-
Because he's handsome
Seriously, we wouldn't know how to feel if our parents were that pretty.
-
Because he doesn't want to crush your game
Rich Wakile understand that his son probably shouldn't be seeing nude photos, however, he's also flattered that his son got them -- and wants to do his best to keep contact with that girl until she's of age. Watch his sage take on the matter again.
-
Because he makes mistakes
Even after year's of estrangement (at the hands of his mother), Reza's dad did his best to apologize and move them forward into a real relationship. And it worked. Watch their touching reunion again.
-
Because he doesn't want you to make the same mistakes
Fredrik's dad wanted to be sure his son doesn't work too hard. That's the kind of thing we like to hear.
-
Because he takes you in as his own
Kroy gets our award for step-dad of the decade.
-
He buys you a car
Chris has always doted on step-daughter Ashley, so when she needed a (another) new car to ensure she made it to her new NYC job he did went ahead and bought it -- even if Jacqueline wasn't really briefed on the situation and Ashely was texting during the entire deal. We'll see if Ashley can keep ahold of the keys this time around, but you have to appreciate the fact Chris is giving her another chance.
-
Because he makes you good at your job
What's a friendly competition between real estate agents?
-
He takes you to the doctor (while conferencing Mom in)
When Peggy's daughter cut more than just the cheese poolside, Poppa Micah rose to the occasion. Not only did he quickly pull the tot from the pool, he took her to the doctor and handled it with ease. Life's always a vacation with Dad around.
-
He knows if something goes wrong with you, it's Mom's fault.
At least that's what Rich says. Of course, he was kidding, but we commend his "contract style" parenting skills -- even if the young Joseph already has plans to rebel.
-
He cleans up your poop
. . .Even when it's on him. Whether or not Apollo is feeding Ayden canned food, Dad can always pull the trump card that once he cleaned up his poop -- off of himself.
-
He takes care of your pets
Or he pretends to be interested. You can't blame Chicago Bulls alum and Real House-dad of Miami Scottie Pippen for not loving reptiles, but he tried for the sake of the kids.
-
He takes you out when Mom's away
While Alex was away, Simon and the chums did play -- with a fun dinner of very adult oysters. Simon even let the boys preach to him about the dangers of cigarettes. That's patience.
-
He knows the improtance of play time
Joe Gorga from The Real Housewives of New Jersey knows that family traditions are great -- but family traditions with mechanical bulls are even better. That's why he decided to add another animal (albeit a faux one) to the Turkey Day festivities.
-
He knows a tomato is enough to distract a baby
When Rosie Pope put client Matt to the test, he was not exactly ready for his bundle of joy to arrive. The stunt baby was a crier and he didn't have anything on hand to lull her into submission -- until he found a lone tomato. The produce was enough to please the child, and Matt developed a pretty strong attachment to baby Micah. We imagine he's doing fine with his real child now, whether or not there are tomatoes on hand.
-
He forgives you
When Naomi Pomeroy had to cook with an amateur she was a little gruff, and when the big revealed happened she was super surprised. She was cooking with her dad. But thankfully, he let it slide. Fathers are forgiving that way.
-
Because he's stylish
Sure Skyler's mom dresses well, but Daddy Berman's no slouch when it comes to fashion.
