Sonja gives us some more background on her interns and her home life.

Dirt bikes! I grew up with a brother racing dirt bikes and me riding my pony around, trying to see what the boys were up too. It's great that Heather is giving her kids the outdoors and that she can get down and dirty with them and still keep up with the fashion bling and pop culture of NY. I think it's important to teach kids to entertain themselves and to be entertaining. Sometimes I feel like kids these days don't know what to do with themselves if they don't have 20 dollars for a movie.

Michael Musto in the background of the black and white clip of Ramona cracks me up. He adds spice to ANY party! He's a friend who writes for The Village Voice.

Heather now makes it clearer that its a business trip and she has these international relationships that she is worried about and she feels she needs to protect them.

Donor egg?! Prenatal vitamins for two years?! Gosh! I Had no idea LuLu had been practicing for so long. First comes love! Then comes baby carriage! Then the marriage. . .? That's so European Lu! Mind over matter when Lu says she feels her ovaries moving with the first pin pricks at the acupuncturist! Hilarious! Talk about a placebo.

I don't know how I could handle going to the doctor like Heather with Jax with such a devastating disease. My sister's son lost a kidney and a half and nearly died to cancer. He had Wilhems disease at 18 months old. We found out Christmas Eve! Somehow moms do what they have to. I'm so fortunate to have my health and to know my daughter is thriving. Money cannot give a life back; a child or a parent. I try to cherish every moment for this reason. Sometimes I feel I'm too "busy" around my daughter. It bothers me. I consciously plan "mommy and me time" for this reason. Just her and I and no phone, emails, or other people. Even if it's just being together doing nothing but being together.

Aviva, not knowing Ramona, is not sure if we are fighting. That's just Ramona venting and displacing her anger on me. Like I said Ramona puts up with me!!! I'm not perfect. Ramona's comments to her husband were private. I don't really think she meant them. She's allowed to go off the rails with her man. Besides that's her opinion! Beats the name calling other people practice.

Whoops! I can see I'm going to get some harsh cuts on this first Sonja in the City party. Wouldn't be fun to watch if my party went off without a hitch, now would it? I can plan a party in my sleep, and you have seen it over and over. The Social Life party was fantastic. In fact, you missed the band! If only Ramona had stayed. I guess Carole is right -- all the drama is around Ramona! She leaves and the cameras leave! I have to admit the party I threw the first episode ruined everyone's hair! It was 100 degrees and humid so the garden deflated everyone's hair. . .oh well. Didn't stop Ramona and Lu from going at it. No party goes off perfectly. You just roll with the punches!

That was a fun morning just easing into the day with the interns. It's the calm before the storm.

It took many online forums of all types of religions, just to be notified that I'm in the 3 percent of "unmatchables." Which of course I knew! I just didn't want to see it blaring at me on my computer screen. But, I'm not going to lower my standards to be with just anyone! Any other religions I should try? Currently I'm reading about the Kabbalah, and haven't tried Scientology.

There's been some snarky comments about what my interns do and why I need them. Let's be honest, everyone could use some help! Especially a working mom with a busy schedule, philanthropy, and new business developments. Just the social media alone has my head spinning! These kids today are whizzes and they just love it. All of it. The glamour, the dresses, the events, the celebs, and the bright lights of the big city! Goody bags are not enough to satisfy these kids. We play hard but we work harder. Everyone on my team has a great attitude, manners, and respect. Each person on the team brings something different to the table, which makes us appreciate each other that much more. I'm just a part of the team too.

Tyler is very smart and goes with me on all my appearances and important business appointments. That can be anything from a toaster oven demonstration, charity presentation, red carpet, premiere, board meeting, lawyer, financial, catering, public relations, Sonja Home design, website, or social media meeting. They are never ending, and I trust him to tell me what he really thinks, and to get me there and back safely. He also makes sure my borrowed dresses and jewels are intact and returned, receipts submitted, and reimbursed. He also watches the budget.

Naomi, who is from Belgium, prioritizes my emails and gets them to me. She knows my daughter, family, my ex, my pets, and interns come first. Then, new business opportunities, lawyers, and financial advisers come next.

After all that, I answer mail that comes in on my website, and comment on Facebook and Twitter. Honestly the best part of doing the show is sharing recipes, tips, revelations, and lack of revelations with my peeps! The viewers have been so supportive and I enjoy conversing through social media when I feel like unwinding. In between all this I make time for friends and dates. Besides prioritizing emails, Naomi comes to all Sonja in the City events. She assists in every way. She has class and knows how to handle herself around the multicultural clientele that book events with us.

Millsaps is my right-hand gal. She is responsible for the comings and goings at the house. Security is number one! I have to be out a lot "in the field" attending business meetings, going to court, or making appearances. I need someone I trust at home. I don't have a house manager or butler, and the door has to be answered. The workmen must be monitored, bills paid, and phone answered. Millsaps always comes on trips and to events. She selects outfits, maintains wardrobe, schedules, and staff. I also love her to come with my daughter and I to the Hamptons and Palm Beach, etc. because she has such a great attitude and is fun to be around. Everyone loves Millsaps! We will miss her. Her year is up at the end of summer and she's off to get her Master's degree. My recommendation will be longer than this blog because I hold her in the highest regard and she will always be welcome in our home.

