Private Eyes

LuAnn lets us know what should stay in the boudoir and gives us the story on her fight with Alex.

By Luann de Lesseps

In this episode, you'll see why the French word boudoir means "private bedroom"! Some aspects of our personal lives are meant to stay that way.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

I felt uncomfortable that "Ramario" and "Silex" decided to share their intimate moments with the viewers. On the other hand, I do think that couples need to make an effort to please each other and keep it sexy -- but this is a great example as to why they should do it in private.

How many times will Cindy get to ride a camel? Sonja should have thought of that before cropping Cindy out. I think the camel pictures are a great memory for all of us to share.

I was surprised to hear of Sonja's bankruptcy matters, and I can imagine how stressful it was for her to go through something like this in the public eye. I don't think that she had an obligation to share her personal financial matters with me, but I'm glad she's allowing us to give her moral support during this tough time.

The happiness on my face was evident when I saw Jacques after our Moroccan trip! He makes me smile and laugh and I missed him very much. I always say, when one door closes another opens, and I'm grateful to have Jacques in my life.

It is always best to avoid discussing a friend's personal financial matters unless he or she asks you directly for advice. Jill is a sharp businesswoman and I'm sure that she understands more about contracts and financial matters than Sonja, but I wish Jill had let Sonja ask for her advice.

Jill's decision to not invite Ramona to her focus group was probably wise, since you never know what Ramona is going to say or how she's going to say it. This is Jill's business venture, and she didn't want anything to get in the way of a positive launch.

When Alex invited me for coffee, I truly thought her intention was to apologize for her behavior at the riad. Instead, she berated me and called me delusional because I wouldn't tell her that it was OK that she freaked out on me for no reason. If she had calmed down and asked me to talk with her privately after the henna tattoos, she quickly would have realized I wanted to support Ramona. Once again, Alex fails to see what happens to the messenger! Ramona and I are big girls, and we can work out our problems on our own.

Next week, join us as we celebrate Victoria's Sweet 16 birthday with family and friends.

Until then, bisous.
