Season 4
Season 3
Season 2
Season 1
LuAnn was trying to be composed when Tomas came over. We all knew she had him over the night before. All this talk of her Italian friends? LuAnn really needed to give it up. It was becoming Italian-gate. French-gate. No it's LuAnn-gate!
Sonja was on a mission to make Tomas hers that night, and LuAnn was not too happy about that. I couldn't help myself but to flirt and tease with Tomas and LuAnn was not happy about that either!
The five of us had the best day on the boat! We all got along and I was even enjoying Heather’s company! No one knew the exact time of arrival for Reid and Aviva. Sonja and I would always swim in the pool at the end of the day. Sonja loves bathtubs and as there was none in this grand villa she made the pool her tub! Aviva’s arrival in a blazer and buttoned up shirt should have been my first clue of how high tightly wound she was. Nothing in the world could have ever prepared me for "Aviva Rage.”
Watching you with Reid reminds me of you and Simon. Weird, history repeating itself..
You and Sonja together really make me laugh. I hope you two are able to stay friends and not let something petty get between you.
Shavua Tov
You're a saint for putting up with Avila with such class. The more I watch you the more I am endeared to you:)
@Gvmeserenitynow You are kidding us. :)
Frick & Frack are the Best Queens on this show. Very entertaining. If anyone understands crazy you certainly do! Gotta love it! Hope Aviva fly's off on her ridiculous carpet! The nerve, honestly she should have stayed home, she is boring anyway.
For once I agree with you! Aviva should have stayed home. I am the same way when it comes to kids. In the rare oppertunities I get to go off with out my kids, I don't want someone else to bring there's along.Whats the point then, might as well stay home with my own kids.. If they can't get a sitter than they should stay home. This is the same. Girls trip!! No men!! I would have been just as pissed! Aviva should have thought enough of the girls to just stay home.
You did the correct thing by apologizing to Aviva. You recognized that the flip side of anxiety is anger. Its not about who is right or who is wrong -- its about recognizing that Aviva was anxious. You were marvelous in this situation.
Ramona, you are and have been one of my fav housewives. I must tell you however, that you have become shrill. I don't say that as a slam but to caution you--the same thing happened to me at a big family occasion at which I was tense. I think it just happens without us knowing it. Don't forget to breath before you speak so your vocal cords will relax and you will sound more in control. Aviva was so nasty to you, her reputation may never recover.
:)))Ramona is simply Ramona love her she makes me LMAO,when you want real and not fake you get RAmona..... And i don't think she really gives a monkys about what any hater thinks:))) so keep up your good work girl and i wish you all the very best:)
ramona,
first of all, aviva is so out of line to expect all the girls to thank reid! a warm hello and a quick thank you is fine. aviva wears her anxiety like a crown. i too have anxiety, but once aviva was there, she should be congratulating her self and not burdening you and the girls with her woes. who cares how many languages she speaks, i originally liked aviva but she is pathetic! i love you romana, i feel you have a heart and i love how you are true to your feelings.
tritri
I agree w/ you entirely, and Ramonja's labeling her as a "buzzkill" was on target!
IMO Luann set off Aviva to take the focus off of her cheating. She is also not happy Ramona and Heather are getting along. This is pretty common behavior for her, she is really trying to get Ramona kicked off. Aviva was totally out of control and it would have been better for her to stay home. She didn't act like she wanted to be there, it was too much of a strain and she blew up and made a fool of herself. I would not be surprised if Ramona and Aviva become friends again, like Ramona and Heather are now becoming friends. Calling someone names is unnecessary but like Carole said to Ramona, people say things in the heat of an argument they don't mean. Love you, Ramona! You're my favoriate and I just love Carole on the show, she is so grounded. I like Sonja, too, I didn't at first, but I do now. I still miss Alex. I know maybe Ramona thought she was out of control, but I loved her quirkiness.
Sunny11 You miss Alex???? She was such a phony.
@Esther194 @Sunny11 At least Alex stood by her friends! Not like Jill, Kelly, Lulu, Heather, etc. Alex and Ramona were the only ones who had Bethenney's back. YES. Alex!
