On the Road Again

Jeana Keough talks road trips, Valentine's Day plans, and more!

This week's episode with Frankie, Kara and I driving back to school was a lot more fun then the editing showed. I was only grouchy for a little bit of the drive — the rest was fun and laughter. We stopped for a fun lunch at a vegetable stand and had a great dinner with Cheryl and Dan, our San Francisco friends, that night. Thanks Dan and Jeremey for helping to move all that stuff — Frankie just points where he wants it. Kara's new penthouse is amazing...amazingly expensive. I love it and she is very happy there. Frankie’s furniture looks great. Kara is still torn if she is going to stay there next year or transfer to UCLA. I hope she stays for 2 more years — I hate the thought of moving again.

Kara's new penthouse is amazing...amazingly expensive.

I am spending Valentine's Day with Uncle Richie and my single girlfriends. He is taking us to the Montage Hotel. Kara is flying in to be with Blair on Valentine's Day. She is such a romantic girl — it is her favorite holiday of all. Vicki and Tamra and I are having Valentine’s lunch together at the Ritz Carlton. I am having caviar!

I loved seeing Tamra visit her Dad — it was great to see their efforts to make up. The flooding was horrible — it really hits home to see that so soon after we had devastating fires. It makes me appreciate every day.

Vicki’s cruise looked like a lot of fun. It was sad Michael didn’t want to learn and be part of the event. I know we always want our children to be a part of our lives, but kids can be selfish. Vicki already has another cruise planned. I don’t know where she gets all that energy. Both Vicki and I are still working out and using our Duzoxin — most of my girl friends are using it too. I had a busy week listing property, leasing homes and hopefully selling a few. The market is improving. The foreclosures sell fast, interest rates are low.

Watch what happens and I am sure no one will ever want to date me again! I am destined to be single forever!

I am glad Gretchen had fun in Dallas. Her girlfriends seemed really nice. It is always fun to connect with your past. I am off to West Palm Beach next week to Anushska’s Spa, so I will miss the final episode. The final party was great so be sure to tune in, and check out my Uli Project Runway dress I wore. I got it at Glitter Girl in Rancho Santa Margarita — she gets original dresses from the Project Runway stars. I am off to drive to Arizona tomorrow to see Shane and help set up an apartment there. Scottsdale is a great place and I can see why Shane loves it.

Next week it shows me going on a date. Having a date with cameras and microphones, knowing your ex and kids are going to be watching was really uncomfortable. Watch what happens and I am sure no one will ever want to date me again! I am destined to be single forever!

Shannon Settles the Score

If Andy's asking "What's the score, Shannon Beador?" Shannon thinks she's definitely won.

This is Blog #20, my last Blog for the season! The past year was been a wild ride for both me and for my family. I have come to many realizations about myself, made lifelong friends, experienced some tough moments, and embarked on a path to a more peaceful self. So to use Andy’s phrase, “What's the score, Shannon Beador?” I would say without a doubt that I have definitely won.

I am happy that the viewers got a little glimpse into my sometimes unconventional ways! For me, it's all about good energy. I love that Vicki’s business has clearly benefited from trying feng shui with Elaine Wright. If you can't get hurt, there is no reason to try anything holistic. If you actually benefit, why wouldn't anyone want to go the natural way? If my children tend to feel better after seeing Dr. Moon and not have to take antibiotics, then I am a happy mom. It's all about creating a healthy balance!

I am an open book and am often criticized for it, but I am who I am. I don't know many couples married for 13 years that have a perfect relationship. Everyone has ups and downs, and although it may be difficult and require effort, it is possible to move through it and make things better. I have said it many times in the season that divorce is not an option. I will always fight for my marriage and my family. It truly touches my heart that so many fans have been and continue to root for David and I. I am so appreciative and grateful for all of your positive comments! Thank you!

Do Tamra and Heather truly want to move forward and potentially develop a friendship with me? Only time will tell. But for now, I have amazing friends surrounding me, including Vicki Gunvalson and Lizzie Rovsek. And most importantly, I have been blessed with the most incredible family anyone could ask for. That is where all of my energy is focused.

I will never forget this entire year, both the good and the bad, because each moment took me on the journey to where I am today. And today, I am in a phenomenal and happy place. Thank you for taking this journey with me!
