Big Girls Don't Cry

LuAnn discusses Aviva's role in the middle, acupuncture, and Carole's title.

By Luann de Lesseps

Welcome back to my blog. Thanks for watching and for all your comments, I read them all! I wish you a Happy Fourth of July and hope that you get to relax and spend time with family and friends.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

My experience with acupuncture was really pleasant. It looks more painful that it actually is. You can feel a calming energy emanating from the needles and the acupuncturist was really professional and encouraging. Now, let's see what happens.

I'm not against IVF in general but Jacques and I have decided to go the holistic route. I don't want to inject hormones into my body or have fertilized embryos implanted just yet; instead, I'm using vitamins, acupuncture ,and other naturopathic approaches. Jacques and I are very much in love and we continue to try the "old fashioned" way!!

I admire that Heather is standing her ground and deciding for herself whether or not to invite Ramona to London. She has every right to invite whom she likes and to have a fun girls trip without the constant pressure of appeasing Ramona. Heather is very independent and secure with herself and she has plenty of friends who love her and make her happy. I think Sonja summed it up best when she said, "you can't always be invited to the birthday party."

Aviva's attempt at making peace between Ramona and Heather was admirable, but they are big girls and can work out their differences (or not) without Aviva's well-intentioned assistance. Aviva is truly a nice person and I admire her willingness to step into the fray, but I'm not surprised that both girls threw her under the bus for trying.

I respect Carole's title even if she chooses not to use it. To use or not to use a title is an individual decision.

Princess Carole

Heather's worked in the fashion and entertainment industries for years and knows a lot of top stylists including her friends at Curve. I wasn't surprised that Ramona dissed the boutique and the clothing, nor was I shocked that she got into it with Heather even though Heather extended an olive branch by including her. As for Ramona trying to one-up Carole's news about her new book being made into a television show by sharing that Ramona Pinot was going to be sold in Target, what can I say. . .tacky.

Until next week, bisous!
