The Ferrari, Ryan, and Work

If Quinn wants to date younger guys, Tamra Barney's all for it. She explains why.

We had a great time visiting Simon at work, I try to visit him a couple times a month so we go to lunch. This was the first time the kids had visited Simon at Fletcher Jones. They were amazed at all the fun things the dealership had to smoothies, video games and golf. And it was a total surprise running into Ryan in the parking lot at work. I wasn't expecting to see him since it was his first week working and I didn't want to bother him. It was time for Ryan to go back to work, he had been off work for 60 days and his money was starting to run out. I'm sure he drained his bank account!

I don't know what the future holds for Ryan, I just hope he finds something that he loves and can make enough money to enjoy his life. Ryan has had many jobs since he turned 16, mostly in the car business. Ryan's passion has always been cars, I guess you can say it runs in our family . My father owned a car business for 30 years, I still remember Ryan walking around his shop with a wrench help his grandfather at 3-years-old. I know working in the parts department is not the position Ryan trained for, but now he has his foot in the door. I am proud that he took a lesser paying job in the hopes he will move up when the opportunity is available.

Fletcher Jones is a HUGE dealership, it's rare that Simon and Ryan run into each other at work. Unless it is at the coffee shop getting a cappuccino. I love that they work together, in some way it does bring them closer together. They now have a common ground , something they both can talk about. I know deep down inside Ryan appreciates what Simon is doing for him, after all he is follow in his step-daddy's footsteps. I guess you can say it is not common to sell a house with a $250,000 Ferrari included. However, in today's market people are throwing in incentives to help sell their homes, like a hard to get luxury car. It IS common for sellers to offer broker incentives like trips or offering your broker a bonus to move your property. I personally think price discounts are the most effective way to get your house sold in today's housing market, "Buyers have become more educated and they can easily cut through the fluffy incentives, buyers just want price!" And in regards to my comment about Quinn: I was not directing the comment about being "super hot" to Quinn — I was talking about COUGARS in general. (Gotta love those editors) Unhappy I am NOT, smart ass I AM.

If Quinn wants to date young boys then more power to her. I know it must be hard for her being single for the past 15 years. I was a single mom myself for many years until I found MY GUY. I wouldn't want to change places with her. I do wish her all the love in the world. She is a wonderful woman and deserves only the best. I don't think dating young guys is something I would be interested in. I just don't know what I would have in common with them. But I have learned to say "never say never" and "to each their own."

Shannon Settles the Score

If Andy's asking "What's the score, Shannon Beador?" Shannon thinks she's definitely won.

This is Blog #20, my last Blog for the season! The past year was been a wild ride for both me and for my family. I have come to many realizations about myself, made lifelong friends, experienced some tough moments, and embarked on a path to a more peaceful self. So to use Andy’s phrase, “What's the score, Shannon Beador?” I would say without a doubt that I have definitely won.

I am happy that the viewers got a little glimpse into my sometimes unconventional ways! For me, it's all about good energy. I love that Vicki’s business has clearly benefited from trying feng shui with Elaine Wright. If you can't get hurt, there is no reason to try anything holistic. If you actually benefit, why wouldn't anyone want to go the natural way? If my children tend to feel better after seeing Dr. Moon and not have to take antibiotics, then I am a happy mom. It's all about creating a healthy balance!

I am an open book and am often criticized for it, but I am who I am. I don't know many couples married for 13 years that have a perfect relationship. Everyone has ups and downs, and although it may be difficult and require effort, it is possible to move through it and make things better. I have said it many times in the season that divorce is not an option. I will always fight for my marriage and my family. It truly touches my heart that so many fans have been and continue to root for David and I. I am so appreciative and grateful for all of your positive comments! Thank you!

Do Tamra and Heather truly want to move forward and potentially develop a friendship with me? Only time will tell. But for now, I have amazing friends surrounding me, including Vicki Gunvalson and Lizzie Rovsek. And most importantly, I have been blessed with the most incredible family anyone could ask for. That is where all of my energy is focused.

I will never forget this entire year, both the good and the bad, because each moment took me on the journey to where I am today. And today, I am in a phenomenal and happy place. Thank you for taking this journey with me!
