I had a fun week this week, I got to speak at a conference for Pepsi Bottling's newly formed women’s group. What a wonderful experience and great for networking. I spoke on Networking, remember Vicki and I started Le Tip of Coto de Caza, five years ago. We won the rookie of the year status with all our enthusiasm and how quickly we built a very profitable group. I loved every minute of it until we got so busy we had to step down from the board and refocus on staying sane. Networking is a wonderful way to meet people and connect for business. I also got to go on The Doctor’s, it aired this week, with Eleme Smooth Shapes. The anti cellulite laser treatment that I am spokesperson for. This week we also were on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, hope you caught it, but if not you can catch it on the web.
I reconnected with Beth Bohn, my agent who had left APA to strike out on her own. I was very happy to hear she is doing well and I am setting up an appointment to see her new space. I also just realized my agency is expired, so great networking on Beth’s side, by calling all her old contacts. That is how networking works. Stay connected, use both old and new relationships, and ask for the business. Tom Ferry, my personal business mentor, taught me a lot about public speaking, I think everyone should take toastmaster, or Tony Robbins’s. Why not focus on being the best we can be for 2010.
This week, get to the gym, put down the fork and chase your man around the bedroom, it will make your relationship better and you'll get some exercise. No more lunch dates, meet in the bedroom instead! Mix it up, keep it interesting - food optional. Can you tell I am enjoying being single?
Vicki, it was so great to see you on this episode, man i miss you! Don't know where they got the new women, but aside from you, Vickie and Gretchen, the show has gone to the dogs. You look really pretty, less stress agrees with you!
Please come back to the show. You are missed. I am sure Vicky misses you now that no one has her back. But you were one of the peace keepers and minded your own business. Have fun with the dating, its meant to be that way.. Hope to see you back on the show.
I am so glad you are just enjoying life! You seem to carry other people's burdens and it sucked watching you the last couple seasons dealing with your divorce and it taking a toll on your self esteem! Ya for you, have fun!
Jeana, For the love of all things good and holy, WE MISS YOU!!!!! Since you left, things have taken a definite turn for the worse!! Good luck in all you're ventures. Wishing you all the best, Kelli Ash
Jeana, why do you blog? I like you but you talk about nothing having to do with the show. Honestly its kind of boring.
Jeana, I just love you and your little comments to Vicki were so right on..She doesn't get it..I miss you. You are so real and honest..
It was great to see you back on this evening's show. I hope that you come back next season. I would like next season to be more positive. The economy is bad. People are stressed. The last thing that I want to see is a reality show that is all negative and catfights. We all all walk on egg shells to avoid that kind of behavior where we work. It is called being professional. TV is supposed to be entertaining. What do you think? I wouldn't worry about Vicki. It always takes her time to warm up to the new girls.
I love you Jeana! Your so right...when it stops being fun you gotta get OUT! It went from fun to arguments every episode 2 seasons ago...so sad...I used to love watching the back yard BBQ's and family fun NOT bitter bickering!
Hey Jeana! So cool to see you - and to see you and Vicki together. I think you two needed to have your moments to address the spats - but I sure hope you two can be friends on some level now that some time has passed. You two were fun to watch on the early seasons - at least you guys had fun together. That was what got me hooked on the show. You look great - sounds like you are having fun too! WEE! Wish you would come back next season, but don't blame you if you don't!
It was nice to see you on the show tonight!! As much as I love watching - these women are insane to open up their personal lives and subjecting themselves to be set up for drama, conflict and editing done at the producer's whim for ratings.
Vicki, take Jeana's advice and follow her lead - you have too much integrity for this show. Just stop in every now and then and say "hi" to those of us who have 'gotten to know you' over the years.
I absolutely luv Jeana!! I wish she would come back to the show, I miss her. Actually, is there even going to be another season? I luv Orange County and the New Jersey Housewives!! I guess because they're all so scandalous, but I gotta say I luv them all n they're so beautiful!! I wonder if they get paid to do the show? I know the girls on The Hills and Jon & Kate + 8 did, mayb if they did get paid even though it's reality t.v. I'm sure that would help them out a lot! Maybe Jeana would come back (no offense Jeana) well can't wait for the next episode n hopefully next season! :) Jackie
Jeana , Very HAPPY to see you on tonight...:) man we all have miss you you are one of the best housewives ever ! It was to funny Ms thing Vicki talking SH** about the way the girls talk to her if you ask me it's about time someone tell her what a 2face she is . I dont know how you do it talking to her with out laughing your ass out !!! well good luck with your work , kids and love life !! always your Fan , Shannon , rockyface,Ga
I was so happy to see you on this last episode. I only wish Bravo would go back to the original cast, Vicky Jeanna, and Lauri. wish you the best jeanna.
