I had so much fun during the Vegas trip. The Red Rock Casino was absolutely amazing and totally contemporary, which is totally my style. The spa was amazing and I had a wonderful trip even if the other girls were being mean when I excused myself with Gretchen to the ladies room.
Of all the cast members, I would have to say I'm closest with Gretchen, because we both seem to have fun in any situation and love to laugh.
My business is great. We just launched my personal web site www.LynneCurtin.com and posted the 2009 line. All the nice complements and encouragement from fans of the show has been more than I could have ever imagined — it's worth all the hard work.
Before joining the cast I had watched the show a few times, but I knew of Laurie through one of my friends and became more interested in the show. But I have always been a fan of Project Runway and BRAVO! Now I'm the show's #1 fan.
The biggest misconception people have of me is that I'm air headed or "high" all the time, which is just crazy. I just don't like to participate in too much drama. I am into health and fitness and being high is the furthest thing from my mind. I happen to work very hard and take good care of my kids. People also think I let my children drink and that is ridiculous. I have never knowingly let them drink or contribute to that at all. As any mom to teenagers - I have an 18 year old TEENAGER - I am trying to make her realize that if she ever did something like drink or get out of control, she should call me instead of making a bad situation worse!
Lynn, I LOVE you, you are the grounding force on the show; thank you for that!! I DO NOT think you are High, that's just another bone of Tamra's rude comments!! You just refuse to get into the "cat" fights with the other women; I would not either, but that makes you a BETTER person........ I hope we see you on your own show soon!!!!
Dear Lynne, I think you should give Frank some support, Tamra was right, he did try to protect you. I know that he lied to you but now isn't the time to fight, you need to pull through and deal with your relationship after you sort out your finances, for the sake of your daughters. I think Kara and Brianna would be good examples to your children, they have money but they still adhere to the rules. You are letting your daughters run wild, and it will affect them later in life. If you think by not being strict, they'll tell you more, you are mistaken. Be a parent. Its your responsibility to make them responsible people who know their actions have consequences, not just with you'll but the world. They will hurt themselves and someone else the way they are going. You need to find the balance between being a parent and a friend. They will thank you later for it. Wish you the best.
At your first dinner out with Frank since your short 'break'... I couldn't help but see the 'looks' shared between both of you-- (Who could help it?)... I mean, c'mon now, :) love was in the air! And, the 'Best' part?... When Frank says, "We don't quit" ~~ Oh yeah (My heart be still)...simpy the 'BEST' Now I ask you... Who wouldn't Love THAT?!~ Really-really Cool! My friends and I just sighed.~ and all agreed that you should engrave one of your bracelets or rings inside with: 'WDQ' = 'We Don't Quit' it's simply classic! and I know many couples who feel the same way. -(Might even become your personal signature/Brand) Hmm who knows? Anyway, we are big fans of you and Frank & family on the show and wish you all the Best!... Keep up the good work Lynne. Love you!
I am praying for you and your girls. You need a new start aand not with a guy who thinks a family vacation when your financals are in the dog house. Live in your means not your wants. God Bless, Ward
Lynne you need to stop blaming frank for all your problems he isnt the only one in this marriage. You need to take your share of the blame. Grow up take care of your bills and stop living beyond your means. Your kids need to grow up and stop acting like spoiled brats you dont have the money to buy them BMWs they will live and learn how to work for what they want get rid of the drama. Frank is trying all you and your girls do is put him down the economy is bad or are you still living in your make believe world where everything is just great. Get a life a real life make your kids get a job and help out the family. if you did they wouldnt have time to be out partying and staying out all night.
I am begging Lynne Curtin to take a breather with her husband Frank. I know the series is just that but if there is any truth to the matter I am begging Lynne to support Frank with his hardships. It's so hard to be the sole supporter in any circumstance but when your partner gives up on you it's tremendous. Please support your husband and understand that you have to give in order to receive. You have nothing to worry about unless you do nothing to help. Please help your daughters realize the same thing. They will have a permanent thorn in their ideas of a good relationship if you don't help them to realize the reality of life. The garden doesn't grow roses unless you tend to it.
Hey Lynn. You are by far MY FAVORITE....I was wanted to get the recipe for the pink cocktail you served at your party... I have a girls weekend coming and those pink cocktails looked delicious. Happy Valentine's Day my beautiful friend.. KG
ha lynn you are so sweet but i think that you better stick to being frenids with grecton cause she really has your back and it seems like you two get along great so just keep that in mind good luck with your business
Ohhhh Lynne. I hope your not as ditzy as you are portrayed on the show. You really walk around with your head in the clouds. When you had your "emotional melt" down at one of the dinner parties, you know who you remind of...your daughter Alexa. You always complain about how emotional she is..well guess what, she comes by it honestly because she get's it from YOU!!! She acts exactly like you. Stop trying to be her friend and act like a parent. No child should ever talk to their parent they way Alexa talked to you. But "you reap what you sow". You raised them to be spoiled brats with little appreciation for anyone or anything but themselves and that's what turned out. BE A PARENT!