We always carve out time for my health. Workouts, facials, vitamin routine, my chocolate banana sesame shake (LOL), green juices, yoga retreats, appointments with Dr. Eric Braverman (my life longevity guru) all take a prominent position in my calendar.

I do whatever it takes to keep me in balance, strong and able to manage everything, and still go forward while enjoying my life and the people who love and support me. It's not always the bottom line for me. It's that I have lived the life I want and with who I want. Most days are so busy that once I have dinner with my daughter along with the interns, violin teacher, or whoever helped out that day, and she's off to bed, we all just grab a movie or take last minute advantage of an invitation. That can be anything from Andy Cohen's book signing, art gallery opening, Christmas Spectacular at Radio City, backstage at The Actor's Studio, private townhouse garden cocktail, Cirque du Soleil, or Fashion's Night Out! Then we get up and do it all again, but we all love what we do or we wouldn't be doing it in this wonderful, crazy city!

So if that is too boring, I hope you skipped through! But I do love the people I spend my time with. They make me laugh and they cry with me too! They are in my private home so it's rare I have privacy. This means they go through the ups and downs with me. I couldn't do it all on my own. It's the team that makes it possible!

Sonja: Don't Take Yourself Too Seriously

Sonja explains why she and Ramona are family, why she's hiring Aviva, and why LuAnn is still her friend.

At this point, I am numb to the whole BookGate debate. I am not on anyone's side, I just hope that both books are bestsellers and that Carole and Aviva are making enough money to pay the bills with their books because BookGate has definitely taken an emotional toll on their friendship. I know that they were close and had great times together. In fact, Carole was once the godmother to Aviva's daughter. How can this come between them? Such contention over the accusations! I don't know why they let it get so heated. It's not worth it! I just hope that they can forgive each other at some point. As you get to know someone, you get to see their strengths and weaknesses -- and you have to accept those if you're going to be friends.

I was surprised when the girls laughed at me discussing my ability to forgive and voicing my Christianity. I think that it is one of the reasons that I can live my own life and not worry about everyone else's or the grass being greener. It's all relative. We are on Earth for such a short time. I am enjoying every day of my life. I am grateful for the family and friends that I have and my beautiful daughter.

I have so much more than many other people, and I remind myself of that every day with the charity work that I do. That's why I feel so much more comfortable working with artists, animals, the LGBT, and children. It's such a sensitive, caring, and loving place to be. I love my Sonja In The City event planning business because it lets me be me -- an artist and a promoter -- while helping others reach their highest capabilities. Plus I get to do all that while helping me get my daughter through school in a stable environment. It keeps me connected to the movers and shakers who help me manage my investments. I love to produce and to contribute. It makes me feel good.

I believe some of the women fail to take me seriously because I only show them my party side. There is a private side to me that most people don't see, because they only see me out at social events and while I'm entertaining. I throw a lot of events, so a lot of people only see that side, as it's my business and the way I broker some of my deals.

It is amazing how moms like Heather find strength to do dealing with their children's issues, like her son's health and hearing loss. It's what we do with loved ones. We do it with marriage partners too! I surprised myself when my ex had a terrible accident and I was called upon to deal with all of the doctors, therapists, and financial advisors.

I dont feel that Ramona called Aviva vile. She said that she had a vile side. That's different!

I'm not upset that Ramona spoke behind my back about my financial problems. She's human, and I spoke my feelings then and we worked through it the way that family does. We have too much water under the bridge to let opinions or men get in between us.

Heather questioning the legitimacy of my friendship with Ramona is just silly. She knows that we have been friends forever and whatever I have said about Ramona I have told her to her face. Heather knows this very well -- since I'm very upfront about my feelings with her.

The girls saying that Aviva's leg throw was staged is silly. I let Aviva know that everyone was saying she was fake. Even if she plans to throw it on the table to make a point, that doesn't make it staged. It just means she was pushed to a limit. I thought she was hilarious. After all, it was a private party in the back room. We weren't in the actual restaurant. Aviva doesn't go around throwing her leg around in normal restaurant situations. Maybe she and I should take her act on the road! A real dog and pony show! I always said I was a performer, a comedian, and a producer. At my Sonja In The City parties, now we can include Aviva as part of the show!

My overall thoughts of the season was that the reunion had more drama. I felt the season flip-flopped around quite a bit. Harry and I will always have a very strong relationship, just as Ramona and Aviva will always be in my life. Aviva's son Harrison is like my family.

Ramona was definitely going through something this season. I let her know I was upset, but I can't change her and she can't change me. We accept each other the way we are and we work our differences out.

I didn't know LuAnn was going through a breakup. She never shared that with me, and I was getting upset that she wasn't trusting my friendship and was blaming me for everything. I didn't give any credence to any of the rumors that were going around town through the salon that Satoko worked at. Kristen and I just asked the facialist to tell us for fun. I can't stop LuAnn from running out of parties with my guys -- just like I can't stop Harry from taking off and leaving me because he knows I want commitment and he wants to fool around. But that doesn't mean LuAnn's not my friend and that I can't speak my mind in front of her, and it doesn't mean that Harry isn't someone that I love as well.

I hope that you found the season entertaining. I hope that you don't take yourself too seriously! And when the naysayers back you into the corner, just say what Glinda the Good Witch said to the Wicked Witch of the West "Be off with you, your black magic doesn't work here!"
