straight up throwing out 7 different kinds of crazy! It's way more of a show now without Bethany's constant whining, crying and just sucking all of the precious life giving air & energy from any room whether she's in it or not. Whew! She needed a show of her own! I hated watching her get to you. Not because you're weak or anything like that! You just both total realists for sure! That's why you two locked horns soooo badly! It's just that your reality is about focussing on the positive and her reality is all about the negativity & bitterness. And I'm pretty sure that even she would have to agree with that.

But the interrupting! (Good lord... talk about bad manners!) The interrupting that goes on with the NY gals! It's excruciating! But then again, I'm a southern girl, so watching all of you ladies shout and interrupt one another really is brutal! It's a little better without Bethany, but there's still Ramona.... Ahem... You & Cindy (& maybe Luann) definitely do it the least in a group discussion. It's all on tape :) Although I think Luann doesn't really have to interrupt bc she just dominates every conversation she's in. Whatever. But OMG I love Cindy's face of "WTH?" most of the time!!! Hahahaha!!!

I think you are right about Alex going from 0 to 60. She came in like a bat out of hell saying she needed to speak to Luann. It wasn't urgent. No one was dying. She should have waited until a more appropriate time. Alex tends to overreact because she is so dramatic. And, let's face it, I think she likes the screen time. My question is, during the time you were trying to calm down Alex outside you told her to cover her shoulders because "we are in Marquesh" eventhough you were in what seemed to be your own private rihad. Who was looking? And yet, the next day you went out for a run around town in a sports bra and very tight short shorts. What's the deal?

YOU are so likable this season, you are witty and funny! The picture of you in the orphanage is simply beautiful!

I hate that you have always caught heat on the show for being "crazy" but I think finally everyone got to see what I figured out about you along time ago - you are the only normal one that is not self absorbed and just plain mean - and now there is Cindy another girl that doesnt seem to be mean so maybe they will start picking on her and take the heat off of you! You are a very beautiful woman and i loved you on last night's episode trying to keep everyone calm - loved you and especially love Bethanny being gone! Stay lovely!

Nothing was polite about how you responded to Alex. Take your own advice about remaining a spectator. It was neither your business nor Alex's. At least you stuck to quiet footwear.

Kelly, I am LOVING you. You were right to tell Alex that it was 'not her place' to interfere with Jill and Ramona's issues. You called it and were right on point. She was ACTING and in my opinion, trying to get more camera time. That has seemed to be her goal this seaon and last season. Luann should also stay out off Jill's issues. Her remarks this year also seem to be a ploy to get more TV time. I am so glad that you stay neutral and don't get in their mess. I love seeing you and miss seeing you with your girls.

I will agree that you did the right thing in trying to get Alex to see the light, in regards to being angry/sad. I thought that was very thoughtful of you, as friends hurt each others, and those watching just what them all to get along.

One question for you though, you are very quick to interrupt one's thoughts and speach when things are getting heated and this is ok too, given that you are uncomfortable with such situations, how is it that the only person's you feel obligated to whisk away in such moments, have been Ramona and Alex?

The irony of your thought process is this, when in the presence of Jill and LuAnne, you are quick to contribute to there catiness, insults, opinions, of the others, and by others I speak of Alex, Ramona and Cindy. Yet when the others respond it's called childish behavior?

Maybe you should have allowed Alex to speak privately with LuAnn, then you wouldn't have had such a tantrum over your tatoo!

You and LuAnn are the reason for Alex's outburst. Yes Alex may have entered loudly, but from the scene it didn't look like she knew you were that close to the stairway. I'm sure you know as a woman, sometimes shoes or boots can be loud when walking in them and then with a echoing hallway/stairwell doesn't help much either.

Either way, Alex did request to speak to LuAnn separately when she was finished with her tattoo and asked very politely. It was YOU that was badgering her and saying, "You're weird," "Do it again, you're unauthentic." You cannot tell someone whether or not they are being authentic. Alex was trying to compose herself and try to get the words out and you two would not even let her, which was escalading the situation more. Last week I complemented you on how you actually seemed normal. This week, I see crazy loopy Kelly is back in action. How can you even blame your ruined tattoo on Alex. She wasn't applying it to you, you were the one going nuts. Try not telling people what to do so much. If you're uncomfortable and not apart of the equation, then you can quietly remove YOURSELF from the situation. Stop pushing others to do what you want them to do to make yourself feel better.
