I hope you don't mind but I'm going to start using, "I was with my Italian friends," at every opportunity -- very funny stuff.
We are back from St. Barth's and I’m so glad to be in New York City with Jacques and my family!
I wasn’t surprised that Sonja and Ramona were upset about what Aviva said especially the painful parts but I believe in moving forward in life and I hope Sonja and Ramona forgive Aviva for her angry outbursts. Aviva has apologized to both girls for what she said but she still hasn’t really moved on. To me, it would be better for Ramona and Sonja to forgive Aviva even if they can’t forget the things she said rather than waste time going over and over the situation at parties where they should be enjoying themselves.
I was surprised to hear that Aviva was a runaway bride. She’s a lot stronger than she seems. It’s better to end an engagement than to marry the wrong person and get divorced shortly after the wedding even if she inconvenienced a lot of people.
I appreciate Heather’s concern about the Jacques situation but she needn’t worry about us. I called Jacques from St. Barths the day after I got a ride home from Tomas and explained everything. He trusts me and knows that I would never do anything to hurt our relationship. My relationship with Jacques is private and how we work things out shouldn’t concern the other girls.
I hope you don't mind but I'm going to start using, "I was with my Italian friends," at every opportunity -- very funny stuff.
LuAnn, I understand why you want everyone to move forward from St. Bart's. You would not want Jacques to find out that you did the dirty deed with Tomas, the infamous pirate boy - aged 29. I don't think Carole and Heather told Aviva about your one night stand. If they had, you can be sure she would treat you like dirt as she does with Sonja and Ramona.
what show are YOU watching? Just have to throw Ramona under the bus! It is Aviva that is wrong here and going on & on & then continuing more nonsense with Ramona. That's not an apology. As Mother Teresa said, "When we spend time judging others, we don't have time to love them". Aviva needs to stop judging and get down off her high horse!!
Aviva needs to let it go...her harping on the trip because her feelings were hurt is ridiculous...She wanted a party for having anxiety..the last thing that needs to happen is for her to be applauded for not getting help...
I guess Jack from Brooklyn will not mind your liason with the "Italians", as long as he can
advertise his business on Bravo. You are both of a kind. Keep the good work Lu
You would never forgive adiva if she said that to you. Thomas does not look like depp he looks like the hamburglar. I would love to stop the st barths thing if adiva would shutip i am sick of her rammbling.
Bonjour LuAnn: Wow what can I say; you are for me the most attractive of the housewives, looks, personality, height and a way to be the politician of the group. You can go with the flow, but you can stand your ground when necessary. What ever happened in St. Barth should stay in St. Barths, my only suggestion, the next time use your head, even if nothing happened just the way things went down gave the impression that something happened and when you lied about it, oh my it seemed even more that something happened. I know you think you are fully cooked but take this advice from an old guy like me, lying will always bring you down. It is better to face the truth right away then a lie that may get you through the day, but will destroy you later. Your friend Heather seems level headed and she seems also trustworthy, tell her the truth always and see what happens. "The truth will set you free". Yes, I agree relationships are private, but when you place blockage relating to that relationship in public; that public will always respond. Hunter
I think Aviva is the one who needs to let things go... not Ramona and Sonja... are we watching the same show?
LuAnn, Everyone can drop what happened in St. Barths when you drop "acting" like you're classy! Seriously, the gig is up!
I highly doubt you would be able to forgive A for her foul mouth and unwarranted insults so quickly. It seems there must be a reason why you weren't also a target (perhaps you were the one who leaked info to her prior to her arrival). After all, you did say that the dynamics would definitely change and didn't shoot down the idea of suggesting he stay elsewhere. In fact you suggested that it was Carole's place to do so. You also suggested that perhaps someone should just ask him "so, where are you staying?" Admit it, you stirred up the pot to redirect the attention off of your behavior with the Depp wanna be.
I don't think that Aviva needs to forgive anyone for what happened in St. Barts, I think she should be begging everyone to forgive her. Then she would treat everyone to a girl's weekend and to make sure everyone has a great time, Aviva should stay home and let them enjoy the vaction without her.
LuAnn, Why must you ALWAYS be SWITZERLAND ? I would have more respect for you if you took a stance and stood by it.
I'm curious. After seeing all the backlash against Aviva and not Ramona or Sonja, do you have any remorse for delibertly causing this situation? Any at all?
I wish that you would have stood up to Aviva during her repeated UNGRACIOUS attacks against Ramona and Sonja. As the Hostess, Carole should have done it, but she does'nt have the backbone. However, we have all seen you "stand up" to ungracious behavior in past episodes...you should have done it this time. What a horrifying mess to watch. Everyone claims to be so concerned for Sonja, yet no one stopped Aviva from attacking her. Someone should have stopped it. Maybe next time...
After the incidence with the "Italian Friends" your demeanor changed on the show and you were mostly quiet. Gives me a feeling that you are guilty. But then again I don't think Heather should be making this her concern or her mission to investigate whatever happened. It is a matter that you and Jacque have to work on.
I also noticed that Ramona at first thought it was funny and was pursuing Thomas to get more info out of him, but then she dropped it and didn't really make a big issue of it. She was mad later on, because you didn't own up to the fact that, you too thought Aviva's husbands presence would change the dynamic of the vacation.
I think you need to give Ramona some credit here for not pushing it about your night visitor(s). She may, in the past made remarks on your parenting skills but now I think ,she once again evolved and controlled herself and didn't go where she didn't need to go.
You need to have some restrain towards Ramona too because she is a good person, and she is loyal to her friends.
That whole scenario with the Wine game was so below the belt and was very very vicious. I guess I would call it even with Ramona and start a new page with her because she is a good person.