Sunny11
I agree with everything you said! (except Alex) I really like Sonja but she seems to be having more and more drunken-emotional breakdowns lately-I hope she moves past that mess!
It seemed like everyone was having a great time until Aviva showed up, she should've stayed home with her drama!
Aviva was over the top, however I would give anything if you would stop picking everyone apart. If Luann did bring Island Boy home with her, why is it so important for you to prove it? We the viewers are not dumb, we seen and heard her conversation. Luann did stir the pot, all she had to do was to say nothing, but she had to throw that dig in. You and Luann are tit for tat.She digs, and then you dig ,,It will not be long before you two are the Housewives from China. Advice,,be the bigger person for once in your life and stop, just stop the digging and enjoy your life. Some of us are not as fortunate to wear amazing clothes, go to amazing parties and go on wonderful dream trips. Just love one another and accept each other for the differences.
Ramona you are awesome.
I think Aviva was loaded for bear before she even showed up b/c she has not forgotten the charity event you didn't attend and has decided you and Sonja just blew it off. When Luann stirred the pot, Aviva went balistic and completely lost it.
You did nothing to deserve any of that. Wow -you had a conversation with your friends (who were all in agreement) about how the dynamic may change if a man was staying for the whole time you all were! Is it a crime to think and discuss nowadays?
When Reid arrived, you didn't say Go Away to him and were pleasant when he let you know he was going to be there but did not intend to invade the women's time together. Everybody was fine then, except Aviva, who was still in the throws of anxiety of her phobias, and Luann, who was just dying to get something started to get back at you for your teasing her about Thomas. Luann lit the fuse on the anxiety ridden Aviva who promptly goes crazy and attacks you and Sonja, all the while not even trying to hear what you have to say. I hold Luann responsible for all of this as if she would've not said certain things (Omitting her own part in it, of course!), then the tension could have passed and everyone could have had a pleasant trip.
Please do not ever trust Luann again- Bethanny called her a snake once upon a time and that is exactly what she is!
Ramona pinot grigio is all i drink. I don't even drink water. Love you Mona!
I just watched the video of you and Sonja looking up "white trash" on google. You two are hysterical! Don't change. Just keep your eye out on miss contessa lulu....she is out to stab you in order to (in her mind) raise herself. She apparently never had enough money to buy that class she is always screeching about......
ABOXA
Ramona drives me crazy the way she talks over people and does her "hit and run" comments, but I have to admit that Aviva's behavior was a little over the top with the way she expected a party and that she wanted everyone to go and personally thank Reid for getting her there.
Bonjour Ramona: You are the pistol of the group, and we are similar in what is on our tongue, we burst it out into the space of humanity. I know it is difficult for you to just be the girl friend and not the mama of all the girls but, just an observation, that behavior even though you are correct in most of what you said, it will alienate most of the others in the group, except maybe Sonja, she is the free spirit. Hunter
I just love reading these comments. It amazes me how passionate some are over a reality tv show. I must admit, I never watched these shows until I had major neck surgery. One day I clicked on Bravo and the rest is history. I say I'll stop watching, but then...I just can't. I am blessed enough to have about 20 gals in my life and we get together at least once a month. Some of us go back over 30 years as part of this group. There have been a few dramatic events but nothing like what these housewife shows have portrayed over the years. Of course, we aren't on a tv show all together, either. We have gone on girl weekends and blown off steam (oh yes, drinking and carousing with lots of laughter but none of it caught on camera thank God. Some ladies you just take in small doses, and Ramona is one of them. I don't think she's got any evil intent...she's just who she is. I cut them all a bit of slack because I enjoy the nonsense and it's not my reality.
@www.TheRealTrailerHousewife@blogspot You would make any woman a perfect friend!!
Over the years I've found myself rooting for the housewives on the show who are at battle with Ramona! From Jill and LuAnn to Heather and Aviva, whoever is willing to tell Ramona off has me cheering at home! I can't even believe that there are people willing to be her friend! She is the most obnoxious woman I have ever seen! I personally think she's an alcoholic with some jealousy issues. The only thing she has going for her is that her drama keeps the viewers coming back for more!
@Bonzi Go be LuLu's best buddy and she can lie to your face. AND lie about you behind your back!
