Season 3
Season 2
Season 1
I ran downtown 35 minutes away from my home to Cindy's neighborhood, in the middle of my business week, to meet her for lunch while she shows Vivienne Tam (and the whole store) her teeth. She shopped just fine, but couldn't have lunch with me for 30 minutes?! I was starving and didn't even know we were shopping first. Cindy described a trunk show at the restaurant outside. I was not happy. I can eat alone uptown in fabulous restaurants.
I have been noticing Cindy's comments about my businesses, homes, and my staff. It seems like she is judgmental. It is not respectful to dance with people you don't know when invited to someone else's home. It was awkward to say the least.
Well, sorry to hear LuAnn and Ramona bickering. I love Ramona's jewelry and know that LuAnn took home a beautiful bracelet that night -- compliments of Ramona! Glad the Countess admitted that Ramona's wine is delicious. It is very good!
I just want Cindy to be comfortable around me. But at least I stand for something. Stand behind someone, and don't criticize everyone and everything. I will tell you personally how I feel. I have had many friends and colleagues for decades, and for better or worse they know they can count on my word and that I say what I do and do what I say. You may not want to hear it, and I don't blame you! I can be a lot to take at times.
Regarding Jill's, Cindy's, and Kelly's comments: I know they like to pick on Ramona, but it's just not fair.
I like your core & have come to take your quirks with a grain of salt ... I think it was shocking to see the difference from last year BUT you are being real & I appreciate that !!! plus you are not a back stabber ... you are a friend !!
Hi Sonja, Your imitation of Ramona was very funny!!! And I loved the outfit you wore for the fundraising event with the firemen. You looked really pretty and sexy. I think you were a bit rough on Cindy tho. Yes, it would have been nice for her to have the Pinot but she didn't, she screwed up and after all, it was her birthday. Also, Ramona was making a scene at her birthday party. Not right and not polite. Ok, so maybe Ramona did get her on the show but that's between her and Ramona how they treat each other. Maybe she is getting to know the real Ramona and doesn't like what she sees. After being a loyal viewer since the show started, I still fail to see where anyone thinks Ramona is a good person and has a kind heart. Also, I think she was right to give Kelly the heads up about the meeting with Ramona. Especially since her kids were going to be present. Even tho you felt like you were doing the right thing, you never know what to expect from Ramona. Yes, it is nice that Jill and Alex made up and Ramona and Kelly made up. Altho a lot of viewers still don't understand why Alex hates Jill so much. And yes, it's great to see Jill back from Australia. She was missed. You were a lot of viewers favorites last year but this year you do seem to be more difficult. Not quite sure what that is all about. So what if Cindy danced with the houseboy. Big deal. Don't be such a snob!
Sagittarius are very loyal friends...surprised you and Jill aren't closer ( you both are Sag's)
Rochelle
Um Sonja, if I swam in the lady pond.... Just sayin' OMG you looked amazing in that baseball uniform!!!!! You got it goin' on girl!!! Beautiful!
I have to apologize for my earlier criticisms. You had me rolling on the floor with your Ramona impersonation you if I hadn't been watching only hearing. I would have thought Kelly was talking to Ramona.Ramona is a character. She grows on you. I can see the beauty in her eyes she really does have good intentions. She wont say anything behind your back that she wouldn't say to your face. Just as I found the same about you this evening. You call a spade a spade. C
I'm very sorry for my early criticisms of you in the beginning of the season. I have to say you were a riot. If I hadnt been watching and just listening I would have thought you were Ramona. You're funny. Loosing Bethenny was a huge loss. I loved her wise cracks she is so witty. Hopefully we can see more of your humorous side this season.Keep it going. I have to agree their is a pecking order. But during the Live Andy show, I voted Lu Ann simply because she's a countess, she's worldly, she's multilingual. But don't sell yourself short. You're catching up. You made me laugh. The only other housewife who could do that is Bethenny. The two of you got along great during her last season. If she had stayed the two of you together with your imitations would have made RHONY the show to watch. People like to laugh.
Love the New York housewives...I noticed in last weeks episode in the first scene with you and Cindy shopping that you wear Loro Piana. I work for Loro Piana and would love for you to visit our Outlet store up in Woodbury. We have many famous people come to our store including another New York housewife. Hope to see you soon and I look forward to next weeks episode. Ciao!
