First of all, she thinks the whole pursuit — and the heavy lifting involved — could have benefits for her already statuesque physique: “I think I’ll get strong really fast from carrying the baby!” she said.
And she’s actually had a fair amount of practice traveling with her non-human offspring already, traveling on the regular with her dog, Girly Girl. She said traveling with a puppy raises a lot of eyebrows, and “people question” her judgement for it — so traveling with a new human should actually come as a relief in comparison. “A baby is more normal than a puppy to travel with,” she said.
That said, In terms of dealing with potential haters inconvenienced by a baby on a plane, Meghan said she won't even be remotely annoyed if strangers do what they have to do. “Babies cry,” she said. “I don’t try to sit next to somebody with a baby. But don’t blame anyone if they get up and move seats if they see me with a baby.”
In fact, she invited would-be seat-movers to have at it: “By all means! More power to you, sister!"
