Season 4
Season 3
Welcome back to episode #3. I am writing this from my hotel room in NYC as Jeana and I are here doing press for this season. It's always good to be back to the Big Apple. We were hoping to meet up with Jill Zarin tonight, but she was busy with her daughter, but ironically ran into Bobby's son at Nobu having dinner with his wife. Small world!
We will be on Dr. Phil and Watch What Happens Live on Thursday and also The Wendy Williams Show so try and tune in to watch both of them if you can.
This episode you meet our newest cast member Alexis. When I was told Jeana was going to be leaving and we would have a new member joining this season, I vowed to myself that I would welcome her with open arms. In the past I haven't been too welcoming as I usually was surprised and taken off guard that a new girl was joining our show without prior notice. This time, I was advised ahead of time which made it a lot easier. I don't know why Alexis was intimated or nervous about meeting me, the only thing I can contribute to it is that she had four years of watching me and already had a preconceived opinion of me. I however did not have the opportunity to meet her or know her prior to meeting her the first time at LaPerla, so I had no reason not to like her.
At the LaPerla lingerie party, I thought it was fun, however I wasn't aware the men were going to be there. I was just told to be at the mall around 4PM, but was not told spouses were invited. I was only told we were going to be shopping for lingerie, so it was very uncomfortable for me to have the men in our dressing rooms. Donn was at work, and I ended up just buying a bathing suit and heading out of there as soon as I could.
Vicki Love You! Love Ya! Love Woo Hoo! Now do you understand why Jenna left the show. These girls(using that loosely) are out of your league. Remember the commercial about bringing home the bacon, frying it up in a pan, never let your man forget he's a man. This is a WOMAN!!!!!!!!! Much love, Much success, Many blessing to your daughter. Michelle
You go girl!! I'm happy to hear you and Jeana are rebuilding your friendship. Love Jeana, I think she'll be a better buddy to you than Tamra who seems to be going through alot of changes which hopefully will eventually bring her back around, but sometimes it's good to take breaks in friendships.
love ya and Briana
ps
Woo Hoo Briana loved when you stood up to Alexis and well said chica!!!!
Vicki,
I really hate to say this but, Vicki you were really mean in the past season to Jenna and what comes around goes around. I commend you for changing the way that you were. It takes a big person to do that. I wasn't a fan then I am now.
You don't deserve that you are better than all of those girls. I mean Alexis is a ulgy person and her husband is ulgy as well. She needs to shut her mouth and go on.
Vicki you have more class than all of them. Way to go Vicki and prayers for you and your family during this time of need.
OMG Vicki...I LOVE YOU!!!! WOO HOO
Hi Vickie,
You are what makes me watch the real housewives of the o c. I feel out of all the women you are true to who you are. You have a life that you made on your own and it was not just given to you. And your standard for your kids are the best any one can do. Kids at times are disrespectful but I feel that is natural and you know how to deal with it and turn it around. I admire you.
Vickie, I so admire you. You are someone that women can look up to and be proud.
Vickie, I so admire you. You are someone we women can look up to.
Hey Vicki!
i love ur class. i like that u actually drive yourself away from drama and not focusing on taking a person down 24/7 like Tamra. i enjoy u on the show and wish u and ur family best of luck, comment on u l8r!
Vicki,
You have been my favorite Housewive from the start. I think you are probably the realest member on the "reality" show. Keep on keeping on. You seem to have raised kids with morals, values, and respect and have maintained your success throughout the years of the show. Keep being that strong business woman that other women can look up to... You are not dependent on a man, you are ABLE to provide for yourself and family. That alone is admirable.
Continue to be you!
Vicki, You bring a lot of spark to the show! I haven't always agreed with your opinions but you seem to know what you want and work diligently to get it.
Having once's own business is quite hard at times as you must work much more than 40 hours (when you are the Boss)and the "buck stops at you"! But you seem to get inspired by achieving career and other goals so that is very healthy and makes life interesting.
I notice that you seem more peaceful this season so far and that your Hubby and you are getting along much better! I'm very happy for you two, he seems like a decent guy and marriage is a very worthy institution to hold onto!! Take care...
Vicki, I am a huge fan of the show. I am dying to know what your family does with the soft tacos for dinner one night. It looked like you put them in a sauce pan of hot water. It looks so good.
Thanks,
Linz
Vicki,
Glad that you this season you decided to be a little nicer than the previous seasons. Especially nicer to Don.
