So, off we go to lunch and no time was wasted getting into it. Aviva again with her pleading for attention and desire for accolades for flying to St. Barths, it was exhausting! Where is the cool Aviva? COME BACK! The Samonja didn’t stop either with the hen pecking. The continuous reliving of the flight on the small plane sends Carole into a painful recollection of John and Caroline's devastating crash -- one that was felt around the world. And simply, just where are everyone’s manners today? I am an easy going girl when it comes to etiquette, (notice my potty mouth at the table), but this is ridiculous. Ladies, let’s just sit down and eat!?
Finally, I get up too and find Carole and Aviva getting pedicures instead of getting this lunch on already and discussing said “double date.” And at this point I am ready to throw in the towel. Rather than stick around and scream, I am out. I literally WALK home, grab my book and a towel, and go to the beach to do me, and just chillax!
Carole is always included in my plans when Russ is out of town and I am always considerate that he is often on the road. But I have had enough of this crazy tail chasing everyone is doing. I am not going to participate in this foolish game of musical chairs or any further shouting matches. I am making my point clear by opting out and it feels right to me. When Carole does come down to Saline Beach to check in on me, I am happy. I don't like to hold onto anger and especially now with Carole. A little “adult time out” with just the two of us and a yummie seawater swim really did the trick.
I just love you, Heather! The countess can learn from you! What happened to the Aviva that took up for Ramona over the wine tasting incident??
Heather, you seem like a really nice person but why does it bother you so about LuAnn and the so called Italians. It really is none of your business and you need to let it go. It is up to LuAnn to tell her boyfriend what really happened.
Heather, I admire you a lot. A tolerant, self-made lady who is not afraid to express her feelings. Thank you for setting a good example for the rest of us.
you are a great addition to the show! Its great to see a successful woman like you on the show! Im sorry about the confrontations that you have had with ramona. I hope your relationship with her gets better because you two seemed to be getting along in St. Barts and i was happy to see that. i hope to see you in the next seasons to come! You are a real sweetheart!
Heather- you are definitely the Queen of Diplomacy, good job. Stick with Carole- you two are my favorite "two-some"
You rock- love your spirit and amazing talent that you bring to the show. I hope you and Carol stay on!!! :)
Heather, Over this season, you have become my favorite housewife. You are kind, considerate and forgiving (i.e. RaMOANa's nonsensical cat fights with you). I really like your positive attitude and generous spirit. xo.
Heather, I am still on the fence about you. Sometimes you seem prententious when it omes to Sonja and Ramona(carole and Aviva do the same). But there are times you "appear" campassionate. I think it was wrong of you to tell Aviva and Carole about the men LuAnn and Sonja brought to the house thus giving Aviva ammunition against Sonja and thus adding to Aviva's craziness. You know what? I'm no loger on the fence. You, like Aviva and probably Carole think that you are better than the rest of the Ladies. You especially added to the drama with LuAnn indicating that you couldn't go along with the 'group of Italans" LuAnn was talking about. It was none of our business and you added o the drama.
Heather, I am so glad you are on the show. I believe you are a genuinely warm and sincere person and you do the best you can to deal with the craziness around you. You are the true royalty on the show!
I do like you and Carole on the show, but not so much Aviva. She'll have to get cut. I like it how you & Ramona fight, even though I'm sure it's exhausting to you, it sometimes gets exhausting to me as a viewer, but it's very funny how you keep giving it back to her, lol!
I'm afraid this is a left-handed compliment. After the first few weeks Heather started to get to me, her "hola" and other affectations really grated on me. However, these episodes vacation showed her to be good natured, honest, and more mature than almost any of the housewives in the franchises. Even her reaction to the double date was controlled. I hope to see more of this calmer, cooler Heather.
Heather, you were very level headed on this trip. You surprised me, you bonded with Ramona and I didn't expect that. More than that, you were very nice about her and complimented her and I think the two of you will be fine from now on so that is cool.
The only good thing about this vacation besides seeing the beautiful island is getting to appreciate you and see your level headed, live-and-let-live attitude. Yes, that couples dinner was just riduculous. I know Carole is trying to make everyone happy and if Aviva had not shown up with her problems, Carole would simply had gone out with all of you and Russ or just disappear a bit with Russ. You and your family bent over backward to respect the girl's trip thing (it's always hard on the family with mom or dad are gone) and Aviva and Carole didn't show the same effort at all, although I think Carole did everything in her power to try to make others happy but it just was beyond her control with nutty Aviva there. I am glad you are on the show and I think next season will be more fun. Looks like you and Carole have a nice new friendship going, very cool.
