The Real Housewives of Orange County

Self-made businesswoman and Coto de Caza resident Vicki Gunvalson has always been driven by money and success, and this season her seemingly insatiable thirst for wealth drives her to push not just herself harder, but her family. Vicki is one of the original ladies of The Real Housewives of Orange County, appearing on the docu-series since Season 1. She owns a successful life insurance business, which viewers will see is booming this season. She is married to her second husband Donn Gunvalson, who is an executive at a shipping company. She has two children - Michael, now 22, who attends the University of Colorado, Boulder and Briana, now 21, who is in nursing school. Both Michael and Briana decide to move back home for the summer. Briana is concerned about her mother's health and confronts her several times to slow down and make more time for family. This season Vicki thinks about buying a yacht. It's a million-dollar purchase, and the only way to fund it is to sell the family's home in Havasu. Michael is all for it, but Briana hates the idea. And does her ever-patient husband Donn weigh in on this, seeing that the Havasu house is his favorite place? Michael is also driven by money. The difference is, he doesn't want to work for it - and this drives Vicki insane. Michael is also getting very serious with his girlfriend, Lauren. The irony is, she's a virtual Vicki "mini-me" in looks, disposition, and attitude. Throughout the season, Vicki's drive for power, money and success grows every day. With her insane work schedule, Vicki is more then happy to tell anyone that will listen that she has no time for friends... let alone any new friends. So when it comes time to meet Jeana Keough's new friend, Gretchen Rossi, the claws come out.