I love him and I'm glad that he calls you out when you dog him out. I hope that you will take some time out of your very busy schedule so that you can fill each others "love tank". :-)
Glad that your insurance business is doing well in times such as this. I truly that you have sown into good soil, you family and those that you care for.
I believe that is one reason you are sucessful with your business. I truly admire you.
Best wishes to you this season.
God bless you Vicki
Think you are to cool. Your not fake, stupid or stuckup. Your the real thing and if people dont like it to bad. Your inspiring and make me think of my own life and what i could do to make my life better. I will buy your book and thank you for writing it. zita
Viki,
Love the show!
Wanted to ask where your daughter got the shirt she is wearing in this season's episode when ya'll are packing for your trip to Italy. It is white with blue print of what appears to be a fleur-de-lis on it. I love it and it would be so cute to sport around New Orleans where I live. We love fleur-de-lis down here! Anyway, don't know how you can get this information to me but I appreciate any help you can give me!
Thanks and keep dressing fabulously!
Hello Vicki,
I do enjoy seeing someone who work as hard as you do. This is a realy hard time to have a job, keep a job and most people are blaming others for their missfortune. You go out there work hard and play hard.
I am a mother of two who has a CA life license, please keep in touch if you are looking for a hardworking person in Sacramento area to work with you.
Canan
Thank you, for just buying a swim suit. That was so gross with all the men in the dressing room. Sleeeeezy.
Just watched the clip of your bbq. What have you been doing to your skin?! Geez you are really looking fantastic!
who cares. doesn't lynn have a blog?
What did happen to the assistant you did the makeover on?
Vicki,
I'm glad to hear that you and Jeana have remained friends.
You seem a lot more reserved this season, quieter. I'm also glad that you and your husband are so much closer. He appears to be a very nice man, and seems to truly love you, so keep up the good work.
It cracks me up the way you let the rest of the ladies know that you're the only one who works.
Vicki,
What happened to your assistant from last season that you did the make-over on? Is she still working for you?
Vicki,
I am so thankful that the OC has a dedicated, hard working mamma like you. No kidding. I think you're attitude is misinterpreted, because you're just being real. The others are living in some kind of bubble, and it's popping. Forget the naysayers and keep up the good show. Perhaps they will figure out you're not the demon you sometimes appear after the editing.
vicki, this partially not about the show.
if you could please respond. which school did breanna attend to get her BSN AND RN in 3 years.I am looking into that as a career.
If you could reply i would i appreciate it. thank you
Mona Lisa, in order to operate and develop a successful business, one works many hours a day. It is NOT a 9-5 job. Learn more about this from business owners near you!
Vicki,
Keep up the good work! You are the example that more young girls need to see; a woman with a strong financially independent focus who is successful with her business and makes financial choices based upon her best financial focus. The best part is that you are not trying to live a life focused upon “beauty” real or bought. The images that the young women see in the mainstream media, where they believe that “sex sells” are so much mental propaganda that is fostered by male businessmen (a few times women) who need them to retain this mentality, in order for them to prosper economically.
When men are broke that start focusing upon where they spend their money and they will easy rid themselves of the women who are detracting from the bottom line, not matter how so-called beautiful they are. Women who teach their daughters this lesson are not serving their daughters well. They need to be smarter and notice that Hugh Hefner is the primary profiteer of his bunnies – NOT THE BUNNIES! When they fail to make a profit for Playboy, they are replaced.
Education, independent success and innovation is the road that more women need to take, while looking at TV for what it primarily is – entertainment. Now, who makes the most money here?
Hi Vicki; I see you mentioned the LaPerla lingerie party & how it made you feel uncomfortable having the husbands there. I have to tell you I thought to myself while watching it "The guys are invited ? how strange". It felt out of place to me. My wife goes to lingerie parties from time to time & I nor have the other husbands of my wifes friends ever been invited. It's a girls night out kind of party, kind of put a damper on the event in a way.
Per your friendship with Jeana, all relationships whether they be with friends, husband/wives, children, siblings/parents will have ups/downs. We humans don't always get along with each other. It takes work & a lot of patience and willingness to accept and forgive from time to time. also hard enough doing this without the public eye watching your every move as well as questioning your every word's meaning to boot. Your a good person & you always seem to do the right thing in the end. Total thumbs up to you Vicki.
Have a wonderful thanksgiving,
Brac
vicki, you need to calm down, i love you but your to hyper, , give Don a chance and bring him on vacation!!!!!
you complain he doesn't fill your love tank!!!!!!
