How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

Welcome back to the near ending of season five. Are you ready for it to be over yet? It's definitely bittersweet for my family and me.

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone for being so kind with your messages inquiring about Briana. She received a benign diagnosis yesterday on her thyroid test which is amazing news. The bad news is, the doctor does not know if the nodules or thyroid are 100% clean from cancer, so he is recommending we see a surgeon to discuss having her thyroid and over 30 nodules removed. Briana really wants to have the surgery to be able to put this behind her, but I just want to be sure it's the right thing for her so I'm doing a lot of research. Again, thank you everyone for sending her your prayers, good well wishes, books and cards. We are in awe of the amount of people that are so caring and so generous in this time of uncertainty.

I also wanted to thank everyone for all the emails and phone calls my office and I have received about my book More than a Housewife. Some of your messages have brought tears to my eyes when you tell me how much my book has inspired you and has changed your lives. That was my goal, to let my viewers see the vulnerable side of me, the compassionate side of me, and how I was able to grow and learn from my trials and tribulations. It has been all worth it to know how many lives I have touched by discussing my "life lessons." If you are interested in purchasing it, please visit my website at www.morethanahousewifebook.com and let me know what you think of it when you're done.

It was fun to have Jeana stop by on this week's episode to talk about where she is in her life and how it used to be when we filmed together. I have always said that even though Jeana and I had our differences, I loved and respected her through it all. We always had each other's best interest at heart, even though at times the camera didn't capture all the apologies that we gave one another. When Jeana, Lauri and I filmed we were all around the same age, had the same aged children and really felt we were all equally yoked (as some would say). Now with the 30 somethings joining our group, it seems to have turned into a different type of show and we have become unequally yoked and therefore has caused a lot of drama and heartache.

When Tamra called me the day before her get together for her birthday party, I told her at that time I could NOT go as I was seeing clients all day at Coto Insurance. I cannot just leave my office in the middle of the day to go to lunch when I have client meeting booked. That would be disrespectful to the people that have made their appointments with me over a week ago to just cancel at the last minute to say "I have to go to lunch." I bought Tamra a great yellow clutch purse and told David (who was also invited) from my office to go and represent both of us. I don't understand why these women don't get it. I guess she/they won't until she's in my shoes…lunch is secondary to clients and client meetings.

Regarding Gretchen's makeup line, all I can say is I wish her well. I know it must be very scary launching a makeup line when you have never done it before. I have to imagine that it is taking a huge amount of money, and one has to wonder if Jeff didn't leave her anything, how does she afford to do it? Again - doesn't add up does it?

My work has kept me very busy lately and I'm proud to say Michael is doing great and is consistently one of my top agents every week. If you don't have life insurance, it's time to look into it. We represent every major company in the United States, and we guarantee you the lowest rates available. Please don't go without insurance if you are the breadwinner, or if you are a single parent. What would your kids or family do if you passed away unexpectedly?

Also, if you have been laid off from your job and you don't know what to do with your 401K or if you TIRED of seeing it go up and down without any reason - please visit my website at www.cotofinancialplanning.com. I have just been awarded the top 1% of all insurance professionals in the world (MDRT TOP OF THE TABLE) and can guarantee you that your life's savings is my specialty. I am a Master Elite IRA Specialist with Ed Slott's group which means I've been trained by the best. I'm here to help you if you need me to

See you next week - we're winding down there's just a few more episodes.

Warmly,
Vicki Gunvalson
