Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Hello! I'm Tamra, and I'm the newest housewife to join the cast. I can't figure out how it happened really. It was fast. My friend Pam emailed me an online casting application. I jokingly filled it out and the next thing I know there were cameras in my house. It was a 2 month process of elimination and to my surprise I was chosen out of thousands of women.

A little about me. I was born and raised in California. I grew up in LA county in Glendora. When I was about 25, I moved to Orange County and have been here ever since. This is the year that I turn 40. And it happens to be the same year that I am on this show.

And so, you've been introduced to my family. We're a close bunch. Ryan and I are extremely close — it was just the two of us for many years. I was upset that Ryan moved out at such a young age, but it was his choice. We have watched him struggle being on his own for the past 3 years and it broke my heart. I was so happy that he moved back and has been able to spend more time with his brother and sisters.

I'm sure that people will want to know how it all broke down in the first place between Ryan and Simon. At 13, Ryan's attitude was getting out of control and he had NO respect for ANY authority. The worse Ryan got, the harder Simon tried. Simon has tried to help Ryan out so many times and he just never seems to appreciate it. I think as Ryan gets older , he will realize that Simon is doing this out of love.

There's a lot to look forward to this season. You defiantly see a lot of drama with Simon and Ryan. I will be having my big 40th birthday party. The camera's will be following me for a...well, a pretty special trip. Watch What Happens.