Jeana, You are the favorite of this show...come back!! It hasn't been the same since you left. The issue with Vicki..karma has made full circle with her. Don't get me wrong I like Vicki but thought she could have been a better friend to you. Chin up--you are a classy gal!
I was so happy to see you in this week's episode, Jeana! I always enjoyed watching your family on the show. Always seemed to be the most "real" family, filled with love and issues that families have.
It was nice to read the update of how things are going for you now. Keep playing the field and enjoy yourself! You don't necessarily have to fall in love with the guy, enjoy the date whether it be a dinner or movie or whatever it may be. Enjoy that moment, hopefully at least one of them will try to spoil you! You deserve it!
I agree with you wholeheartedly regarding poor Frank, Lynne's husband. Yikes! He treats those women like princesses! I get the fact Lynne was upset about not knowing the financial situation, however, like you pointed out he had spent so much on her and the one bratty kid for elective surgery.. why didn't Lynne just ask about how they were doing financially before allowing her husband to pay for those surgeries?? I was apalled at how she treated her husband.. and you could so tell the daughter was milking the situation because the focus had been taken away from her and her bad behavior.. what manipulation. Poor Frank!
Great to see you. I am glad your Real Estate is picking up. Sounds like you are trying to be happy and I wish you the best and this was the worst season of the OC. I have nothing in common with these ladies, other than Vicki. She was the Odd Man Out. They need to try for some that are interesting like the first shows.
Jeana, it was so great seeing you last night! You and Vicki have always had a friendship that's enjoyable to watch and based on the real issues that so many of us can identify with. Bravo-please show more of Vicki and Jeana!! I yawn when you show plastic surgery (who cares), gym workouts (who cares), and husbands lavishing jewelry on their wives (who cares). Show what's real and what the viewers can identify with. Jeana and Vicki should have their own show.
Jeanna, I am glad you are enjoying life! Best of luck to you!! I guess we all know who was toxic- and it was not you :) You have cultivating friendships and cooperation all over the place. You have found what is important, has lasting value- friendships and relationships. You are rich indeed as you have invested wisely!!
Jeana I heard your voice last night and I was like that's Jeana and then they panned the camera to show you. I was excited. Maybe Vicki will realize how poorly she treated you.
Glad to hear that you and Vicki made up. Your friendship and kids were the reason I watched it. I probably won't watch it any longer because I can't stand the new women, except maybe for Gretchen. Keep you chin up and enjoy meeting new men.
Jeana I was so excited to see you back on air with Vicki. You two, despite past differences, visibly have a true and authentic caring for each other. The show is not the same without you...you were the one, in my opinion, that we all could relate to. You were real and genuine and didn't fall into most to the OC trappings. Good luck with love...the most important love you can manifest is the one for yourself. Enjoy life and nurturing your soul and people will be drawn to you who compliment that. You are a true inspiration for those us still trying to find out authentic selves. All the best to you.
Jeana, You were my favorite cast member and I was sad to see you go. And it was really nice to see you on last night's episode. I know as a viewer we only see a portion of what goes on with all the girls. But, it really seems like Vicki NOW appreciates the friendship she had with you because of how she is being treated by the new girls. But all in all Vicki really seems like she has a really good heart and I really like her on the show. Its great to hear that your business is picking up and your life is going well. I wish you all the best!
You should be the next classy lady on Patty's Millionaire Matchmaker. It would be so fun to watch. DO IT!!
Jeana, We love you I hope you come back. Better yet I hope bravo gives you your own show. RHOC is no good anymore. Your the best and I wish only the best for you.
It was great seeing you on the show last night! You are such a breath of fresh air! Big hugs from Houston, TX!
So great to see you back, the voice of reason, kindness and honesty, , , What a breath of fresh air you are! This season was painful to watch without you. Wishing you continued success, happiness, and joy.