Dear Lynne, I first want to start by saying that you are a great mom.I to can relate to what you are going through with your daughter.I also have an 18 year old and have beening through the exact same thing you have since she was 16 years old. When she turned 18 it even got worse than I ever thought it could get. What I dont understand is that she is going to college and is doing very well in school.I am so thankful this and I do tell her so.Every single day all day I think about what else can I do?As like you we didnt raise our children to be so disrespectful. This is whats so baffling to me.It like when she became a teenager all that we taught her about respect was gone.I just want to tell you to stay strong as I also will do.I know it so hard sometimes you just want to give up but we cant.Whether they know it or not they really do need us.Remember my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.Keep up the great work with all that you do.This also means as a mom!Take care Cindy
Gretchen has tried to be a true friend to you!!! I am the mother of 4 wonderful children! you better back off your daughter, she is doing nothing wrong!!!
Lynne: You have a sweet personality. I admire that you don't get totally bent out of shape when fights erupt, you always keep your cool. I wish I had more friends like you.
Lynn, i just wanted to say you're a breath of fresh air and a great role model to females out there (especially compared to women like Tamara!)
You always show respect for others and seem to always rise about the cattiness & back stabbing, you're a beautiful person inside & out & it shows!
Lynn...Just wanted to tell you to keep on keeping it real and being the most down to earth housewife on the show. I love you and Gretchen. I love Jeanna too, but she is kind of 50/50 when it comes to keeping it real.
Vicki and Tamra both need a serious slap. They are haters and they know it. Tamra hates that Gretchen is younger, beautiful and just an all around sweetheart.
Vicki is poisonous. If she can't control she wants no part of you. POOR DONN!!!!! i hope that she realizes she has a diamond in the rough with Donn. She had better watch out as Jeanna may already know that Donn is a diamond in the rough.
Vicki is old, wrinkled and has absolutely no class. Tamra is her puppet on a string.
All in all, love you & Gretchen. Here's to a wonderful season two.
Dear Lynn, I have to agree with the other viewers on how sweet and down to earth you really are. I was with my daughter today and we happened to have seen you at walmart, and I thought rock on Lynn. You don't have to get everything at a high end store. I was so tempted to ask for an autograph, but I thought maybe you just want to shop. My daughter and I hope we run into you again and maybe I'll be brave enough to ask. We hope we didn't pass up a good chance, but we do live around the area and hope to see you again.
Lynne. I think you are a fabulous mom and you are GORGEOUS! It's so nice to see someone sincere on the show. Clearly all the other housewives all treatened by you; why else would they go out of their way to be so rude? They know you have something they don't. Class.
lynne its true its been muuh more fun since u arrived, i watch ya'll all the time, i'm such a fan of u'r bracelets girl-l-l very cool i'd luve to find out where u get u'r fabric and trinkets??????????????by the way if u need anybody to start u'r line in florida write me girl i have great ideas!!!!!! love ya lala
Lynne, Ignore what the others say about you. Your the realist housewife, and i love you. Your awsome. Keep being yourself. There just jelous. Love you girl. Michelle Scarbrough
i like your bracelets but face it for free its even better. however i tryed to get on your site but was not able to find "fan space" could you please help????
Lynne I just adore you! When my husband and I watch you we both feel that our oldest daughter is your same personality and it is refreshing to see that she can stay that way. You have such a sweet personality and are a breath of fresh air on the show. Vicki has issues, as I'm sure you know, I hope you don't let her get to you. If I were you I would walk up to her and slap her across the face. She is being mean and she knows it. It really upset me when she said that you had said mean things about her as well. Anyway good luck with everything, you've got your hands full. It is refreshing to see someone that is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside.
Im so glad somebody real and genuine was on this show. You are a fun spunky lady! I love how in love you and your hubby are! You're relationship gives me hope that one day I will find love that strong. However, I think you would have to agree, your daughter is a spoiled brat and there is a reason that people are commenting on her behavior...i do not condone drinking but that girl needs to learn more about the real world because mom and dad arent always going to be there to guide her.
Also, your mother seems like a great woman! I loved seeing you with your mom on the show. It just shows how genuine and what an extremely kind person you are.
Keep up with the cute outfits! You look great! I hope to see more of you in the future. Maybe Bravo should do a Lynn and Gretchen spin off- you guys are the most relaxed and avoid drama...which i know is impossible- but you still do a great job at it.
Screw these haters lynne, you're the most level-headed one of them all. Im so happy for you and your success
Welcome to the show Lynne!, So nice to see someone more down to earth and real on the show, amongst the Vapid acid laced cocktails that are Vicki and Tamra. You and Gretchen are the standing favorites it seems as i have been through all of the blogs for all of you on the show. Keep up the good work with your family and your business> And make sure Raquel gets a little more realistic about life,Too much sheltering will become over sheltering and she is showing signs of it already. A little Tough love sets the boundry and the message that slacking will not do! See you next season!!