You definitely like to have fun....but you are selfish and rude to others on a regular basis. It's time to look within yourself.
bravofun Who are you speaking of bravofun? Must be Ramona? And if it is Ramona there is no hope of seeing any change there. The woman lives in denial.
While Ramona is tactless, she at least usually admits her faults. LuLu on ther other hand constantly brags how she has so much class, elegance and manners. NONE of these character flaws make either of these women role models. Here is the difference: If I wore a dress that made me look dumpy, fat and unattractive, Ramona would say to my face "That dress makes you look dumpy, fat and unattractive!" I would tell her it hurt my feelings and she would say, "I'm sorry, but that dress makes you look..." LuLu would lie to my face and tell me how great I look. And then go to everyone and tell them how "dumpy, fat and..." Behind my back and with her off-handed "I don't want to get involved". Ramona would overhear her: LuLu would deny and blame Ramona. And that's a made-up example of how LuLu is a snake and Ramona is too gullible to not see through her! That does not necessiarly make me a Ramona fan. Just makes me really, really dislike and disrespect that snakey LuLu!
Wow. As horrible and uncalled-for I thought Aviva's comments were, you aren't doing much to prove her wrong here. "Sonja loves bathtubs and as there was none in this grand villa she made the pool her tub!" Improper use of the subjunctive - just the tip of the iceberg here, grammatically speaking. Not the most egregious of errors, but when you're defending your integrity and intellect, it's perhaps worth considering.
Who cares about Reid being there. It's all pettiness and most you ladies have to much time and money to act so ridiculous. And I truly feel Ramona is at times over the top crazy
Here's a dollar, buy a clue.
Ok. Lets be real here. If everyone would look back at last week's show, Luanne did say the dynamic would change ( not a derrogatory statement, but a fact). It was Ramona who several times asked Luanne to ask Reid to leave. If Ramona is such an upfront tell it like it is person, than why was she asking Luanne to do the dirty work. How about Ramona walking up to him and telling him to leave. Of course she had no right to do this because she is a guest! Plus deep down she is a coward. About the way Sonja greeted Reid (she stated she greeted him warmly) , she walked up to him and when he said he would be working she stated " oh good, you're not going to be an albatross" and proceeded to yell that same statement to Ramona. While I think Aviva overreacted (to say the least) she did have some cause. For these two to start screaming and blaming Luanne for being a s**t stirrer , they did an awful lot of stirring themselves.
Ramona, try to understand someone who is overcome by fear was the person who first came to the house, the other one who came out later on was just an idiot.I lost total sympathy for Aviva after she had time to get herself together and she continued with the name calling.
Hang in there!!!
I guess I'm in the minority, you have been the instigator since being on the show. You and Sonja did try to get LuAnn to ask Reid to leave. You and Sonja started that conversation in the bedroom. What a way to try and shift what you've done on LuAnn. LuAnn doesn't owe you anything especially with you going after her every chance you get. You were loud and acted really childish. I don't find you and Sonja funny at all, I find you rude and entitled. And it wasn't a "girls week" just cause you say it 50 million times doesn't make it so. You and Aviva both need to calm down.
One of the joys of watching the show is the way you and Sonya act with eachother. You two are the Lucy and Ethel or Laverne and Shirley of the upper east side. Most adults would love to have a friendship like that.
@LynnfromMN Not me!
Remember, please, that Lu Ann has been an instigator, aka s--t stirrer since she interfered with Jill and Bethanny. I haven't trusted her since. I love you and Sonja. You are fun to watch, and the only really honest wives !!
@Nawlin2004 LuLu helped destroy their friendship. But Jill would not forgive until it was too late.
Ramona, you are right to be upset. You could have brought Mario! Aviva just didn't wanna leave Reid alone in NYC cause she is super insecure.
Patrick123@Mario: he is a great instigator himself!
Patrick123
Now go watch the episode where Carol invites them to come to St. Barts because Russ will be there....go ahead. Then watch as Ramona encourages Aviva to come no matter how she has to get there....go ahead watch. Now tell me, who was wrong here? Ramona for not listening in the first place and thinking it 's a girls trip or Aviva for showing up and then having her husband being asked to leave. Pah lease!
HBeez
Good point!