I had stopped watching RHONY a few years ago because I just couldn't relate to any of the women on the show. I didn't understand the way they thought or the reasons behind why they treated each other the way they did.
A few weeks ago I caught an episode of the new season and I immediately perked up, because you and Carole seemed so intelligent, sane and gutsy.
You've really added some clout and class to a show that I thought stood for the exact opposite.
Heather, I have never seen a group of women who are supposedly the upper crust of New York society act like immature, self centered, nasty, classless people with the exception of you and Carole. Luann also was not too bad on this trip but she does have some moments where you question her actions. These women who are supposedly successful " businesswomen " can't go to any social function without fighting, screaming at each other and generally acting like immature school girls. If this is how people with money act, I will stay my middle class self . You have been classy and real from the start, down to earth and sane, keep it up!
Yay for you Heather!!:) you are awesome and level-headed, you kept your cool during the trip but stood up for yourself when needed. Please don't change or let these crazy women bring you to their level, keep up the good work.
When you said about Sonja's Nipples & Vagina (You didn't know whether to feed or pet them I laughed out loud. That was so funny you have a great sense of humor. Stay the way you are you are truthful and funny..... Love you
Kudos to you Heather for being a strong person in dealing with Ramona. Strong relationships can sometimes be developed with people who are opposites from you. You may agree to disagree but when you peel back the onion with each woman, we all have the same vulnerabilities; it's all about how you handle it and who you can handle it with. I love you and love Ramona! Thank you for being such a strong and real woman in this episode. It showed you can overcome adversity, it's ok for some downtime, and it's ok to let loose! I would love to see you back the next season!!
Heather, you're a class act. I'm a big fan of your direct communication style, delivered in calm, measured tones and NOT in attack mode. You seem like a lot of fun, too, a perfect girlfriend to hang with and enjoy a girls' vacation. I hope you return next season. It's a pleasure getting to know you on the show!
I new you would def. be a new favorite from the first show. You stand up for yourself and you stay out of others arguments! You couldve easily sided with Aviva because of how Ramona treated you at first, but instead you stayed out of it and tried to make everyone else have a good time! You had every right to be upset that a double date thing was going on ecspecially since you had to hear about it from the other ladies. Im sure you will get invited to many more trips! Oh and by the way, loved the fact you didnt invite Ramona on your trip, you showed that you were real and not going to invite someone that is being ugly to you (at the time). Im guessing Carole might be a little more selective on who she invites on her trips from now on :)
After the St. Barths trip, Heather, you are my new favorite. No emotional breakdowns. No drama. You are the only one who acts consistently like a sane person!
Thank GOODNESS there is Heather! For reals! You keep it real and we like that. I'd want you on my team, girlie. I hope Bravo brings you and Carole back for another season.
Take care and hope to see ya next season!
Okay, I officially love Heather. It's funny how just being a nice person is so popular with the viewers.
It's taken me until this episode to figure out who you are and understand your personality. I have to say after this trip, I really like you.
I knew it, you were my favorite fromthe beginning, so classy, so well mannered and so true to your colors, you walk the talk or talk the walk, true to your thoughts. When you were firm about not inviting ramona and not letting the group pressure do otherwise, right there you had me.
And when you helped Sonja who by the way i thought in that moment was so cheapy, demanding, when it was not costing her a penny, that is something was never cleared and to have the guts to make comments about you, that was not nice. I like you cause you dress up so pretty, and always in a good disposition for everything, sincere, humble, nice, well mannered, finally Aviva was seen as she is, I didnt like it when she called you undefendable, when she created the whole situation with Ramona-Mario=yourself. She is an instigator, not Luann.
I like you and Luann the best.
Wish the best for you and your family, pls come back next season, and pls do not change, dont copy Aviva, ever!! she is out.
Loved how you handled the situation on this trip... I really do like you the best of all the ladies... hope you never change.
Heather -- I am glad Bravo cast you on RHONY, but please stop with the "Holla!" stuff. It's nerve grating and it is sooooo 1994.
I adore you. You are such a good example of how a woman should behave, in business and in personal life. You are never catty, you are always honest, warm, charming and kind.
