A Walk in the Park
LuAnn feels the talk with Ramona went as well as one could expect.
Welcome back my friends! As you can see after watching this episode, it wasn't the usual "walk in the park" for me!
Overall, I thought my talk with Ramona went as well as could be expected -- since she feels that she didn't threaten me and I know what I heard on the phone that day, even if she denies it.
It's a case of "she said, she said." I'd wanted to clear the air with Ramona and move forward, and, in the end, I decided to put this behind me although I do feel that I made a deal with devil.
I was surprised that Aviva felt the need to fib about how I shared Ramona's threats to me with the girls.
As for the comments about my singing career, I've always said that singing for me is something I enjoy, but I'm not a professional -- just an enthusiast. I've loved to sing since I was a little girl, and I had a lot of fun recording "Money Can't Buy You Class" and "Chic C'est La Vie." Once again, Ramona lashes out at me with anything she can. Also, as any mother can attest, I do work, it's not easy raising two teenagers!
You'd think coming from a French family that Noel would find French class a breeze but that's not the case, unfortunately. As anyone who's studied a foreign language knows, there is a lot more to it than just conversation. Conjugating verbs and translating passages challenge Noel, and he's getting extra help after school to improve his grades. Jacques is so great with Noel, and he is more receptive to advice from Jacques than from me!
I admire Sonja's work with the LGBT community (a cause I support as well), and she shouldn't be blamed for arriving late to the stage because no one came and got her from the green room. Of course, Sonja took it in stride and decided to not let the mishap ruin her evening of dancing with drag queens!
Until next week, bisous!
