Good-bye Mama Jeana. You will be missed. As you have all seen Jeana and I don't always see eye to eye. But we are still very good friends. I think Jeana has a very big heart and always takes the side of the underdog. She has shown me that you can care for people even if you don't agree with them. I took her advice and apologized to Gretchen last month. Regardless of who is right and who is wrong, I never should have said the mean things I said to her out of anger and frustration. But from the first three episodes she looks like she is trying to get me back. That's OK with me. I can dish it out so I can take it.
Tonight's episode was very sad for me to watch. Even though Jeana only lives around the corner I felt like she was riding off into the sunset and never coming back. She has always been the backbone to the show and we will miss filming with her. I do understand that there comes a time that you need to move on — five years of exposing your life is a LONG time.
Welcome Bellino family! I was so excited to have Alexis and her family come over for the Fourth of July. We really have become great friends. The kids had so much fun playing in the pool, BBQing, and watching fireworks. Typical 4th of July! I adore Alexis and any woman that can look that good after three kids should get the Hottie award. That takes a lot of work! I am so glad that Alexis and Jim were chosen for the show.
I thought the lingerie party was a success. It felt so good not to have the uncomfortable tension between Gretchen and me. I really did go into this season wanting to make things right. My family is something that I needed to focus on 100%. I didn't need girl drama to add to it. I honestly believe that the world is in such a difficult place right now and it is a time to help each other out, not fight. Of course it is easier said than done.
I do agree with Jim when it came to parading around in lingerie for the camera. I learned that lesson the hard way last season. Simon and Jim both stood strong on that one. I did try on a few things and respected Simon's wishes by NOT walking out in anything reveling.
I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving
