Sonja Morgan

Sonja vents about Heather's logo meeting and wonders who has sex anymore.

on Jul 24, 20120

Well, this is interesting! Firstly, that Aviva will even admit her dad is a sex addict (maybe she is using the wrong word?), and secondly that she is comfortable introducing a brand new girlfriend to her father! This is a loaded situation that raises many questions of authenticity.

I'm not new around town and best friends with her ex-Harry, so I guess she knows I'm OK. However, a classic sex addict like the one portrayed by David Duchovny has a problem with fidelity. Being an artistic, sensual person who enjoys a life of good food, wine, love, exercise, sex and culture, all the sights, smells, and touch that goes with this doesn't mean I don't want commitment and respect from family and friends.

As I wrote earlier in my blog I am very flirtatious with those I have no interest in dating. I am very quiet with those I am actually interested in. Isn't everyone? I guess I can be misread because I am so vivacious at times. Jean Harlow I am not! I rather fancy myself as Hello Dolly but I guess I get carried away!

Sonja YOU ARE D BOMB DIGITY! I wish I lived in New York I would be one of your interns! Anyways I think the problem is that there are too many hands in the pot, too many chefs in the kitchen! You really need to go with your gut and do what comes from your heart you have a good instinct so go with that branding! As for Heather I cant stand her all she does is throw in your face how much she's helping you and how you are not paying her blah blah blah why in the world would you offer to help if shes throwing it in your face!

Sonja,  I just saw the episode with your photo shoot.  I totally agree that you do not need  some shirtless hunk helping to promote your product.  You are attempting to promote yourself, not only with your toaster oven but with your party planning as well  etc.  You are promoting  Sonja Morgan...period. Bethany did a great job promoting herself.  You are a very attractive woman, and definitely not stupid.  I thought it was insulting how Heather insinuated that you were some charity case for all of her help.  Beep, Beep, she is certainly getting a lot of free advertising out of her YUMMY TUMMY product!  Good Luck...Coyote Cal

"I am very flirtatious with those I have no interest in dating. I am very quiet with those I am actually interested in. Isn't everyone?" Absolutely true! Aviva is difficult to read yet but she strikes me as the type to keep both eyes on... Luann is a bully, happy to spoke up about her charging in first.

Madonna, Prince, Bono, Sly, Arnold, Gaga, Fergie, Britney, etc.....These are celebs who have such big personalities they go by just one name.  You have such a big personality that I think you can go by just Sonja.  We love you as Sonja.  No need to add 'in the city' or anything else.

" she showed up with fonts that frankly looked like you could have printed off your computer! " ---gee whiz, I guess that's because you can download over 150,000 fonts from font.com.  Font development is an art - new fonts are rarely, if ever, developed for a logo (even Apple and Microsoft use standard fonts).  You appear to know as little about typography as you do about grammar (not much, given the multiple errors in your blogs - to include the sentence quoted here).

Sonja, I would market you as "Sonja's Secret". You are the face of your brand and when I see you all I hear are lines from "I'm a Woman". Your toaster oven is your secret to getting it all done, and your logo should just be the long eye-lashed wink of an eye with "SJ" on the bottom right.

normally I would not buy anything that any housewife is selling, as I do not agree with any of these women profitting for doing next to nothing !! HOWEVER, in your case, there is something about you that makes me want you to succeed in your new venture. Maybe it is your vulnerability and the fact that you have been through so much ( yes it shows).  I am hoping that your toaster oven will be priced reasonably so that we can afford it out here in the real world. I will consider buying one !!

Sonja, keep your original logo, the script with the j (which doesnt look like an i if you loop the bottom part of the j)

You've been my favorite since the moment you were on the show. You are beautiful, classy and oh so funny. I was looking at the pictures of you over the years and you were and still are simply stunning. I know that whenever you're on screen, the chances are you will have me laughing. I adore you, and I wish you nothing but good fortune and lots of happiness. :)

I would give Bethanny a call for branding advice!  Always enjoy watching you, can't wait to get your toaster oven.  I thought heather's blog was hilarious....she's apparently the expert on everything!

I have NEVER bought a celebrity endorsed product. Nor have I ever owned a toaster oven.  However, at this point in my life, cooking for one, and watching you stress over your “baby” I think I’ll make an exception to my long standing rule. I’ve been considering a toaster oven and I think I’ll wait for yours.

Trust your instincts.  You have a very unique style. Your SONJA logo has much more appeal and stands for who you are.  The other logo did look like fonts.

Hey there Sonja!! I think you have a wonderful blogging attitude. You are straight up and you are real!! I'm loving the pictures on Twitter of you in France and the show is getting better each week, from what I see. I'm in Ont Canada, so not televised here yet =(. I do watch it streamed..ssshhh You are so right about several things in this blog, but I do think Luann set up Ramona. Ramona shouldn't have to prove anything to anyone..she is an individual..lol Let Luanne take some taste test, say in clothing, instead of copying Heather or Carol.. Love you and Ramona.. always will!! xx

You seemed very ungrateful. I think it's better to listen at times. God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason and your business decisions haven't always been successful so it is important to listen!

Sonja, In almost every episode this season I noticed that you seemed to be very hungry and ate at parties as if it had been your only meal that day.Do you have enough groceries at home? I wish you all the success in the world with your toaster oven.

Sonja, it's pretty rich of you to get offended by Aviva suggesting you like sex...when you were parading around PANTLESS last Season at your costume party!

Just push LuAnn out of the way so you can have the entrance! It's too bad LuLu can't respect other people's feelings! And yes! You do need to be on the box! And no! Not with other men! The brand is you! That's it. Don't make it a joke.

Sonja you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, Heather was trying to help you. You seem very unappreciative and screwed up you need to get a grip before you lose everything, no unkindness intended.

You are the best Sonja, you and Ramona.Don't ever change.

Be careful of new people bearing gifts and big smiles too, you may get more than you bargained for.Lol

That was way too creepy Aviva setting you up with someone's dad much older then you and a sex addict?  Haha If you wanted a sex addict I'm sure you could do so much better and younger. You have more class.  love ya!!

I agree with you about your Logo...  I would have been offended if the person who was helping or giving advice on your logo hadn't researched you.  I know that Heather called in a favor, but she committed to helping you.  Just an observation.  I might be a little biased because you are one of my favorites!  I just want you to succeed.  I agree with the whole Aviva stirring the pot thing, as well.  I thought that Luann and Jacques were just playing.  These new women (aside from Carole) are giving me heartburn!  HA!  Keep on being you!  You are refreshing and fun!

Your honesty is so refreshing!  I love how you are just being yourself in all the scenes of the show.  I think you are one of the only women on this show ( besides Carol ) that is genuine....and funny as hell!  Keep it up and we will all tune in.  Don't let up on Lu yet...she still doesn't get it!  I guess Money can't buy you brains!

@Innerred Oh please...people say plucked all the time.  There is no "proper" way to refer to it.