As a viewer, I never believed that Carol ever planned this trip as a 'girls only' one. It seemed to me, that she didn't really care who came. In fact, I thought Carol said that the men could even join them and then Sonja saying that if the men came, then she would be the only one without a companion and odd man out. (so to speak) Did I hear it wrong?
Reid's actions alone would have put to rest any 'dynamic' issues that the other women were worried about. As soon as he and Aviva arrived he stated that he was just dropping Aviva off to the girls and that he was going to his room to work and they shouldn't worry about him being around.
My only problem was Aviva's delivery. It was a bit harsh.
mrsdonut HBeez No, I don't think you heard it wrong. I'm pretty sure that you are right on the money with that one. Carole even said so at some point, either on the show or on her blog, didn't she? She said something along the lines of the trip being neither a girls' trip nor an Aviva victory trip, but was about celebrating the completion of her book and a chance for her to spend time with Russ. I empathize more with Carole than anyone - no good deed goes unpunished!
I totally agree with you on the delivery aspect. I think she had justification for being upset, but the delivery was fairly horrifying, as was the smirking reference to Rush Limbaugh in the aftermath.
@HBeez @Patrick123 Patrick you are right! I've watched and my tance has not changed. Just because Ramona encouraged Aviva to come, doesn't mean she expected her husband to be around them. It was a girls trip. Puhleeze!
@HBeez @Patrick123 Nobody asks a vivas husband to leave! LuAnn told Aviva that they were going to, even though they weren't. They just talked about it. LuAnn told Aviva that to start trouble and to turn everyone's attention away from, Thomas. Aviva is a judgmental wack-job
Patrick123
I agree. She knows there are women in NYC that are attractive sans phobias!!!
I wouldn't call LuAnn an "instigator" because that implies she started it. She was more of an accelerant who threw gas on the already-started fire.
Milica Yes, she made things worse. I'm just a fan of words and like to use them accurately, that's all.
I think that it's no crime to say that Reid being there would change the dynamics of the house. Heck, adding anyone else would change the dynamics; there's no big deal in that. It's a far leap from there to not making him and Aviva feel welcome when they arrived. Lu did greet them warmly and didn't make any of the catty remarks that Ramonja did about fearing Reid would be an albatross (to his face upon his arrival) or calling out for the other husbands/boyfriends to be present. She wasn't waiting for the arrival nude in the pool. In the previous conversation with Ramona and Sonja, she didn't come up with the idea of asking Reid to stay elsewhere; I doubt it would have even come up had Sonja and Ramona not proposed it. I think that's where the difference is and that Lu didn't want to be lumped into that kind of behavior.
With all that said, she did make things worse when she shared what she knew. Given that Aviva was already upset, it would have been far kinder to keep that to herself.

Ramona. I have seen past seasons where you can be kind and understanding and compassionate. You were invited on a trip by Carole and if she invited Aviva and her husband and or if Aviva needed her husband to get her there and it was fine with Carole ..it should have been fine with you. And i can't remember who first utter words of any type of displeaure of having her husband there...but who ever did should not have it was not their place. Aviva was emotional rightly so...with her problem with flying and a exhausting flight ...too find out YOUR FRIEND was saying you did not her husband there "where is he gonna sleep" ...was SOO WRONG. you girls had lots of time and fun before Aviva came and still could have had a great time the next few days with aviva husband around. So What if it may have changed the trip....what... would you not have been able to get naked? You do not always have to speak your thoughts...and you know that...you said that on the show. Your an stong respected woman in your career. You know how to behave. It was Carole decision. Her decision should have been respected..her trip and you didnt even go to russ concert. Sometimes were wrong and you are and you should have kepted silent. And if others opened there mouth you could have set them straight like u do cause your or you were Aviva friend. A few days with her husband could have been a joy. You had fun when Aviva invited you to her trip..Right? Aviva was so hurt and she rected as a really hurt personand could not let it go cause you really were not sorry. You said it but did not mean it. I did not see the se second time you said sorry if you said it. But in the interview you said you just said it to to say it...something to that effect. Anyhow Ramona I have seen you compassionate with Betheny and sorry to say you were not in this case. we learn from our experiences.
