Season 5
Season 4
Season 3
Well after a crazy week with my baby teething, this probably won't be my most exciting blog. It feels like the days of a colicky newborn again. So tough. Exhausted.
It was a lot of fun to watch Jim and Alexis in San Diego with their kids! Micah and I love taking the girls to the zoo and new and interesting places in general. And it was nice to see Jim interacting with the kids so much. Alexis is a great mom and definitely good at doting over Jim. I was laughing over all her luggage, because I have traveled with her and she loves having lots of bags! Gotta love it!
I had a great time shoe shopping and having drinks with Gretchen and Alexis. No drama! When I told the girls about me and Micah going in the closet if London is in our bed and then Alexis said she and Jim do the same thing, I didn't think she was being competitive. Funny how things can look so different! And the comment Gretchen made about me caught me off guard. Not nice, but in her defense, I have gotten to know her pretty well and am sure she wouldn't have said that now. It was amusing because my dress was classy and barely above my knees, but they showed me pulling it up to check out the thigh high boots I was trying on. Well regardless, I think I look pretty darn good for having a baby and a three year old!
The scene of me with my mother-in-law was very fun to watch. She is an amazing person and a healer, and she has helped me so much the past few years. You will probably see more of how she helps me later in the season. It is very important to me to live a holistic lifestyle and take care of my body from the inside out. Melinda has an amazing practice and helps children with autism, ADHD and other learning disabilities. She helps adults with diets, energy healing, hormone therapy and numerous other things! I will be starting to suggest supplements etc. for babies on my website very soon. Some of my reactions in that scene make it seem like I was freaked out by what she was saying, but this was not the case! I completely trust her opinion on everything and am thankful to have her as my second mom.
Welcome !!! I think you are great :) The whole holistic thing is pretty cool, I want to look into it. You are too cute !!!!
Hi Peggy! It' s so nice to see U getting along with your mother in law. U usually hear about all the problems between mother and daughter in laws so it's refreshing to see. I can totally see Alexis coming off as competative. It's a shame she didn't want her friend to be on the show from the begining. Someone who is secure with herself would welcome the idea. She has a lot of growing up to do thats for sure, I'm getting sick of her arrogant "I'm such a Christian" attitude. I think U Vicky and Tamra make a great team.
peggy..I unfortunately don't feel that you are contributing any positivity to this years season of the housewives. I was not a fan of the catty comments you made about Alexis last week either.
Peggy, It was great to see your holistic approach to parenting. I presently do not have children but I try my best to avoid antibiotics and do what I can holistically for my husband and I presently - however, I am not over the top. I was just wondering what you have found to be effective, as a routine, for children. It was great to hear your children havent been sick as so many little kids are constantly sick from random little things. The scene with your mother in law was too funny. I am into the approach, but that was quite the serious approach :) Looking forward to your response.
P.S. What do you find a good routine for a woman in terms of holistic routine - I presently take flax or fish oil every day in capsules - anything beyond that for a 30 yr old woman. Thanks!
Peggy, I am green with envy that you have such a great mother-in-law to use as a resource. I hope to see more of her this season. I have a child with high-functioning autism. In fact, it's so high-functioning, all she really needs is a tweak in her nutrition and supplementation regimen. Her only problem right now is listening, which I refuse to medicate. If Melinda has a book or a website, I would love to read/visit them.
Oh....and you seem pretty cool as well.
Peggy I think you are fun and honest, but I know you have it in you to be catty (I can see it) however I like you and can't wait to see more of your. Lastly, I thought it was hilarious what you said about Gretchen with the big hair, texas comment....lol! Its also totally cool to brush off her bitch comment. Can't wait to see the drama with you and Alexis, I hope you bring it with her. love ya!
So if Tamra is 42 and Eddie is 37, then that means you are lying about your age. My husband walked in the room as I watched last week's episode and thought your husband was your son. I would have guessed late 40's. Get Real, Peggy!
Peggy, I also told Gretchen her comment about your dress was not nice, and unnecessary. I thought you looked very cute and the dress was great on you...the boots too, LOL! Anyhow, nice to have you on the show and look forward to seeing more of you. I also hope you and Alexis stay friends and if not, patch up your friendship as you are both nice people and maybe a bit misunderstood.
Peggy,
You are so jealous of Alexis! It is so obvious. She's not competing with you. How childish to keep saying that. If you keep looking at your life as a competition with peers who happen to be as beautiful as you are, it is going to be a very exhausting and miserable life indeed. You need to be more careful with your words.
And this show will not make you famous. As with ALL the Real Housewives, this is just your 15 minutes that is dragged out. In the end you will wish you still had your real, core friends in your lifel. Once the cameras are gone, the so-called new "friends" you have replaced your "real" friends with (for the sake of a reality show) will disappear on you. They will all be gone. Poof!
Be gracious & kind. That's the lasting memory you want to leave behind.
Peggy you are a great addition. I would love to know both you and your mother-in-law Be well honey!!
