Ramona discusses her and Sonja's joint birthday party.
Jul 1, 2011Hello again everyone! I hope everyone has a great Fourth of July weekend. A lot going on over here as Avery is about to leave for Oxford and I am leaving for my all new HSN show airing on July 8th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm EST. I hope you all tune in and love the new jewelry collection!
This past weekend was jammed packed with activities! I had fun doing them all, but my favorite had to be going on my friend’s boat to Sunset Beach. It was the perfect thing to do for the holiday weekend!
Now on to the episode. . .
I was so excited to surprise Sonja for her birthday. I can't believe I threw two back to back large parties!!! I really did not think I could pull it off as we had just gotten back from Morocco and only the week before I had thrown Avery's huge bash!
I worked with another great party planner, Arthur Backal, and he deals with the space at ApelIa. I gave him total control as he is the party planner of NYC and throughout the states. I trusted him.
I asked Sonja to dress in silver sequins. I loved the fact that the two birthday girls had on similar dresses!
Nothing gave me more joy than seeing Sonja’s eyes tear up. I had her special friends line up and each present her a white rose. This is how she knew the party was also for her as these were her special friends, not mine. It was a beautiful party with a great atmosphere, food, and energy.
I really believe in positive energy. I believe that without it I would not be where I am in my life.
I always meditate with positive thoughts in the morning before I start my day to Polynesia SPA from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Sonja also needed to create positive energy in her home so I applaud her for bringing the Feng Sui expert.
I was very surprised by the way Jill was speaking about Simon in reference to the negative Facebook posts and Tweets. Was Jill really speaking about herself? I have never witnessed any of this from Simon, but Jill on the other hand gets caught left and right and then deletes her posts like they never happened!
Anyway, I have no time for such nonsense. I only concentrate on the positive, not the negative.

Ramona may seem a little crazy, but she has a heart of gold, she reminds me of my self, but more beautiful and successful. I would love to have a friend like Ramona, I could tell it like it is, so could she, and in the end we always had each others backs.
It was apparent that your love for Sonja and sharing the spotlight at the party touched her greatly. What a good friend you are.
Your exurberance is sometimes too much for me, but I prefer to see a truly happy person who loves to share the joy with others than someone who is a kill joy. Best wishes for all your endeavors.

Save Alex, you are the only housewife of this bunch who seems to want to be a good person...and succeeds! Those other broads only think of themselves, and they know how wretched it makes them. That's why they take such pleasure in picking on you and Alex, they know if anyone is "better" than anyone, it's sure not them.
Oh, crap, I forgot to include the lovely Sonja! She's a doll!
It's odd that you don't remember how bothered you were by Simon and his antics. Imagine if he got in your face as barked, "Watch OUT!" in a threatening way... How would you like that? Simon needs to be muzzled and on a tight leash. Alex (the "Wet Noodle") is too weak to handle him.
Ramona, gotta love ya for sharing your birthday with Sonja. She so deserved having someone do that for her. She is going through alot right now and really needs her friends to rally around her. Stay strong and continue to do what feels natural to you.
I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT FRIENDS LIKE YOU ARE TREASURE :) THE REAL FRIEND IS HONES SOMETIMES TO HONEST BUT THIS IS THE BES FRIEND ...
