Jeana: Virgo

What's keeping Jeana Keough busy? Astrology, dog trainers, and TiVo!

This episode was a lot of fun because of that astrology party at Vicki's house. There are also those scenes where Kara and Colton go back-to-school shopping with my credit card, and everyone gets to see Matt go head-to-head with the dog trainer. The astrologer told me that he thinks that I think people wish I would bottle things in. I am very opinionated and always try to solve problems. I think that is were Kara get's her negotiating skills from. People came from everywhere to have my Dad fix their cars; he was an engineer overseeing 300 women, and at night he was a fireman. I think I take after him.

Kara and Colton always shop together. In fact, Kara actually picks out a lot of my stuff too. She has great taste. Steven's mother, Paula, always takes Kara shopping to pick out Steven's stuff too. She has such a special relationships with her; they get pedicures together and go to dinner at least once a week together. It really helps having such a special future mother in-law and I am sure there friendship has made Steven's going away to college easier. I never get upset with Kara's spending, she knows if she over does it she will be taking things back. She is responsible and works hard for her money. She is Vicki's personal assistant. I am thrilled that Kara takes over some of my duties. It was not included in the show that they bought me some stuff that day as well. I picked out some things before I left. My own kids wouldn't rob me — $700 on two kids for back to school shopping is not outrageous.

More screen-time for the dogs too. The decision to hire Inger (the dog trainer) was an easy one. The dogs were running the house. They decide what time everyone gets up and started being destructive. It was time to put an end to it. I know it frustrated Matt — and he didn't behave as well as anyone would have liked. Matt didn't enjoy the cameras this year, it upset him how the children seemed to key it up for the cameras, he likes quiet kids and no confusion. Matt feels I enjoy the new spotlight too much, Vicki and I get asked out to a lot of fun things, he and Donn don't always feel like going. They work outside the home and Vicki and I are ready to go out in the evenings because we work in the house. It causes conflict in both our houses. There have been a lot of questions about my marriage, we have issues like any normal couple, and there are times when we love the separation his job brings.

Matt has been trying to make an effort to spend time with me but after his 10-20 mile workout he is pretty happy to plant himself in front of his TV and escape. We both are addicted to TiVo! I escape to candles and bathtubs and a good book. Kara usually joins me and washes her hair in my extra large shower — while I soak in the Jacuzzi — a few minutes of one-on-one time for the girls, while the boys hit off the T (batting practice), play basketball, and swim. Kara has earplugs so the boys can shoot hoops after she goes to bed; she is the first to bed and the first to rise.

But here's the crazy part: Kara and I had a dramatic day yesterday. A motorcyclist got hit on the freeway, flew through the air in a perfect summersault and landed in the carpool lane. Kara and I slammed on our brakes and had him crawl into the car. We called 911 and told them of the accident, ordered a tow truck for his ruined bike left in the car pool lane, gave them his name and birthdate (he was coherent), and that we were taking him to the nearest hospital. The 911 operator when asked for our info, for witness purposes, heard Jeana Keough and promptly asked Kara if I was the one from The Real Housewives. Turns out she was a fan! Reality is stranger then fiction! We get him to St John's and he is really starting to hurt, shock protects you for a few minutes. Wheel him in a wheel chair to the first available Triage nurse. Tell her we have a downed motorcyclist hit on the freeway, she takes one look at Kara and I tells us "I watch way to much TV and I never miss a show, love the show, how is Shane?" In the meantime, our poor motorcycle man is going into shock and probably felt like he was in reality TV hell. We are enormously thankful that our hapless friend will live to tell the story of being abducted on the freeway by two reality TV Stars.

We read in the paper today that a 24-year-old was killed in almost the same spot Friday after getting out of his car following an accident. As he got out of his car, he was hit by a passing vehicle, hit and run. It is another life lesson I was happy to be able to teach my daughter, so many of our children are not prepared to deal with emergencies. And too many teenagers have gotten out of the car on a freeway in a minor fender bender or flat tire to exchange ins info only to die. Drive to the side destroy the rim of your car, get to an exit. Cars going 70 is not the place to have a conversation. I credit the above to my years of training, I am the daughter of a fireman and three of my brothers were fireman — I can get dressed in under two minutes! See you next week!

