White Lies

LuAnn says nothing happened with Tomas and laments lying about their innocent evening at the villa.

What may have looked like infidelity on last night's episode was in reality, a ride home with a friend and a tour of the house after an evening of fun on vacation eight months ago. Do you think I would bring a man back to a houseful of housewives (and cameras) if I were planning on having an affair? My big mistake was trying to avoid the speculation and assumptions by telling a white lie. The problem with telling a white lie is that once you say it, you have to stick to your story, that's why I made the call when I heard that Tomas was coming for dinner that night. Never tell a fib because it can snowball out of control. LESSON LEARNED. As I write this, Jacques and I are on vacation and we couldn't be more united and happy!

Room assignments are always tricky when traveling with the girls, but I was happy when Ramona and Sonja decided to be roomies because it left me one of the best rooms in the house.

Poor Heather! I felt so bad when she ran into the glass door and hurt her nose. I gave her Advil to stop the swelling and I had her hold a cold compress to her nose. Luckily, it worked and she was feeling fine the next day.

Carole's boyfriend Russ is charming and good-natured and he didn't let the girls' antics ruin his night. I'm sure that Carole briefed him on what to expect from Ramona and Sonja. Carole did what she could by asking Ramona to NOT act like herself. . .you know, "crazy" to quote Carole.

I love Le Ti St. Barth and I ran into some of old Italian friends that I enjoyed seeing again. The reason I didn't get up on stage with the girls was that my pirate skirt was way too short. It was really fun to get dressed up like a pirate and dance the night away.

The dynamics of a girls' vacation changes when you add men, even sweet men like Reid! I think this is why Ramona was upset that Aviva was bringing her husband. . .she’d have to behave around Reid (maybe). We’ll see how it all plays out next week.

Until then, bisous!

Ramona: I Am Truly Blessed

Ramona talks about the importance of her birthday luncheon and how she felt hearing about Bethenny's childhood.

It was great to go on a trip to Atlantic City with all the girls to celebrate my birthday. What was more important to me was to celebrate over a lunch with my 30 girlfriends of 20 years. My girlfriends who came to the luncheon have been so supportive of me over the past two years in this difficult time. They never made a judgment call and always advised me to do what makes me happy, and they would support me in any decision I made about my marriage. I am truly blessed by each and every one of them.

I shared with Dorinda that I went from keeping the company of men to dating men. Leave it to Dorinda to ask if anyone gave me butterflies!
I have really intensified my workout and actually use 30-pound kettlebells for my core (I started with only 10 pounds). Kerry, my trainer, has helped me change my body, and I can't believe how strong I have become.

Listening to Bethenny talk about her childhood brought up so many memories of mine. We both had fathers who were abusive to our mothers. This does affect your relationships with men and makes you very strong and independent in your adult life. You will learn more about this from me in my book Life on the Ramonacoaster.