YOU started the whole Aviva mess by telling her that they didn't want Reid at the house. Why did you feel compelled to do that? How would you like it if Sonja and Ramona felt compelled to tell Jacques that you brought Tomas back to the house for playtime after the club? How would you feel if they told him you then tried to cover it up and lie to everyone and tell them it was a group of Italians? Nobody threw your butt under a bus, but yet, you are always ready to do that to someone else.
I am pleased to see you and Jacques are happy dating and loving each other.
I have a suggestion and a etiquette question for you.
First, I love your daughter's artwork. I thought Bravo could make a t-shirt out of her artwork.
It is edgy and exciting to see her creativity. I am sure many viewers would enjoy wearing her works of art especially number two which is the drawing of the naked women.
My etiquette question is :
if a destination wedding is cancelled one week prior to the wedding, are the dis-engaged couple morally responsible to reimburse some of the cost of the airplane tickets, hotel expenses, wedding gifts, passport costs or bridal party expenses?
I have been to destinations in other countries, the cost is truly expensive.
Fortunately, I was single at the time of these weddings. And in each wedding, the couple were married and they are married to this day.
I can just imagine being a married couple or a family arranging time off from work, expensive childcare issues, bride maids dress, passports, transportation etc. just to have the wedding called off at the last minute.
I am interested since Carole let the cat out of the bag on this week show regarding Aviva as a runaway bride.
Thank you Ms.de Lesseps
So, let me see, you are saying that your relationship with Jacques should not be of the "girls concern" But you seem so concerned about Sonja to take it upon yourself to be talking about her personal life, she is not even your friend to begin with. You should be more concerned about your own behaviour, you maybe fooling Jacques, but you are not fooling the viewers.
normally I really like you and side with you, but you need to do a little self reflecting. the last few episoides you have stirred the pot and left the others dangling. you can be the diplomat and still take a stand.
Ramona and Sonja had every right to be upset with Aviva. She acted like a pompous fool and expected everyone to kiss her husband's feet for taking her to St. Barts. Ridiculous. SHE should be grateful, why should they?
You are an instigator and I could see the pleasure in your face when you told A-Diva what Ramona and the other ladies said about Reid changing the dynamic. But you seemed to leave out the part that you agreed with her.
Although, I believe you are the biggest instigator on RHONYC, I do agree that it is non of Heather's business to pursue the issue with Tomas. I don't know what her intentions are but she should really drop it.
If you have and support and "OPEN RELATIONSHIP" as it is said you had in the past...why go on a Reality Show knowing it is not widely accepted by people openly in society...
Not matter what did or didn't happen with Tomas...the perception is that something happened. Each person's perception is their reality. By the look of Jacques face on last night's episode, I would think you may need to have another conversation with him. There's nothing worse than than everyone around you knowing the truth but you.
Lu, you're right that you relationship with Jacques really only concerns the two of you - absolutely - but 'private'? Seriously? You're on TV with him, talking about IVF and your eggs, and then tossing out that craziness about the Italians (only to admit to a ride from Tomas here) - it's all so exhausting and definitely NOT private.
Until Jacques puts a ring on it ...enjoy all the Italian friends you want. What bothers me more is the animosity you create between Aviva and the girls. Instigate much? You got the fight started and you are perpetuating it. Reminds me of times with Jill and Bethenny - a pot does not go unstirred with you around.
If you want yours and Jacques relationship private - then keep him off the air and stop stuffing him down our throats. Believe me...out of sight out of mind.
The thing that is so funny about you is that your life is private however, you want to know everything about everyone, then hold it over their heads, talk about them badly then treat them like crap.
Wish you would have owned up to your part in the "Aviva" mess. You did say the dynamics will be changed and Heather agreed too. It wasn't only Ramona and Sonja who said things, half of which was in jest. You needed own what you said and tell her that even Heather was in on the conversation. Carole ran away and didn't come back. I think much of Aviva's rant could have been avoided if EVERYONE had owned up to their part in the girls conversation and someone hadn't (Heather, Carole, or you) hadn't called her to tell her the things said BEFORE she got there. She clearly knew of that bedroom conversation before arriving. Someone told her......
@indykate I so agree, LuAnn you want to act like you're so prim and proper...if that's the case why are you asking people to lie for you about bringing a man home. Ramona didn't bring anyone home, because she's married, the last time I knew Sonja is not married and is free to do as she pleases...Aviva is the new Kelli...CRAZY and wants everyone to bow down to her, maybe she should try to teach her father some morals instead of baggering Sonja and Ramona...I'll be glad when you're off the show!!!!!
@taffi I think she wants to keep out of the line of fire and RaMOANa's ire.
Remorse? but that was a smoke screen so people will not be talking about her night visit with the "group of Italians"
She's not an instigator at all! She just keeps herself out of the line of fire; it's called survival in this group.
@sarah100 Luann does not like others in her business but does not hesitate to stick her nose in other people's business. How does that work?
that's a very interesting question
@Jack6011She FINALLY says Tomas was there...thought it was her Italian friends!!!!!!
@Bonz25 OMG you nailed it and articulated it in a way I could not. Genius!
I think LuAnn made the call...
@blackberry LOL!!! Hilarious!!
How do you know she's lying? Were you there? I just started watching this season and think Luann is lovely person and don't understand why everyone is down on her. Did I miss something in the last seasons?
@Balthousewife The countess has been an instigator since she showed up on RHONY! Where have you been? She drops her bombs, stays under the radar and then sits and smiles while all hell breaks loose. Are we watching the same show?
@Balthousewife No, it was her big mouth that started it all.
@Balthousewife She's an instigator alright.
You missed EVERYTHING if you have not watched previous seasons. Lu Ann is haughty and sanctimonious. She is really awful.
