So 2011

LuAnn address her "condescending" attitude and Tweeting behind people's backs.

By Luann de Lesseps

It’s been a great season and I can’t believe it’s over! From beginning my relationship with Jacques, to our trip to Morocco, and singing with Natalie Cole, it’s been a very exciting year. Behind the scenes, our production crew worked tirelessly to make great entertainment and without all their hard work, this season wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you to Andy Cohen for his patience and good humor and to Bravo for allowing us to share our lives with you.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

As a hostess, you try your best to please your guests, but sometimes it’s impossible to please everyone. I wanted the girls to experience the magic of Morocco, and I stepped up to do the coordination and planning needed to make this trip great. If the girls didn't want an RA they shouldn't have behaved like college students!

I don't understand how my expecting people to behave properly makes me a condescending person. I have high standards and I expect my friends to be considerate and kind. Using social networking to communicate their feelings about me rather than just saying these things to my face is so 2011. I don't talk behind my friend’s backs, and I wish they had the courtesy to do the same.

Every marriage is different and what works for Simon and Alex might not work for other people. He’s always been hyper-involved in our lives, and Alex doesn't seem to mind when he intrudes upon her friendships. When your husband says things like “watch out” to your friends, there’s definitely a problem.

When Ramona is backed into a corner, she tries to fight her way out by finding fault with you rather than with herself. Is Ramona an alcoholic? That’s for her to decide.

I will be spending the rest of the summer at home in the Hamptons relaxing with my family and friends and of course, Jacques. I'm thinking about writing a book for children, which I would love for Victoria to illustrate. I will be performing my new single, "Chic C’est La Vie", (available on iTunes) at the Ascension Party on Fire Island on August 19 and at other venues. My fans can stay connected with me throughout the coming months by visiting my website, LuAnndeLesseps.com and by downloading my new iPhone application where you can ask me questions, take a photo with me, and hear some of the famous one-liners from Season 4 (check out the soundboard), on iTunes.
