Trilogies are tricky things. How do you keep the momentum going for three solid editions? How can each installment be better than the last? Is it humanly possible to have three perfect installments that are all as splendid apart as they are as a whole?
Not the case with the gals’ trip to St. Barths. Every instant of this trip was jam-packed with action, topless ‘Wives, pirate lookalikes, comments on the attitude owning a private island gives you, suckerfish pedicures, and ridiculousness of such high levels that I secretly wished the women would never return home. Could something happen that would force them to stay on this island for a thousand years? Because it’s really a whole lot of fun to watch.
We open with a psychology lesson from Ramona Singer -- men change dynamics. She sees you munching on blueberries Reid Drescher and Russ Irwin. She knows what you’re up to. However there is something Ramona, the armchair psychologist, doesn’t know -- what is white trash?
“Welcome to my trailer, Hello, I can have a good time.”
On the reunion show......
Really hope to see Andy put Luann on the spot about Tomas and her being the first to say Reid being there would change the dynamic of the trip, inciting Aviva, then denying it.
Then to ask Aviva why she went ballistic on Ramonja and did not get mad at Luann
Ramona: Jacques, her live-in lover (referring to LuAnne)
Ramona: She went all Jack Nicholson on me (referring to Aviva)
Sonja: Return to Sender
Sonja: I have turned a corner, I don't need any new friends
LuAnne: My Italian friends (10x)
LuAnne: I'm an Indian, dont F with me (at Le Ti)
Almost forgot my favorite scene of the season: caaaaalllllmmmm dowwwnnnn!! hahahaha I laugh every single time I see it. Now that I know why, I cannot blame her at all for saying it. So funny.....
Agreed, Aviva is just too much. And don't even get me started on that father of hers. They should show those episodes to young women so they can learn how to fend off the lech's they will most certainly encounter in their lifetime. The Planet of the Apes comparison meant this to me: that Aviva was from another world, bizarro world. My take anyway.
I don't get when clearly Bethenny from RHONY and Lisa from RHOBH are the fav and Jill and Kelly were the less interesting or even painful to watch, why would bravo think bringing another judgmental, self-centered character like Aviva can be interesting? Get rid of her pleasssee.
Ramona & Sonja are the most entertaining couple on TV!!! They are naturals!! If that is white trash then white trash is fun and makes me laugh!! Aviva has some serious issues.
100 % Ditto! I'd like to add this: Throwing a tantrum and Calling someone
"White Trash" is also indicative of being white trash yourself!!
Where would we be without Google? I couldn't believe they actually looked it up. My daughter and I laughed until we had tears in our eyes. I love watching Sonja flirt with the chef. And I might be wrong, but did Aviva stand at he counter and say "So we are supposed to be going over dinner plans and there's nobody here" to someone she knows isn't invited? And when Sonja is telling her about dinner plans, she cozily says " But Carol and I have a double date with Russ and Reid and the plans are already made". Then why is she asking? Seems to me like she was just poking Sonja with a stick. Then when things get heated she bellows, "Change your tone!" I'm probably sure my tone would of changed to that of a drunken sailor (no insult meant to sailors who drink). ;)
I loved Luann saying over and over how she invited 'Italians' home and then seeing the phone call she made to her friend to cover up her rendevous with Tomas. Heather breaking her nose and being so gracious about it. Ramona's and Sonja's friendship. Reading Carole's blogs. And if we never see Aviva again that will be great by me; that chic is mean!
the ramonja team is PRICELESS! Sonja dida great job handling herself while miss aviva really hit WAAAAAY below the belt with her..".married an old man" comment. For all Ramona and Sonja put up with, (and they DID get a lot undeservedly dished at them) I would say they actually did the better job of reactionary behavior than their counterparts. Ramona getting the runs...then being all worked up over her passport....LOL LOL Sonja's sign language...LOL if it wasn't for those two I would have changed the channel..oh.and lets not forget lulu's staged "what is going on???" face!!
So disappointed in Carole siding with Aviva not only on the show but on her blog here. Out of one side of her mouth she criticizes LuAnn for calling herself a Countess, then on the other side condones and supports Aviva thinking that because she's better educated, prettier and richer than everyone else that she has a right to treat people poorly. Can Carole really not see how Aviva is manipulating her by flattering her constantly? Is Carole's ego really in that much need of a boost? From their very first meeting, Aviva was fawning over her. Kind of pity Carole that she needs that sort of friend.
Completely agree with you - especially about Carole and Aviva. (Came across a RHONY article mapping out the wealth and where it came from).
The funny thing about Aviva is that the majority of her wealth comes from Reid. Remember that smug comment about Sonja's marriage? What a hypocrite.
Carole, who is the wealthiest, of course she inherited her late husbands estate, and her title and Kennedy connections come from him as well. Her cousins that she is referring to are by marriage.
Carole really disappointed me by leaving Ramonja to fend for themselves - she was the host! She should grow a backbone and not allow Aviva's meltdown to be pointed at the two women. Why would she do that? Do the two wealthiest housewives follow the 1% rule, meaning they stick together no matter what? They are turning out to be really uptight and whiny.
When Ramona told everyone she had diarrhea and Sonja said "that is white trash, I looked it up." They are a comedy team and the show would be boring without them.
I want to get white trash wasted, Gangnam style, with Ramonja!! I'd rather be on a girls vacation than tolerate the couples and their holier than thou, hypocritical antics. The only people who were any fun whatsoever were Ramona and Sonja. Give those girls a prize - they even managed to make Heather and Luanne feel relaxed enough to cut loose.
Sonja was hilarious!
"It's not over until the fat lady sings......Here I am!"
"You can be nice when you are a Hillbilly....Welcome to my trailer. Hello"
"I'll pet her like I did with Kelly. I do that to you and you still wake up all p...ed off"
When Ramona told everyone she was having diarrhea "That is white trash, I looked it up."
Her introduction to Russ was so funny. Her openness about her past with her husband(Aviva is so wrong in saying Sonja was married for money) It is obvious Sonja is still hurt over losing her husband's affection and companionship. Her dancing with abandon and giggling with Ramona. Her sincere friendship with Ramona and how she told Luann "I am not letting you pin this on her!"
Sonja is fun and adorable. I will re-watch just to see her scenes.
I loved the scenery. LuAnn's lobster looked really good. Carole kissing her boyfriend as if he were her brother.
Ramona yelling "Calm down, take your xanax." Sonja pirouetting and trying to calm Aviva as she walks around in Ramona's purple dress. Hungover LuAnn who comes in dressed to the nines in her denim shorts and heels. Heather who gets mad at everyone and just walks away and goes to lay on the beach. Carole when she walks she always looks like she is floating. Aviva yelling all the time.
I love the fact that the "perennial perfect princess" that is Aviva finally
showed her true claws and let us all see how un-nice she really is!!
