Well I want to thank all of my fans for inspiring me to create a fabulous pinot grigio from Italy. I really do enjoy creating products and new businesses. Some women like to shop and go to lunch but I prefer business! So I now have successful jewelry lines for HSN and True Faith. I also revamped my Tru Renewal skin care line with a few cutting edge and clinically proven ingredients and now most recently Ramona Pinot Grigio!

My advice to people has always been to be truly successful you have to love what you do, and I am truly passionate about all my product lines. Part of me also wants to show my daughter Avery, who is now 16, how its done. She has been involved with me in many ways and has learned firsthand in watching me from start to finish in all my new ventures. An alumni from her high school who is now the President of Google came to speak and said, "To be successful you need to LOVE what you do." Avery came home saying, "Mom that is what you always tell me!"

So let's now talk about Episode 1. I for one did not want it to end when I was watching it! As many of you know I always love entertaining and having people over, so I decided a small rooftop party in the beginning of fall would be fun! I decided to also to break out my wine. I love Alex's reaction when she saw the bottle. It was as if I just gave birth! I was so proud of my Ramona Pinot Grigio. The taste is beyond fab and everyone who has tried it loves it!!!

If you had told me four years ago that I would have Alex and Simon staying at my home in Southampton I would have said, "Never would happen in a million years" or "Not over my dead body." No one is more surprised than me! I have come to genuinely like and respect Alex. She has become a true friend, someone I realize can be trusted and who does things from her generosity of spirit and not for personal gain.

When Jill texted me two hours before the wedding to ask if Alex was coming I didn't have the stamina to tell her yes, as I know she would have been on the phone with me first, going nuts, and then with the bride screaming at her about why she invited Alex. She had already been badgering and torturing the bride the past few weeks at having the wedding at the home Jill sold four years ago. Jennifer’s friends bought the home and generously volunteered the location for Jenn and Glenn to have their wedding at. Jill can be at times her worst enemy and can't get out of her own way. How can she act shocked that Alex was there and say she never knew Alex was coming, and then to Alex's face lie and say she knew?!? I just don't get it.

I can't believe that Cindy's brother overheard me outside the church. I now wish I just went over to him and said my feelings were so hurt when he told me he was smoking Jeff's cigar. I felt he did not need to share that information with me. Jeff was a best friend to Mario and me. He died of cancer the summer before. Just being in church and feeling close to God, of course, I was thinking about Jeff. Then seeing Howard made me feel so confused and upset. I admit I did not know how to handle it. I was not angry at him, just very hurt. Hopefully I can resolve this.

I have been on my own and supporting myself since I was 18. I went into my own business at 29. I had no mentors or women to help me. In fact the opposite happened -- women in the work place would try to sabotage me so they could get further! I always believed in helping women and empowering them. Some of my assistants have gone on and opened up their own successful businesses. I was a little rough when I was interviewing, but it is a rough business world out there. You need to know how to interview and what your weaknesses are so when you're in the world of business you will have more tools to succeed. So even though these women weren't for me, I needed to give them some tips to help them get a position and improve their interviewing skills, even if it meant being a little blunt.

FYI: I love the Midwest, Ohio, Nebraska, Michigan, etc. Chicago is one of my favorite cities! Sometimes I admit I use words or phrases that make no sense. I meant to say, "You look like you fell off a truck or just got off a farm," but it still would not have gone over well. LOL! Until next week!!

Xo Ramona
