Aviva, I too have the exact same amputation and am wondering where and how I go about getting a limb like you have? I lost my limb to cancer two years ago and my prosthetic is horrible, it's ugly and looks nothing like a real leg. I would appreciate any info you might be able to pass on. Thank you!

Aviva, your extremely tasteful, timeless fashion sense is a joy to watch on the show.  I have been scouring the internet to figure out who designed the outfit you wore to lunch at Orsay at the end of Episode One.  It looks to be a fantastically tailored linen short jumpsuit with high neck and short sleeves.  Please do share if you have a moment.  You are a wonderful addition to the RHONY, it definitely needed more vibrant, kind, fun individuals.

So far so good. You seem like a nice person. Your children are beautiful. You definately hit the nail on the head with that awful Ramona. She is Wrongmona. Kudos on being so brave and open with the leg and offering to help a child. Hopefully it will be a nice season.

wow your legs are awesome!!! i to wear a prostetic leg. i am left bk. i use to wear heels in my younger years when i could change my own feet i could allway walk better in heels i to lost my leg when i was 5 back in 1964 so i have seen a lot of chages in my life time. legs are so expense.most people do not realize how much yhe cost

Stop meddling you do not know the story between Luann and Ramona and you are automatically taking sides, Luann is in fact a weekend mother and if it works for her great, but her kids keep geting caught doing things they should not be doing. Luann told Ramona that her husband was cheating on her and she was an alcoholic, don't you think Luann should apologize for that too?

Don't believe LuAnn about Ramona. She never threatened her or her children. She is just mad that Ramona said she is a part time mom... Heather would not let anyone get a word in edgewise.....saying....ya,ya,ya,ya,ya. what's with that? I thought you and your family were lovely.

Aviva, I think you are amazing and I need to know more about your leg. I am 42, a single mother of 3, and lost my leg June 3rd of last year due to complications with chemotherapy. It has been the hardest year of my life. One of the things I used to love were my shoes. I had great shoes. I donated them all to Goodwill and now survive on a pair of green sneakers and black flats. I see that you wear great boots and shoes of all heights. I tried an adjustable heel but walk like frankenstein so opt for my leg with no ability to wear heals or "sexy" shoes. Can you have someone send me some specifics about your prosthesis and then maybe I can ask my prothesist about it. Warm regards, alissa

And it's says a lot that you get how bad mouthing someone's kids should be off limits! I loved the way you spoke up for Heather!! You're right by the way, others only put someone down to feel taller. I think it's best for you to keep your nose out of the Luanne/Ramona drama if you're going to talk about it without stating the facts. Fact is, Luanne has spent many seasons insulting Ramona and the other housewives first and has hit below the belt many times.

Aviva, did you see Heather at Ramona's house? Mario couldn't get a word in edgewise. She was awful. I'm not sure if she does it on purpose or it's just because she's nervous. Either way, it has to change. Nobody will want to have a converstaion with her if she continues to try to dominate the whole thing.

As far as the kids, yes there are off limits. But that was last season and most of us are glad last season is over. New season, stop bringing up crap that didn't matter during the last one.

Love how you brought your leg to get a pedicure. You did it without batting an eye and Sonja was great about it. Felt totally comfortable and not out of the ordinary at all.

Ramona is not exactly a mean girl per se - just totally incapable of owning hurtful behavior and self absorbed.

I like you and your demeanor so far, but please don't get sucked in too soon by the Countess. She really has a way of making everything about herself, and you're better off steering clear. Talk about childish games! Best of luck on the show! We needed some new faces!

Hi Aviva, Really enjoyed the first episode - & especially your warmth & kindness. It's refreshing to have a "Housewife" one can admire - who is not hawking anything except self-esteem. Your resilience and upbeat personality speak volumes about how to deal with all that life can throw in one's path. On another note, you mentioned a less toxic sugar substitute that you use. The only thing that's bugging me right now is your ex husband. I don't think you're quite over him. You have brought him numerous times in this episode.

Liked you on the show..your children are beautiful. As far as jumping on LuAnn's bandwagon against Ramona. Be careful with that. LuAnn isn't innocent in her dealings with Ramona and Sonja. Just be careful before you make a lot of enemies straight out of the gate.

So far you seem very sweet and I can understand why Bravo brought you on board. However, I simply wish the new ladies would wait and establish their own opinions about the other ladies. Don't listen to Luann, she will smile to your face and talk about you behind your back.

AVIVA- I think you're a wonderful addition to this show! You have such a lovely manner with the other women... something which had been sorely lacking. You and Carole are creating such a better vibe! Be careful with regard to LuAnn. She can be quite devious and nasty. I don't know if you watched the previous seasons' shows. In case you haven't, she has been just as confrontational and inappropriate as Ramona... she just does it in a softer spoken way, which doesn't cover up her real intent. She was obviously trying to convince the three of you that Ramona is a bad person, which was a lousy thing to do. Ramona is definitely "flakey", and speaks before she thinks, but she's not a bad person. I hope you enjoyed this experience!

You look just like the blond from The RHof DC. That's a compliment, even though she was kind of a looney tune she is beautiful. You seem nice, just the fact you refrained from speaking ill of your ex-husband. It seemed like you wanted but didn't.

Only the first episode and it already seems like you're playing both sides of the fence. You need to just stay out of it and let Luann and Ramona handle this. Don't be all up in the Kool-Aid if you don't know the flavor.