Lizzie: Tamra Doesn't Fight Fair

Lizzie thinks Tamra's comments about her children were meant to deflect from her own problems.

Happy Labor Day!!! I am going to make this blog short and sweet. It’s a holiday and I am going to be spending the day with family in Newport wearing a Sun Kitten and a smile. I hope you all are having a great holiday weekend.

To be honest, the second half of the Reunion was hard to watch. I think it got too ugly. I am not going to insult any of your intelligence in explaining this episode. We all know that misery loves company, and "projection" is as easy to spot as a $2 dollar bill. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that everything miserable that comes out of Tamra's mouth is a direct reflection of what is going on in her life. In my opinion, children are off limits. It's quite apparent that Tamra does not fight fair and when all else fails she will throw your kids, marriage, and even your body under the bus in an attempt to hurt you. We filmed the reunion for over 10 hours and after listening to so much ugliness my heart just couldn't take it anymore.

I do not regret telling Shannon all the things that Tamra said about her. Everything I shared with Shannon was something that happened and was said on camera. I didn't take anything and create unnecessary drama. I would do it again in a heartbeat and I would think my friends would do the same for me. I simply did not know the truth about Tamra. Danielle told me all the things Tamra said about me. That is why after my birthday I was so hurt by her. It's hard for viewers to understand because these things weren't in the show. She could have called me and said she wasn't coming. I called her after sitting on the bus for over an hour. The next day she made fun of me to Danielle, in addition to asking plenty of questions looking for negative details regarding my party.

On that one-year free membership to Cut Fitness: Let's delve into this shall we? I was the one that contacted Tamra days after my party. She did not contact me to give me present. I had invited Tamra, Eddie, Danielle, Joe, Heather, and Terry to the Kentucky Derby and Tamra was the only person that had not sent in the RSVP. It was past the deadline and it was getting borderline rude at this point. Tamra, in fact, was making fun of the Kentucky Derby and the charity event that would be hosting us to Danielle. So, I reached out to Tamra regarding the Kentucky Derby and she texted me back saying, "I want to give you a free membership to CUT for your birthday." Tamra knows I am already a member to a sports club and that was the last I heard of this "free membership." I never received any kind of certificate or card for membership. I suppose she thought I would have the gall to show up and say, "I got a text message from Tamra for a free membership!" It's almost laughable. Needless to say, I don't go to her gym and she didn't attend the Kentucky Derby with me.

There is nothing else to say regarding the Shag, Marry, Kill game that I haven't already discussed in great length in any of my previous blogs. I said the word "marry" and that's that. Tamra even glared at me on the way out of the Valentine's Party and repeated it. "Marry you?" Tamra has said multiple times she couldn't even remember because she drank too much and there are even text messages where she says it too. Her story changes continually, like the words that come out both sides of her mouth.

During the Reunion, Tamra said many more hurtful things that you didn't see. She went on to talk about my son Preston and my marriage. We all remember the episode in the park where Preston hit me on the head with his elephant. He was asleep in the car and he had a mini temper tantrum. He was three -- it happens. I would assume most mothers have had it happen at some point. In addition, my husband and I got in a fight on my birthday. I feel awful about it, yet it made us closer. I just wanted what every woman wants -- to feel special because of her man. I am a big time believer in learning from your mistakes and that won't ever happen again. However none of those incidents had anything to do with Tamra. But on her quest to hurt everyone, she managed to drag in some irrelevant topics. I know it's all to deflect from what's going on in her life and to make someone else look bad. . .but it does hurt nonetheless. My babies and my marriage are my life so I guess her goal was to attack the things closest to my heart because she can't fight fair.

I hope you enjoyed this season and I hope you had a fabulous summer!!! The fall is my absolute favorite time of year, so I say bring on football and cooler weather.
