Sonja Morgan explains why she moved on from what Aviva Drescher said about her, like comparing her to Anna Nicole Smith0
Good for you Sonja for be forgiving..I found it cruel to laugh at her when she said she was a Christian..the one thing you can say about Sonja is she doesn't have a malicious bone in her body..she is made fun of laughed at constantly..as a Christian we are taught not to judge! And that is what so many of you are doing..you may not be able to dance (which I don't understand and would hate) but my church has dancing and singing at service..no one knows her relationship with God!
Where I grew up in the Bible Belt, Chriistians can't drink, dance, consult tarot cards, or have sex outside of marriage. I guess I chime in on "Delusional!"
Sonja is a sad, sad women living in the past. I thought it was so sad in the first reunion segment when she was boasting about her yacht and everyone had to remind her she does not have a yacht...nor any money to speak of.....
You gotta hand it to Ramona when she told Aviva that she can be vile. That took courage while sitting on the same couch, albeit holding her hand and folding her tongue as she spoke. Ramona has her moments where she can be refreshingly honest. Then suddenly, without warning, she can turn back into Ramona and forget that she insulted you 10 seconds ago.
The reason I laughed so hard when someone asked Sonja Morgan how she can forgive Aviva Drescher -- its because I am a Christian. Not the answer I was expecting and neither did any of the ladies on the couches that's why they were all laughing. I was expecting some long soliloquoy on forgiveness, karma, abundance candles, swami priests etc. You never know what you get when you ask Sonja Morgan a question.
OMG!!! This season was so freaking boring!!!! No good drama and the leg thing with Aviva was so stupid! I hope next season is more spicy.
But I must say Sonja never fails to entertain me...that woman is hilarious :)
Aviva should be kissing the ground Sonja walks on…if it wasn't for her, NO ONE would have filmed with her. I've re-watched Season 5 and Aviva was unbelievably vicious to Ramonja. Sonja's a better person than I am for hanging out with Aviva after that. The Anna Nicole Smith comment was sooooo not a compliment, and only a fool would believe it. I wish Aviva would just cop to what she says and apologize, rather than try to spin things as a "compliment." Then again, this is a woman who smugly quoted Rush Limbaugh last season - and seemed quite pleased with herself for doing so. Ugh. Adios, Aviva.
Sorry Sonja the Bible Belt is laughing at you along with the other ladies. The Bible Belt does not believe your act or believe your life resembles one of a Christian. Didn't your fabulous famous friends ever tell you don't bring up politics or religion. You forgave Aviva because you needed a friend a team Sonja player someone who would drink the Sonja Kool-Aid.
a viva, I think you were totally bullied this year and I am sorry you didn't have any support from these crazy people. Copaigue is hardly the ghetto. Some of us out here on LI are actually NOT mean girls. Hope to see you back soon! ( or maybe out east - try the vineyards and stay away from the Hamptons and the Berkshires)!
Anna Nicole Smith wasn't funny or stunning. She was a sad sack of silicon willing to sell her soul for a buck. People laughed at her not with her. Beware of Aviva's "compliments".
Glad Sonja could forgive Aviva! I'm just hoping we can forget her next season! The leg on the table act was so staged and predictable, Aviva was just trying to get attention all season, I think Ramona's description of Aviva was dead on! Vial Aviva! There ya go,
@Labornurse I know....I think the downside of this show is to see how many people are living beyond their means only to hear that later they file for bankruptcy. The 15 min of fame is just not worth it.
@thelmadickinson Her last blog is spot on. I am going to miss her wit and writing. It's like leaving a character behind when you have finished a book. I am going to miss it.
Perfectly said. I could not agree with you more. I have no respect for Aviva she might be able to project her voice louder and she is very articulate but nothing that comes out of her mouth has any validity. I hope the ears and eyes at Bravo listen when we say Ciao Aviva
True but don't forget that Aviva doesn't live a conventional life (hanging out with her ex with her family). Sonja doesn't live a conventional life (interns, Nigerian football team, Arab royally). Sonja dates Aviva's ex (as does most of New York's upper east side) and they all hang out together...weird. Their kids get along. Throw in Aviva's father and his granddaughter......errr...I mean his new young wife and there you have it. Assorted nuts all in one house. I bet Sonja feels comfortable in that mix because the other women have a more conventional household and she probably doesn't feel like she fits in as she does in the circus at Aviva's house.
@KMCoffey Exactly...I don't think she understood the real reasons the ladies were laughing...it had nothing to do with being a Christian, it is just another crazy Sonjaism that we have come to expect from Sad Sonja. I think the straw that stirs the drink needs to retire and focus on her abundance candle.
@Andreave No Aviva wasn't bullied. If she would keep her myriad of ailments to herself there wouldn't have been any problems. She never shuts that big mouth of hers to hear what anyone else has to say. I hope they drop her. She adds nothing to the show.
@Andreave Apparently someone was watching the wrong show. NOT what happened at all.
@Andreave Heather's from COPAKE in upstate NY - not Copiague.
@Andreave Aviva wasn't bullied. She asked for, and received what she deserved.
So true! My pet peeve is people who don't take responsililty for their actions, to say being called Anna Nicole Smith was a compliment ! No one is stupide enought to believe that! DOES Aviva really thing people are so stupid?
It's become a curse and an example of how these women are NOT living in reality on a reality show. It's ironic really.
Me too. It's like finishing a great book that you don't want to end. I would rather just read Carole's blogs once a week than see the show at this point. Oh well until next year ;-).
I don't know Sonja other than what I see of her on the show however, her sexual antics and consultations with spiritual advisors and psychics are not in line with how we are told we should behave in Scripture. I think that is why the ladies laughed at her when she made the comment about being a Christian. If Sonja is a Christian, she should know better than to consult with psychics and follow astrology. Those are strictly forbidden in the Bible. Promiscuity is also a no-no. Being a follower of Jesus as Christians call him (or "Messiah Yeshua" to Jewish believers, like myself), isn't only about forgiving people. It is also repenting for your own sins and then not doing it again.
@gjb About like Aviva saying that her statement to Carole "at least I'm not fifty" was a compliment, she's ridiculous...