Peggy you are great on the show and I can tell your husband is into your kids and love his family I can't say the same for alexia husband he didn't even want his only son to ride with him in the car smh..... I love you on the show great addition
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to let others see the hollistic approach , I'm doing the same for my Family and myself , hope others will learn from you and your Mother in law. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
I like you...you keep it real. It was so funny you shot that Barretta at the gun range and the very next night I shot mine at the Citizens Police Academy I'm attending! I've had it for years and have never taken it out of the box. It just is soooo small I couldn't aim well. I did shoot a .22 and that was okay but I really like the .38 Special. A gal brought her's to the class and it was pink!! Too funny! I told her I want a blue one! (btw, I do have a FOID card and have nothing but respect for guns!) Have you noticed when Gretchen drinks she's obnoxious? She says stupid things all the time, ignore her. I surely hope you and Alexis find your way back to each other, you two are great gals! My friends and I always talked about our children's progress and our own experiences with hubbys and kids and we never took it as competition. Glad you are friendly with Vicki but she is probably one of the most insecure person I have ever seen, or at least she comes across that way. Especially last year. She luuuvs the center of all attention. I find her....well, just ugh! Sorry! Can't help it! Just don't piss most of these gals off, they will make your life hell!!! PS Your babies are sooo cute!! So is your hubby!
This weeks blog is much nicer than what you wrote last week. I did really love the scene with you and your mother-in-law. She seems so fun! You have lovely children. Oh and I didn't think of Gretchen as meaning you when she mentioned the boots, because you are hardly old.
Have you ever been to Texas because the fact you are making a blanket statement that we all have big hair I find rude and offensive. Invite you to come to Dallas and see that women here are just as stylish as those in the OC. Besides Gretchen is from CA so you must have a lot of big hair out there.
Peggy, The jury for me is still out as to how I think you will be on this show. You seem really nice and seem to be a very patient person. However, friends with Tamara and Vicki really. They will turn on you in a minute. They have been friends for a long time and they really don't like each other. Vicki seems so phoney around her. Alexis is a better friend and you will find that out. Good luck to you.
Peggy-I think a lot of us would love to hear more about your approach to natural remedies verses medication. I am trying to be healthier in all aspects-not just eating-and I HATE taking medication to make me feel better. I hope we see and/or hear more about it on the show, your blogs, or on your website!
Peggy,
I think you and Alexis are competing with each other. i cant figure out why? you are great and so is Alexis. If either of you get any skinnier we are going to have to have a pow wow. Its all too much for me, but what do I know? Your husband is hotter than hers though, ill admit that. I love how you toot your own horn in your blog, about looking pretty darn good. I would too if I didnt eat.
So glad you are on the show! You seem "real" and am grateful that you have talked about having a colicky baby and living a natural/healthy lifestyle. you look great to have just had a baby and I look forward to hear you secrets of how you were able to do it. blessings to you and your family
Peggy...great addition to show. What is the SUV you and your husband drive in last weeks episode? Love it!
I found your comment about Gretchen looking like she's from Texas to be hilarious! Especially since you look alot like Jerry Hall, who is PURE Texas! Hello, pot? meet kettle...
Im not so sure about you! So far you seem to be performing for the show. I see bad things coming donw the line with you and Alexis, especially if you tag onto Vicky. I wish Bravo would move on from the Barbie wannabes and cast more realistic housewives from Orange County.
RH Fan, I agree with you 100%. Peggy, when the show stops airing, do you honestly think Vicki & Tamra still be around for you through thick & thin as a "GOOD FRIEND" should be? Also, did you think Alexis was competing with you BEFORE someone planted that seed into your head? Never burn your bridges....
The way that you spoke about your fellow housewives in this blog was actually kind........why do you not appear this way in the actual show itself?? I hope that you continue to be kind like this and do not push Alexis or Gretchen to the side in hopes of pleasing or impressing Vicki or Tamra. I hope that you can remain neutral and loyal to all of the housewives, as you are new and truly do not have room to judge any of the girls quite yet. It is odd how you've said twice now that when you were filming those scenes with Alexis, you didn't see it as a competition, yet when you were in interviews with the cameras, you always made comments that she was always one-upping you or trying to compete with you......that does not line up in any way, shape or form. Maybe you should choose one side and stick to one story. Either you think she tries competing with you or you don't......pick one and go with it, otherwise it is annoying to watch you contradict yourself when we all know that you are insecure and think that Alexis tries one-upping you, when obviously, she is just trying to make conversation with a friend who has kids around her children's ages. Wow.
Peggy, I read some where that you got a handle on your depression with supplements. Could you me tell exactly you were or are taking?
I am soo curious: what holistic supplements/ daily routines do you follow with your children so that they are rarely sick? I would love to know!
When I close my eyes, I can't tell who is talking-- you or Alexis-- you have the same voice, same type of verbage, same inflections.... Who is emulating who? It's hard to tell!!
Peggy,
I must say you are by far my favorite Housewife! I too am interested in an Holistic approach and I was wondering if you could recommend some things that may help me as I too have my ups/downs due to hormones.
I have been watching this show since it first started and look forward to every episode. I look forward to seeing more of you and your beautiful family!
Thanks.

Peggy, your a great new addition to the show, can't wait to get to know you more!
