In this week’s episode, it’s December in August, bikini shopping in winter, and a good workout for a great cause.
Boy, did Jacques and I pick the right time to leave Ramona's party!
Wow. . . .did things go downhill after we left. Ramona eavesdropping on Heather and Aviva's conversation then yelling at Heather for having the conversation is vintage Ramona. To me, Heather was in the right and she was catching hell for defending Jacques and calling out the group on their immaturity. I say, "Well done Heather." Couldn't Aviva see Ramona lurking behind Heather? Why didn't she say something instead of allowing Ramona to overhear the conversation? Heather apologized right away for the crazy remark -- but there's no doubt in my mind that Ramona was acting a bit crazy that night.
I had so much fun at Aviva's SoulCycle event and I was pleasantly surprised that they played my song! Spinning is a great workout and spinning so that kids can get prosthetic legs is even better. When I arrived, I thought I was meeting Aviva to exercise but when I heard that it was a benefit, I peddled even faster. The fundraiser paid for a little boy's running legs and I'm so glad that Aviva shared with us his reaction to his new prosthetics. Seeing him run for the first time brought tears to my eyes and a deeper respect for Aviva.
Honestly, I was surprised that you lied to the girls and then posting you learned a lesson. Don't we learn these lessons as children? You didn't even have anything to lie about. Having ppl over or even one person is nothing to lie about esp w/cameras all over the place. Not much to hide. The Ramona wine test was also below the belt. Maybe you should take a page out of the princess book instead. Carole, Aviva, and Heather are now the cool girls.
Overboard about her dog? Really? Enhancing a life is more important than loosing one? No wonder they say animal lovers have more compassion than most. We care for the LIFE of innocence. Dogs are family, like children and just because you do not understand it, does not mean you are right. For some people their dog is all they have and its loving and loyal without the drama. You all need to learn to be respectful of others feelings. I am not even a fan of Sonja but I feel for her loss. I woud never allow someone to take my dog to the vet for me, especially if it could be the time I ay have to say goodbye. You ladies need to learn compassion for others and not just your own agendas.
Lu, u r a fabulous Indian. Hear that, Carole? American Indian. WHO does princess think IS? Love You Lu. You look fantastic
Notice that she has no blog for tonight's show (27th) yet. Money can't buy you class and neither does lying. She is way too pretentious to be believed and tonight pretty much made that clear.
This post is very for the Johnny Depp episode. really LuAnn. The actions you portrayed of lying are a slap in the Rules of the Countess isn't it? Maybe a new book or song will come of this.
I think you are wonderful LuAnne, but the wine tasting thing with Ramona was mean (even though I am not a fan of Ramona's). Except for that, I think you are classy and very diplomatic. You always keep your cool and seem like a fun person. Think it through before having a child out of wedlock - you have everything going for you, don't be blinded by love because you have other children to be a role model for.
I agree, and think that Heather could almost feel Ramona's head on her shoulder. Could Aviva see this? Surely, she could. The wine-tasting trickery, while somewhat amusing, was probably not the best choice of things to do involving Ramona. She has no discernable sense of humor.
So happy to see you give Heather a thumb's up! I don't understand why others defend the "Ramoana Coaster"
You and Jacques are a lovely couple and complement eachother in such a sweet way.
All good wishes!
Well done LuAnn!!! You my dear are one classy lady and I enjoy watching you every week! Keep up the great work -
I don't think that either you or Jacques intended to embarrass Ramona with the wine game. I think it was a way to introduce a little more fun into the event. And I, like you, don't think Ramona was insulted by the game, in fact she liked the fact that you featured "her" wine. I think she let the others(Aviva and Mario) convince her that it was done mean spiritedly.(Mario is being another Simon...ugh). I think that Jacques handled Mario's negative comments eloquently, in both instances( i would expect no less from someone associated with the "Countess."
It was very sweet how Jacques stepped in with the "Harry" conversation at the La Cirque dinner to say..."I dated Harry too" ...hilarious!
and I LOVED the way he responded when Aviva brought up the wine party at the other event. ..,he stepped over to the piano and sang... "What If..... What If.." BRILLIANT!
Your next song should be a duet!
While I am not a fan, the shopping for bathing suits comment was priceless. Good one!
AVIVA IS THE REASON RAMONA AND HER HUSBAND WENT OFF ON YOU GUYS!!! ...she implanted that idea that u did it to hurt her in their minds while you were all away in England!! REMEMBER THAT!
viewer99 Who cares? She is on a show and has two children. Isn't that enough? What is she supposed to be doing?
Who cares what she does. If she has the money and doesnt have to work more power to her!
viewer99 Speak for yourself, honey. I don't need LuAnn's job description. What do YOU do? Inquiring minds need to know.
You truly do have so much class. If Bravo doesn't get rid of Sonja and Ramona pretty soon I am going to go out of my mind!