Love you for sticking up for Ramona! You are, without a doubt, one of my favs on any of the housewife shows. Real, a good friend and funny without trying. You also look hot has hell this season. Rock on sista!
Love your critic and your website....Keep on being who you are and let the chips fall where they may. Ramona is very lucky to have you in her court.
I'm glad that you are sticking up for Ramona. I was also glad that you stuck up for Kelly at Scary Island. Life is short. I like that you don't take it too seriously and waste time on negativity. You have enough confidence to polk fun at Ramona a little bit rather than get dragged into the gossip and Ramona bashing. I hope that inspires some of the other ladies.
CINDY, I THINK YOU SAT AT THAT LUNCH WITH RAMONA MUCH LONGER THAN I WOULD HAVE. SHE DOESN'T LISTEN AND SHE MADE NO SENSE. WHY DID THE LENGTH OF HER MARRIAGE EVEN COME UP? YOU EXPLAINED YOUR FEELINGS ON HER DEMANDING HER WINE AS SOON AS SHE SAW YOU AT YOUR PARTY. SHE PRACTICALLY JUMPED YOU FOR IT!!! SHE JUST DOESN'T SEE HERSELF AS SHE REALLY IS THIS SEASON. I ALMOST FEEL EMBARRASSED FOR HER. AS FAR AS SONJA GOES, I REALLY LIKED HER LAST YEAR, BUT NOT SO MUCH THIS SEASON. SHE'S ANOTHER ONE WHO DOESN'T LISTEN, TALKS OVER PEOPLE (THAT'S WHY SHE COULD IMITATE RAMONA SO WELL) AND BROUGHT UP THE NOTION OF A "PECKING ORDER." OH MY.... JUST HANG IN THERE! YOU'RE DOING A GREAT JOB WITH THIS BUNCH!
You are the walking definition of loyalty and friendship; too bad that is the antithesis of the series.
Hi Ladies, Thought I’d write a little something for everyone:
Jill: So glad you’re back. Love your attitude and genuine intention to “do the right thing”. Hope this season is a much happier one for you.
LuAnn: What can I say, as always, you are elegant and lovely.
Ramona: Oy, Ramona. Such a complex woman you are! You can be so endearing and yet so very very RUDE and disrespectful. Whether or not Cindy promised you your Pinot, a gracious lady would not barge into the party, demand her drink, criticize the horse riding and attempt to make a scene. You’re just ridiculous at times and it’s such a shame.
Sonya: You are a pisser sometimes! But, there are other times when the claws are coming out, which is new. Cindy’s intention was purely for the sake of sparing Kelly’s children a scene involving their mother. Ramona is unpredictable and holds no punches, even if children are present (refer to a previous season where she commented on Luann’s ex-husband’s age in front of her daughter). And as for dancing with your “staff”…..it is far more rude to refer to them as lowly staff then to dance in a playful, friendly way with someone.
Cindy: Open your mouth!! I can’t believe the way you sat and didn’t respond to Sonya’s teach lecture or Ramona’s rude tirade about how your party disrupted her romantic weekend with her husband!!! You looked like a frightened child. Your reaction at your party with Ramona was appropriate and strong. You need more of that!
Kelly: You seem to be in a very good place, and for that I’m happy!
Alex: Loved the piano scene! Your younger boy (sorry….I’ve forgotten his name!) seemed much more enthused about the piano. He was swaying to the music when he walked in. So cute. You looked very pretty in your scene with Jill and I’m so glad you are willing to work toward peace with her.
That’s all ladies. Happy Mother’s Day
Be gracious. Amen. Love ya Sonja. You have a big heart and more class in your little finger than the countess has in her whole body!!!!!!!!
There is only one Samantha Jones, Sonja, and she is a fictional character. I feel like I don't know who you are anymore and you really seem to have some issues with Cindy because she is all you talk about in your blog.
Sonja, I heard alot about you before you even joined the show, you've been a phenomenal addition to the show! I think that your personality fits in well with the other ladies on the show. You're the peace-maker when its needed, you're the loyal friend, you're the hostess with the most-ess, you're alot of fun and you're sexy, sassy Sonja! Your fans really enjoy watching you from week to week! And your true fans get you, so just keep being you.
I loved your scene with the firefighters - yummy!!! I only wish I was on the field with you and those guys. I have to say I loved you last year and in the episode when you threw Alex out, I was pissed! You are now back to your cool self and I'm loving you even more. I enjoy seeing a woman tell it like it is and boy, you DO! I can't stand people that talk about people behind their back - LuANNE, JILL, KELLY & CINDY, they need to grow up!! Please keep on keeping it real!