You were so generous to Sonja to help her with her toaster oven, it really disappointed me to see the trouble that it brought you. No good deed goes unpunished. I think she was so used to farting around on the freaking toaster and party planning thing, that when you actually got down to business, she didn't know what the heck was going on. She came to you looking for advice, and you went out of your way to set it all up for her. I don't think she knows how businesses work, I think it was just an idea floating around in her head. That is why she didn't understand that she was agreeing to a logo, but things don't get done when you just sit around talking about them all day. Ramona is supposedly a strong business woman, but SHE never took the time to do an ounce of what you did for Sonja, and then they both criticized you for it!
I can't imagine how Ramona can continue to conduct business with people seeing how she behaves. It amazes me that anyone would want anything to do with her, she is such a liability. She makes for good TV, but it scares me that she is a real person out in the world, voting and interacting with people.
I love you, and I love Yummie Tummie. I'm not someone who really needs shapeware, but I got one of your undergarments for an upcoming wedding and it is so comfortable and flattering. The dress I am wearing is pretty clingy, but there are no seams and I look like me, but better. Thank you for using your talent and work ethic to make a positive impact on women's lives, even if it is something as simple as shapeware.
It took me a while to warm up to you, but with each episode I keep liking you better and better. I do believe you are becoming my favorite housewife - hope to see you return for another season.
Why would you have invited Ramona ....she made it clear she didn't like you ...so why would you invite someone you don't like and doesn't like you on your trip....she was just mad cause she didn't get another free ride to make demands and face time...Good for you not inviting her...Have fun on the show but don't let the crazy people bring out the worst in you before its over.....they can make themselves look bad all on their own....Aviva is a perfect example shes letting Ramonja get the best of her and now she's the one looking like the freak....Love Carol....Luann-I have never seen somebody be so under-handed and sneaky but in the most polite way ever hehehe so shes bearable! The only likeable thing about Ramona is her husbands blindness to his self-absorbed wife....The only likable thing about Sonja is her toaster oven because I like toaster ovens in general all brands hehehe! HOLLA
I have to say, I'm no major Ramona supporter, but watching the vicious and hateful attacks on them during the vacation was painful. I had to change the channel. I have a ten year old BEAUTIFUL daughter that gets bullied at school and it has drastically reduced her self esteem. It breaks my heart to see that happen to a child but it's also horrible to watch it happen to grown women. Ramona was never very nice to you in the beginning and I hated watching her dramatic episodes with you. But you never called her trash, fat, old, etc which says a lot about the strong and admirable person you are. Aviva maintained a condescending and hateful tone with them the ENTIRE weekend simply because she didn't feel as "welcomed" as she'd anticipated. I hope she's ashamed of her actions but I doubt she is remorseful at all. I think she is just embarrassed to have it on national tv.
So thank you for calling Aviva out. I hope at the reunion this horrible weekend of hate-filled arguments and name calling is brought up and Aviva is held accountable.
i love your personality. You seem to not let things bother you so much that you cannot have a good time. I also have to say that you seem like a true friend because it seems that even though you are friends with aviva you still put her in her place and tell her enough is enough that is what a true friend should do. This may be why you do not have very many girlfriends not all women can handle the truth and sometimes they rather you just tell them what they want to hear. I think you are very real and refreshing and just remember when it comes to friendships its about quality not quantity, your great girly.
@WifeNoMo I am also on the fence regarding Heather. But I think she is just trying to win a positive audience. And that is so very, very phony! Do NOT trust her at all!
@WifeNoMo Carole and Heather are not pretentious and they are more adult than the other ladies. They do not seek the drama. It is human nature to discuss all the shenanigans on a Girls trip......that's why it's fun.
@WifeNoMo I totally agree.where is the strength? afraid to go against Aviva and Carole ..they were rude and selfish the whole trip
@amyw1968 ya. right
@aljl77 Actually, at one point she admits she feels like crying from feeling left out. But, I really admired her honesty about it. There's a way to be an emotional person but not be an insane mess.
@CookieCookie I can't stand the Holla either but it makes me laugh more than annoy me.
@freida My thoughts exactly. I didn't like Heather from the start because she didn't invite Ramona on the trip to London. I thought that was insensitive and deliberately mean. Since then I've come to see she's not a mean girl so I've let it go.