Miss you Jeana!! Wish you were back on the show. Love the comment about getting to the gym and putting the fork down in your blog! So,so true!
I literally was like "jeana!!!" when I saw you on the screen last night. It's so good to see you're doing well.
Hey Jeanna, I am an avid fan of all the "housewife" shows...of all the "wives", you are my favorite and was sorry to see you leave the show. I could see why though. Best of life to you & your children.
Jeana- It was such a nice surprise to see you on the show this week (2/25). Your inate goodness just shines through all of the guff the other "ladies" put out. When you left the show, only meaness was around the rest of them.
Take care and I hope you find your special person. Great advise at the end of this week's blog!!
Jenna I think you could have remained on the show because you are so level headed. Please do not let the likes of Vicki back in your life. She just isn't worth your time!
I hope your house sells and you settle into a new community with lots of things to do and people to meet!
It was great seeing you on the show this week. You & Vicki are so entertaining together, you can tell you are true friends. I'm glad she finally realized you are her real friend and Tamara does not have her back! You look great, keep blogging so we know what you are up to.
miss you on the show. you were the calm, stable one. glad you were there for Vicki when she needed you the most. good advice to vicki to get off the train, yes, she does not fit in with the girls anymore. reconnect with her, it might do you both some good.
I've really missed you on the show! You were always a class act!!! Unlike Vicki & Tamra! I wish Vicki would remove herself from the show. I'm sick of her playing the "poor me" "why are they picking on me" card.... I'm really glad you got away from that mess, but I really enjoyed you on the show. For some reason, my comments never post. I guess a person has to be nice 100% of the time in order for them to post. I've been very blunt on Vicki & Tamra's site, and it never posts. Oh well. True hurts! I wish you all the best in life!
Jeana...you are an absolute breath of fresh air for the show! I was saying "Go Jeana...you tell it girl" when you commented on how what goes around comes around regarding Vicki. Oh how quickly, she changes her tone and seeks out YOUR friendship when she is getting a little taste of her own medicine. I remember episodes where she would speak so unfavorably of a newcomer or even YOU. Once again, you have out classed the bunch. Only the best to you!
I am glad Vicki realized you were a good friend. I am so glad you are doing good and have decided to date more than one man. You went through a lot with Matt so now it's your turn to have fun. In time you will find someone special to spend the rest of your life with. Good Luck!!
Jeana- It was good to see you this week, you are sorely missed on the show. I think you added the levity that these ladies need to balance out all the cattiness and backstabbing. Glad that your big heart allowed you to forgive Vicki and still hang around her, me not so much. You went to her in an obvious time of need and not only did she turn her back on you, she turned her nose up to you as well but I think your willingess to invite her back into your life is a testament to what a wonderful woman you are. As for the dating, you go girl! There's no need to tie yourself to just one person, you've been married most of your adult life, you've raised your children, now it's about having fun and exploring your options. You deserve it!!
I am so happy to hear you are getting back on your feet. I wish Bravo would give you your own show, you are a hoot and so kind-hearted too. Blessings to you and your family. I will take your advice and chase my hubby this weekend! :-)
Jeana, you are the prettiest and the sweetest of the women of the OC. You show alot more style and class than the other women. If I were single I would love to meet you.
Where is Lynn Curtin? Why doesn't she blog? Does she think she is too good to blog after her shows? Maybe she is afraid of what others have to say about her! Vickie and Tamra are the real wives all the rest are just nuts.
Soooo nice to see you on the show again. It was wonderful to see you and Vicki talking about life. It is always a breath of fresh air to have your centered, kind, personality on the show. You truly show grace and class...something that has been somewhat lacking since your departure. Hope life is giving you everything you deserve. K.
YOU ARE SOOOOOOO MY FAV.........I WISH YOU WERE STILL ON! BEST WISHES!
AND YES BEING SINGLE REALLY IS GREAT!
Jeana, You definitely picked the perfect time to get off the OC sinking ship. Karma is a #itch as Vicki found out. The way she treated you and Donn and now seeing her as a "victim" of the Housewives and this caring wife is pretty ironic. You come across as one of the few who is comfortable in their own skin. I love reading about your real estate experiences and miss not seeing you in real estate action on the show. I would love to activate my license again one day. You might be the one to inspire me to do it! Take care and it was great seeing you again.