Sonja, I loved what you said to Cindy, and how you said it. It is a serious topic but you had good intentions towards Cindy. Cindy seems pretty rough around the edges... she does not really belong in this show. Very negative in her comments and in her actions in my view. Never a good idea to join a new group and then covertly try to stir things up. Sonja I love your attitude and what a great friend you are to Ramona.
Sonja...you are the best! I loved the toaster oven lesson and I also love that you are able to understand that clearly Luanne is spoiled and you are too....and still get along and enjoy yourselves and overlook rude comments. It wasnt appropriate for her to constantly be offering help in YOUR house...that was odd when she knows you have servants too, but you wanted to do this especially for them that day. I also loved loved loved the spot in the show where you gave Cindy the facts! Most ppl wouldnt understand why you said what you did, but there IS a difference in the way things are done in different circles of ppl...no matter how anyone wants to believe. I love it that you nicely called her on her behavior and the pecking order comment was perfect. Cindy tries to come across innocent, but she is always stirring things up and spinning them to make someone else look bad. Why? You were dead on and I loved that you took a stand for your friend and yourself....and your life. Cant wait to see what else happens!
I LOVE YOU !! You told that Cindy one the way it is.... finally someone who has figured her out.I worked for this women for several years, trust me your onto her and do not be letting her off easy .I love how confident you are .Ciny only wishes she could be you.If you need gossip just call me :) keep doing you Sonja you are great .x
I would love if you would really put together a Toaster Oven Cookbook!!!! Any plans to follow through with that??
Sonja, you are too funny. I felt like I was watching a godfather movie with you telling Cindy about the peking order! I just don't understand why you would want to bring Kelly and Ramona together? I think everyone needs to respect when someone say's that they dont care to be friends with someone.
Alex is doing great Sonja is full of herself Cindy is great but needs to stand up to Sonja and Ramona Ramona is on speed and just want to shake her and slap her to settle down and listen what is being said Jill is great also. LuAnn is riding both sides. Kelly is too scattered thoughts and is dramatic
Well said, Jerseymom! I'm definitely on the same page as you, except I wouldn't have been so nice to Alex. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from how she acted last season and I really hope the old, nice Alex comes back.
Love love love watching you!!!
I though Cindy''s "warning" to Kelly was way off base and intended to ingratiate herself with Kelly at the other's ladies expense. I also though that she purposefully didn't have the Pinot Grigio at her party because she was angry with Ramona for the cigar comment to her brother.
I really enjoyed watching you school Cindy on social graces. The pecking order comment was priceless!! No one wants to discuss it, but we all know its there (i.e.. Jill commenting about Alex being out of her league at the Hampton's wedding). Cindy is coming into this reality circle of friends being overly sensitive and ready to throw down with the Queen Bees. OMG!! I can't wait to see whats next!!
And yes you did look amazing in the baseball outfit!!
Sonja, where did you get that sweater cape coat that you wore to lunch with Ramona and Kelly?
Love, love, love the show!
Instead of "respect the pecking order," I think what you meant, and what would have come across more accurately is "don't bite the hand that feeds you." You were right to be direct with her - a less caring person would just watch her fall on her face. Maybe she'll take what you had to say with a grain of salt instead of so personally - otherwise Cindy only has herself to blame if people begin to turn their backs on her and not want to associate with her.
love u Sonja !!! You're the best ! stay the way you are somebody needs to tell the new mean girl her limits ! love u for sticking up for Ramona
You are just so weird. I loved you last season, but I can't figure out who you are this season. I'd be worried about my "staff" cleaning the toilet bowls with my toothbrush after talking about them the way you did when Cindy was dancing with one of them. You're totally rude.
Sonja- You are hysterical! Your impression of Ramona was dead on! I could not stop laughing. And this week, I needed that.... So thanks! I think you are just the best on the show!
I AGREE I AGREE I AGREE!!!!! YES Kelly does look much younger than 42, and YES Kelly has the ability to handle Ramona (but who really wants to).
Too funny! You don't even realize when your insulting someone lol. What was wrong with the way Alex looked before??

I'm a brunette but Team Blonde all the way this season. Ramona, Alex & Sonja are the best!
