In general, Bethenny Frankel has some pretty healthy eating habits. She eats vegan when she can. She finds nutritious and delicious bites even at the airport. And, she always has some sensible snacks on standby.
Still, The Real Housewives of New York City pal can't help herself from falling into an eating trap we all encounter from time to time. And in a recent Instagram post, Bethenny copped to her "worst" behavior when it comes to snacking.
Sharing an image of herself standing in a kitchen — and looking gorgeous, we might add — the Skinnygirl founder wrote: "Always eating standing," followed by a hashtag that spelled out "worst."

Bethenny's habit is actually part of a debate among scientists: "Sitting down to eat can help you consume less food and fewer calories, according to a 2007 study that involved adult women and was published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. It can also help you make healthier food choices," Livestrong noted.
But there's more: "There is a debate, however, because human beings tend to burn more calories while standing than while sitting. When you're eating, however, taking the time to sit and enjoy your meal can bring about a range of health benefits that you just don't get from standing up."
Whatever you do, mindful eating is key to health — and that's probably what ever-busy and multitasking Bethenny was getting at.
