Episode 17: Bravotv.com's Editor laments George's ejection from Ramona's party and Sonja's loss of her portrait.

on Sep 24, 20120

Hello New York fans. We’re closing in our final moments in Manhattan this season. But of course before it’s over we’ll have a few more confrontations -- including one between Ramona and George. I didn’t see that coming. Who would have known that a lover like George could also be quite the fighter. Let’s recap.

The Queens of the Runway
We open with George and Aviva on the hunt for their homeopathic meds. George is trying to introduce Aviva to his latest conquest but thankfully his need for libido medications distracts him from describing too much in detail how this latest love looks like an African American Aviva.

However AAA (as I’ll now refer to her) is not the only one in his sites. He’s got plans to email Carole. And I don’t think he’s just going to send her that hilarious "Gangham" Style parody, well even if he does it will include overtures! Of a sexual nature!

But Aviva doesn’t have time to monitor George’s internet usage. She has to jet to help Heather with her charity fashion show. And by help, we mean walk in Heather’s runway show. Yup! Will she have the runway prowess of Ramona Singer? We’ll have to wait and see. . .

Personally, I'd like to see their beef settled with a Zoolander-style walk-off. But personally, that's how I like to see most beefs settled.

--Aviva sending her Father to Ramona's Women Abuse Charity was low class of her, But for him to put hands on any women to make a point " Was Disgusting "" Ramona kindly expressed her appreciation to George for his Donations , As he was trying to Scold and get an Apology from her, This Really Explains why Aviva is obsessed of making an example out of Ramona, While holding on to Grudges........!! And with George condoning Avivas "BEHAVIOR IS SICKENING "" all he's doing is adding more fuel to the fire, While handing his daughter "" A BOOK OF MATCHES!! (They need help) So as a VIEWER GET OVER IT ALREADY?? I'm glad Ramona remove herself from such toxic people, PLEASE PLEASE JILL ZARIN BACK ...BRAVO !! WHOOP WHOOP

It is great that Aviva accepts her father for who he is and realizes she is not responsible for his behavior. As much as he is a great father, he is offensive and obnoxious. Why let him on TV for thousands to see the ugly side of him. I hope before her children get any older she learns not to fight their battles. They become an age (before puberty) that they need to learn to defend themselves in a non threatening respectful manner. So dissapointed, I really admired and liked her until this nonsense. More offensive is the position she put Carole in. If she had any " elegance and manners" she would have just enjoyed herself and kept her mouth shut! She can like or dislike anyone she wants. Just behave like an adult a-d-u-l-t!

I think innocent LuAnn threw gas on the fire in St. Barts.  She should not have thrown Ramona and Sonja under the bus.  I feel she purposely ignited the firestorm that arose.  Aviva, of course,  was dead set on everyone kissing her hubby's feet as soon as she arrived in St. Barts.

Hang a banner?  Come on!  Ramona is over the top, often, but Aviva is a definite piece of work. Aviva is definitely not the person that she portrayed herself to be, when she first appeared on the scene.  Ramona is Ramona and Sonja is Sonja. Who the hell is Aviva? Does anybody know?

I do not agree with men interfering in girl fights. George was out of line and Ramona was right to have him tossed out of there. She asked him nicely not to get involved and asked  him repeatedly to leave after he still chose to demand an apology and accuse her of wronging Aviva. He wasn't even there to witness the fallout with Aviva and Ramona first hand so he really should have kept his opinions of the situation between he and his daughter. Drop off the $500 check and go home.

I also do not like the way George tried to make viewers think they were donating a large amount of money. He and Aviva are both pretentious.

I think Sonja should have simply had the picture shipped back to Mr. Morgan, and not incur the storage charges.  If he wants his daughter to have it, he can save it for her.  It is not longer Sonja's responsibility to gild his image.  As for her portrait...back on the wall.  It's a great picture and one that her daughter will miss seeing.  My daughter doesn't even want us to paint the house...she likes it as it is.  Chicken satay?  And apparently, not thousands, as he would like people to believe, but according to Ramona and Sonja, $500.

Tired of the "Ravija" conflict.  They just need to be locked in a room and stare at each other

with no alcohol for 10 min and not allowed to talk during those ten minutes.  If they would each allow the other person to finish talking maybe they would understand each other a little better.  And for it to start all over a benefit for abused women was just wrong -- the benefit is for women who really have problems as opposed to the three blondes who are fighting over

nothing worth fighting over.   Every one has a different take about the argument and what is about -- just get over it and move on!

Sonja has more class than me. because that painting would have been an excuse for a party and big ole BONFIRE! Her Ex by the way is one of the people that has robbed many of us of our retirement with their 'Hedgefunds'! Sonja honey his money is blood money and You would live a better Karma Free life without it! No matter what any Housewife, ex lover or viagra fueled old 'dog' says about you, you are a beautiful person that has so much more in life to live for than a washed up old man that is headed straight into hell the day he dies!

Hold your head up high 'words can not hurt you'!

TOAST ON!

