A Good Start

Quinn Fry looks back on the third season of Real Housewives, and says a big thank you to fans!

What can I say? The season is over and just as I was starting to get the hang of it!

A huge thank you to Bravo and Evolution for our very special treatment on the day that we filmed the reunion show. I felt like a "star" complete with our names on our dressing room doors and wonderful wrapped gifts, even one from Tiffany! What woman doesn't love those Tiffany blue boxes?

It was an amazing experience, and looking back I'm a little sad that it's now over. I am really happy that I've gotten the chance to spend some quality time getting to know the other housewives and they are not nearly as scary as I once thought. In fact, last week Jeana and I went to a charity fund-raiser event at the Honda Center. Also last week Tammy, Megan, Lindsey, and I met up for some fun at a very silly OC Bachelor Auction. My pal Debbie and I went in halves and bid on Duff! Ha — that was interesting I must say. Now I hear that Duff is married. What gives? I had a blast hanging out with Tammy and her girls at 3 Thirty 3 restaurant afterwards. Jared was also up for auction that night and I was the one that actually auctioned him off! To me!? Ha! I'll just say that together we are too much fun. Anyway, never a dull moment here in the OC. Jared and I are planning on heading to Malibu for brunch soon. I'm glad that I met him, he always makes me smile and he is a such a doll! No, I am not "dating" Jared, he is a friend of mine, nothing more.

I've gotten myself back into the gym and with the help of my good friend Gina Adams at She worked me out very HARD with weight training and cardio, and I have lost 27 lbs so far! Here is when I do a Vicki: WOOOOO-HOOOOO! I'm still working out hard and watching my carbs to get in even better shape. Who knows — maybe next season I'll give Tamra a run for her money for the "Hottest Housewife in the OC" comment ... just kidding.

Since the filming is over, I've been spending most of my free time with my family and friends. I haven't really gotten back out in the dating world just yet, although I've had opportunities. I just think I need a break to work on me. I'm feeling VERY good about things right now and am looking forward to this year. Colin will graduate this year and that's exciting. He is such a talented, strong, yet sweet young man and I am blessed to have him. I went up to Eureka and got to spend time with Shannon over the Christmas holiday. Sigh. I sure miss her truckloads! Maybe next season you can meet my beautiful daughter.

Finally, I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to all the RHoOC fans. I'm sure that it wasn't easy letting me into your circle so late in the game. I'm new and I know it took everyone awhile to get to know me. Thank you also for all your words of encouragement and support in your e-mails and on the blogs. Don't be too hard or judgmental towards us — this is all just meant to be fun and entertaining TV.

If you'd like, you can keep up with me a few different ways. My page on MySpace can be found at I'm also on Facebook. I just recently created a new website at that I'll soon post OC happenings, pictures, and just general "Quintessential" fun type of things.

XOXOXO & God Bless,

Shannon Settles the Score

If Andy's asking "What's the score, Shannon Beador?" Shannon thinks she's definitely won.

This is Blog #20, my last Blog for the season! The past year was been a wild ride for both me and for my family. I have come to many realizations about myself, made lifelong friends, experienced some tough moments, and embarked on a path to a more peaceful self. So to use Andy’s phrase, “What's the score, Shannon Beador?” I would say without a doubt that I have definitely won.

I am happy that the viewers got a little glimpse into my sometimes unconventional ways! For me, it's all about good energy. I love that Vicki’s business has clearly benefited from trying feng shui with Elaine Wright. If you can't get hurt, there is no reason to try anything holistic. If you actually benefit, why wouldn't anyone want to go the natural way? If my children tend to feel better after seeing Dr. Moon and not have to take antibiotics, then I am a happy mom. It's all about creating a healthy balance!

I am an open book and am often criticized for it, but I am who I am. I don't know many couples married for 13 years that have a perfect relationship. Everyone has ups and downs, and although it may be difficult and require effort, it is possible to move through it and make things better. I have said it many times in the season that divorce is not an option. I will always fight for my marriage and my family. It truly touches my heart that so many fans have been and continue to root for David and I. I am so appreciative and grateful for all of your positive comments! Thank you!

Do Tamra and Heather truly want to move forward and potentially develop a friendship with me? Only time will tell. But for now, I have amazing friends surrounding me, including Vicki Gunvalson and Lizzie Rovsek. And most importantly, I have been blessed with the most incredible family anyone could ask for. That is where all of my energy is focused.

I will never forget this entire year, both the good and the bad, because each moment took me on the journey to where I am today. And today, I am in a phenomenal and happy place. Thank you for taking this journey with me!

Please follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook! XOXOXO