Vicki,
I love the passion you have for your family. Some may see it as obnoxious, I see a wonderful wife, and mother. Keep up the good work.
am so sick of watching a bravo show for maybe 2minutes an then a commercial break what the heck is up with that it makes me want to stop watching these shows its disturbing
Vicki, I think everyone says things that they later on regret, but others need to realize that there are reasons for what you say as well, and Jeana hasn't always been the "perfect angel" she claims to be. Love ya vicki keep up the great work ethic!
I agree 100% with what "mmc" wrote. Ditto in all regards!!!!
Vicki,
It's nice to see you a little more relaxed this season and I'm VERY happy you and your hubby are bringing the sparks back. He seems from the show to be a very good man. I'm proud of your success and independence. I liked when you said on episode 2 Tamara should get a job :) I do however think you need still tone it down some. I'm glad to see on your blog you and Jeana are mending fences and bonding. You've used some pretty harsh words and you should be fortunate she's still accepting you into her life. Other than that keep spoiling your family and America entertained!
Christine
Vicki,
You seem like your more grounded this year. However you still have a big lesson to learn. Putting Jeana's business out-there was so wrong. Good luck to you in the future because you are so going to need it.
It was definatley sad to see a decline in your relationship with Jeana. But it's really never a good idea to mix friends with money. Especially when its millions of dollars. I can understand when it's like $20 for a meal or for some clothes but leasing and buying houses...never a good idea. Also, i understand that they edit the show and some comments are taken out of context, but did you really have to put it out there that Jeana asked for financial help from you? I mean she was your friend, she or any of your friends would never do you like that. It was very sad to watch. It just wasn't classy. It is good to hear that things are better between you two, but just be careful.. karma always bite you in the bum!
All of you need to get out and do some Yoga.
It will do your soul some good.
Since when did these blogs become advertisements?
I saw some of the Dr. Phil show and was impressed with the way you handle your finances and your kids. I just wish you would have a little empathy for Jeana and Lynn.We never know when we'll end up in the same place.I know because I am in that place and mine has a lot to do with illness.Be thankful for what you have and reach out to Jeana or down the road you really will regret it.It really is true that what goes around comes around.Be nice to Donn, he's a keeper. If you don't appreciate him someone else will!
Vicki,
I saw you, Jeana and Lynne on the Dr.Phil show regarding finances. That was a good show and you came out in very good standing as far as financial planning and giving your kids an understanding of their own financial responsibility unlike the others that just give, give, give when they no longer have!
It's good to see you and Donn getting along better, however, I still don't see how you have any time together because in my opinion, your work defines you and you are married to you work.
It saddens me to see your friendship decline with Jeana.
Vicki I like you a lot even though you are a little tough on the new girls. You are independent, smart, successful, and beautiful. You seem to be big hearted and that you are a loyal friend.
I wish I was half as successful as you are. I have 4 kids, 2 are twins with autism. Do you have any advise for me to make be half as successful as you are? Of course with none of the money to back me up.
You are a friend in my head as Wendy Williams would say. We kick it and make each other laugh. I don't get out much, I live through ya'll on t.v..
Love your Woo Hoo!!
VICKI IS MY FAV HOUSEWIFE....
I'm a fifth season fan and have watched you every year. You seem so much more rooted and calm. Why is that? Me and my girlfriends think you and Jeana are way more mature than the other girls. We will miss her on the show. We read somewhere online you are really focusing on your business and are working with a life coach in Arizona. That is really cool and we look up to that alot. Please keep Facebooking other inspiring things.
Cristy
Hi Vicki,
I don't know who told you it takes seven years to get a BSN, because it doesn't: like any bachelor's, it shouldn't take more than four years. Good for your daughter that she did it in three years.
Although I appreciate your work ethic, you don't have to rub it in to the other women who are right now in our down economy. You will never know what tomorrow holds for you, so it's good to be nice and generous to others.
I am so glad to hear that you and Jeana are doing well. It was heartbreaking for me to hear you call her toxic and announcing to the world that she asked to borrow money from you.
Too many women over emphasize how awesome it is that Vicki is working hard and making it financially. If she is so awesome, then why is she working so hard. Why is she not leveraging her time. I thought the point of being in business for yourself was to have more time freedom and the finances to do what you want , whenever you want. Working 8 hours plus a day doesn't seem to smart to me. Peace and Love. Vicki, be the change that you want to see in the world.