Luann, glad to see you finding yourself more 'right-sized', with less of the dahling stuff. In fact, you do have a good way at ignoring things that are truly off the wall. Carole has that ability also, as does Aviva to a certain extent. And who might I be talking about? The Booze Sisters, Ramona and Sonja (with a J, and an important J). If I had to be around women like that in social settings, I'd probably be in jail, for some sort of assault charge! Watch yourself with little Miss Ramona; she's not right and will most likely turn on you in the near future (as will your pal SonJa). my
Luann, I think I misjudged you and for that I am sorry. You are a light hearted person. You don't seem to stir the pot and you don't seem to hold a grudge. I thought it was cool of them to play your song during the cycling class. I also like the way you forgave Ramona but you know how to handle her. It's like you let the past go but you keep distance between the two of you because you know how she is. I also like the way you seem like a high school girl in love when you are around Jacques. I like him too, he's a smooth guy and Heather was right to defend you guys in your absence. You have a lot to be happy about aside from these women so live life and be happy. Continue to let the sweat roll from your back as these ladies are crazy and you're just trying to enjoy your life. Good luck to you.
Luann, I love that multi-strand black cord & pearl necklace you've been wearing on the show. Where did you get it? I love your taste in jewelry. Have you ever thought about designing your own jewelry line?
I agree, I would buy it. I love Luann's style and she always wears the greatest jewelry
thatgirldeb Please let me know if you do find out where she got it!! I want one SO bad!!
After all the hateful things Ramona has done to you, I am very surprised that you are making any kind of effort with her. Ramona is a loose canon and it won't be long until she slams your family again. Be careful...
LuAnn, Just got back from vacation and spent the last coupla days catching up on Bravo housewives episodes. I can't help but say I was stunned that Carole took offense at the term American Indian. HELLO??! American Indian - and Native American - are not only acceptable but preferable and certainly way more than the term 'Aboriginal.". As a card-carrying member of the Cherokee Nation, I know of what I speak. " Also, as you quietly pointed out, the Smithsonian folks think so too, thus the name: the National Museum of the American Indian. You stay true, LuAnn; you can run rings around the likes of Ramona Singer.
You are the voice of reason and the calm before the storm. Ramona = crazy? Uh- YAH! She wasn't limited to only being nutso that night, however. It is every scene; all the time. I can't understand why you or any of the ladies would want to be in the same room with that brat.
LuAnn I must admit, I really like you better when you are not with Jill. She brings out the mean girl in you. I think this season your started things with the tone of seasons before. You seem to have adjusted to the new environment and I really like you so much more. The way you and Ramona were at the bikini store was fun, fresh and endearing. I like Ramona's antics for I think they make for funny TV. You don't seem to take things too seriously which is really how it should be. I find Heather takes things too seriously. The scenes in london were BORING. This is a housewife show, not a show where everyone is best friends. I think you Sonja and Ramona could be the best trio on TV if you would only not do the sneaky things. Snipe, snark, dance. Those are the things we want to see. We don't like vindictive. some may, but those who don't write in don't.
You stir the pot to try and get the other's against Ramona. You need to realize how immature it makes you look. Your Indian talk made me embarrassed for you.
i agree. also NATIVE AMERICAN includes Eskimos which are not American Indians. so I think the term Native American is incorrect to describe people of Indian tribes
YES!! That is the question! Didn't Aviva see Ramona lurking over Heather's shoulder??? I have been asking myself that question as well. Why didn't Aviva say anything? Another classy blog Luann. You're also not getting drawn into the school girl drama. kudos.
LuAnn, you go girl!!!! You seem to be the voice of reason in the show this season, keep up the good work!!! Telling the truth no matter who doesn't want to hear it, is a great thing.
You sure did pick a good time to leave but my guess is they were waiting for you to leave so they (Ramona and Mario) could be mean. But they seem to perceive others as being mean....hmm? Maybe that is why they projected onto you and Jacques that you were being mean and trying to ruin Ramona's business, forcing her into bankrupcty and homelessness with the wine game they are so paranoid about. Because that is what THEY would do. I didn't find the wine game rude or mean I thought it was fun. And for the record, Ramona IS crazy no question.
LuAnn, you're cool. Glad you are on the show. You, Heather and Carole bring sanity to the show..Aviva sure has turned out to be a drama queen and what can we say about Ramona and Sonja.. ewwww comes to mind
I have to say I was surprised at how well Ramona handled missing Aviva's charity event. It was perfect to simply apologize and offer a check to support the cause, whereas Sonja acted like a complete nitwit. She seems to lack the ability to see things from others' perspectives. That is not a good quality.
although im not a fan of Sonja. I think she was embarrased when Ramona pulled out the ck because Sonja doesnt have any money to contribute. Lu I've always liked you. I hope your wish to have a baby with Jaques comes true but my advice to you get the ring first.
LuAnn, I find myself liking you more and more with each episode this season. You seem more down to earth and able to shrug off the Ramona/Sonja nonsense. You also seem to genuinely appreciate Heather calling them out on the Jacques comments.
How can you even try to be friendly with Ramona? I do not understand it. She is such a mean person and so not like you.
I think that you answered your own question there! To me it seems that LuAnne is trying to be the bigger person and get along with someone even though she has nothing in common with them. I'm not a fan of LuAnne's at all but I really think that she has been handling herself really well with Ramona. Ramona's a ticking time bomb and you would have to overlook her 'crazy' sometimes if you are to keep the peace.
Lu has it over all this season. Lu remains my fav. What she did in S.B. was very ... FRENCH
LuAnn, I wish that they had dropped you from the housewives show. Your arrogance is unwarranted, and in contrast to two of the new girls (Aviva, and Carole), you just can't hang. Classless, and boring that's what you are.
@beaujoy When you're the only one who posts negativity, says more about you than about Luann.