Phleeze!!!! Stop that Aviva. I can't stand it anymore. Funny Aviva ambushes her prey, Sonja and Ramona, only when the other ladies are no where to be seen. Doesn't Heather and Carole watch the show? Then should see Aviva's fangs! No more Aviva!

Aviva could have avoided having her father "rattled and embarrassed" by mailing the checks and not sending him there.  It's always kind and generous to donate to worthy causes but I think that was only a way in - who demands an apology? Wouldn't you want a genuine, non arm-grabbing and unforced apology? I know I would! Ramona and Aviva both should apologize for the name calling and what have you - and then... GET OVER IT! Aviva overreacted, Ramona got Ramotional, Sonya turned a corner and doesn't need new friends.  End of story.

I think it was very nice of Aviva to have sent a check to the charity for abuse people ( not only are women abused).  I think her father should of walked in ask where to place the check and left.  It was very rude of Ramona to ask him to take the money back.  She should of just said to George  thank Aviva for me and thanks for stopping by and walked him out. These women always pick public places to have these fights and it is very unbecoming to them.  I guess it is always hard to see ourseleves.  Ramona always get loud and in peoples face.  I wouldn't like for her to get that close to my face.  AND YES they drink way too much.  I also thought it was rude of George to make the comment that they gave the most money.   They sometime are all around rude.  I offen think to myself I am glad I don't have the money they do if it means you are a rude person.  Maybe Ramona is this way cause of being abused as a child and we understand why Aviva has the issues she has for what she went through as a child and lives with everyday.   And I do agree that Aviva talks alot about her issues, we all have things we have gone through in our lives that have effected us, but you don't talk about it all the time.  Yes explain it to people if you can't fly or don't like to fly and go on with life.  Don't keep harping on it.  I understand that a lot of this is for TV drama, but after awhile it gets to the point where you just get tried of it....

George did not belong at an all female event.

It was not simply a "party,: as he characterized it on the show and as Aviva characterized it in her blog. It was charity fashion show.  There was an agenda and a schedule to be adhered to because guests at that kind of event don't stay indefinitely.

He showed up distracting and upsetting the host in charge of executing that agenda and schedule.

As a male, he did not belong there in the first place, a tender subject, given what had occurred on St. Barth's during what was supposed to be an all female trip.  (Aviva's claim in the confessional that it never occurred to her to mail the check is simply not plausible.   She send Daddy,  knowing full well what kind of event it was and what he is like.)

However, he was not asked to leave immediately.  While there, though, his behavior was totally inappropriate, which seems to be a hallmark of his behavior and his daughter's.   Therefore, he was quietly and politely asked to leave under his own steam--and more than once. He was also asked to unhand Ramona more than once.

He ignored every request made of him, not a good sign for a man who seems to make a career of being inappropriately aggressive with women, even when his advances and touching is obviously unwelcome.  He seems to have no boundaries whatever.  (Among other things, how many remarks has he made so far in his relatively brief appearances that indicate he may have a totally inappropriate attraction to his daughter?)

Calling security was therefore entirely appropriate. And even after that, he stopped to hit on Carol, so he was taken away from the event.

Characterizing what occurred as being thrown out of a party only shows that he and his daughter still just don't get it.   Both are excellent examples that "Money can't buy you class."  Or even the most basic social proprieties.

Ramona, please know that us trailer trash here in Oregon LOVE you and Sonja. You two are the only reason we watch the show. This group has got to go..we need a do over on casting.

Hang in there GF, I've got to believe Aviva will not be back. Not if Bravo ha any brains.

George was totally wrong. He should never have gone to the gathering and he certainly should not have approached Ramona in that matter, in that setting.  He was disgraceful.

@kelly_nicole Yeah! And Aviva really wants an apology for them saying it was a "girl's only vacation" and Ramona want's Aviva to admit that she needs Reid AND to say it was just for girls! (when it was neither.. it was a chance for Carole to meet up with Russ! LOL)  Aviva and Ramona are just alike. Once they get upset about something they're like two dogs with a bone... neither one will let go! They keep accusing each other of talking behind their backs! LOL It's all they do... they're totally obsessed with each other. Honestly, I'd be happy if Aviva, Sonja, and Ramona were gone next season. Carole and Heather could carry RHONY with a few of THEIR own good friends.

Bravo should start a separate show with all of the bitter housewives from all of the shows and call it "Extremely Angry and Biatchy Housewives Who Wish They were Rich". They can add NeNe, Tamra, Vickie, Theresa, etc. to that mix.

 @Itokagi23

People have a right to wear fur. What is right for you may not be a big deal for someone else. You don't have a right to nail Heather or anyone else to the cross for wearing fur.

@betterwife  @kelly_nicole - LOL Kelly. Seriously though, could you imagine how boring that show would be without Ramoana & Moanja & Aviva? It was hard for me to keep up with it this year because some parts were so boring and slow. It is so hard for me to watch Ramoana because of her psycho eyes, but it's like I can't look away. Everything else you said makes complete sense & I agree :)
