Kiss Off

Tamra addresses Fernanda's comments about their kiss.

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you have a blessed day.

Vicki is really trying to make an effort with Alexis to put the bad feelings behind her. She admitted she has a sharp tongue, and she was sorry. I definetly think we are seeing a softer side of Vicki this year. When Alexis tells Vicki she is going to be a business woman by starting her very own dress line, Vicki got a big smile on her face and asked Alexis a few questions any business person would ask. It kind of went like this in a nut shell:

Are you a designer? No.

Do you sew? Never.

Did you go to school for it? No, but my business partner is a hairdresser.

Do you know what couture means? Um, not really?

Yikes, we shall see how this turns out.

I thought Slade's gift was very thoughtful. But I think Gretchen was right, rolling around the canvas naked would have been more fun. Just saying! The picture he had painted of Gretchen was really cute.

I think Micah had a different vision of the kind of food he wanted for their party. Peggy is so easy going the chef could have told her they were serving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and she would be okay with it as long as everyone had fun. When Eddie heard Micah say, "Mexican food is something you would serve at a pool party," I heard him say, "Oh really, I'm going to have to give that boy a call." I can't wait for next week so you can see how beautiful the dinner party looked and just how crazy it got.

I have known Marissa for quite a while. When I was in Spain she emailed me asking me to be in her charity fashion show with Peggy. I said yes, not knowing much about it. I was excited because Peggy was going to host it, and we get along so well that I knew it would be a ton of fun... or so I thought. I have done a few charity fashion shows but not at this level. I really expected it to be a small operation.

At the fitting Jeana walked in, which took me by surprise. I had been avoiding her for months, because she is so nosy and asks so many questions. There has been a running joke for years that you can use a telephone or a tell-a-Jeana. Everything you tell her ends up in the Orange County register and 50% of it is wrong! When she says in her interview that I left Simon and never gave him a chance to fix it, wrong again, Jeana. I asked for a trial separation, and he slapped me with divorce papers and never talked about saving our marriage. Just a perfect example of her talking out of her a--.

The fashion show was pretty stressful for me. Like I said, I am not a model and have no experience walking a runway in front of hundreds of people. Peggy has a modeling background and did a great job. You can tell she is in her comfort zone. It was great to see her getting back into it after having two babies.

The way Alexis treated her dress designer was so disrespectful. To hear her say, "See who's boss," and, "You're not having it your way," was so rude after she spent all that time working on it. I couldn't believe Alexis cut the sleeves off after she asked her not to. I agree the dress looked better without the sleeves, but she could have rolled up the sleves to show her how it would look without ruining the dress. Then to hear her say, "I am always right, I'm right about everything, next time listen to me"... Talking to anyone like that is degrading and border line abusive... Trust me I know.

I could not workout with Fernanda and Lynne, because they changed the time last minute and I have a very small window of opportunity. From 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM I am dropping off and picking up the kids from school. They are all on diffrent schedules, I have one in kindergarten that goes half day, one in 5th grade, and one in middle school. From 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM I feel like I am in my car the entire time. So unless it's between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM I can't make it! It was not because I had a problem with Fernanda like she said!

To listen to Fernanda talk to Lynne and her ex-girlfriend about a "silly moment" (as she put it herself) in front of the cameras and try to make it out to be something it wasn't really makes me mad. Why she felt the need to expose something so minor that happened over a year ago for no apparent reason blows my mind! Not to mention how uncomfortable she made Lynne feel. Lynne called me right after to tell me she felt totally set up and uncomfortable. To me it is very hurtful, especially since I brought her on the show. For the record, I did kiss her, I have a tendancy to kiss my friends when I'm drunk... I'm crazy like that! But, I dont make out with them! Although I did get a pretty good kiss from Andy Cohen on NYE! There is way more to come with this story... So keep watching!

Eddie and I will be at the Luxor in Las Vegas at T&T on May 5th. Come by and see us if you're in the area. To find out more details check on my Facebook @TamraBarney.

Shannon Settles the Score

If Andy's asking "What's the score, Shannon Beador?" Shannon thinks she's definitely won.

This is Blog #20, my last Blog for the season! The past year was been a wild ride for both me and for my family. I have come to many realizations about myself, made lifelong friends, experienced some tough moments, and embarked on a path to a more peaceful self. So to use Andy’s phrase, “What's the score, Shannon Beador?” I would say without a doubt that I have definitely won.

I am happy that the viewers got a little glimpse into my sometimes unconventional ways! For me, it's all about good energy. I love that Vicki’s business has clearly benefited from trying feng shui with Elaine Wright. If you can't get hurt, there is no reason to try anything holistic. If you actually benefit, why wouldn't anyone want to go the natural way? If my children tend to feel better after seeing Dr. Moon and not have to take antibiotics, then I am a happy mom. It's all about creating a healthy balance!

I am an open book and am often criticized for it, but I am who I am. I don't know many couples married for 13 years that have a perfect relationship. Everyone has ups and downs, and although it may be difficult and require effort, it is possible to move through it and make things better. I have said it many times in the season that divorce is not an option. I will always fight for my marriage and my family. It truly touches my heart that so many fans have been and continue to root for David and I. I am so appreciative and grateful for all of your positive comments! Thank you!

Do Tamra and Heather truly want to move forward and potentially develop a friendship with me? Only time will tell. But for now, I have amazing friends surrounding me, including Vicki Gunvalson and Lizzie Rovsek. And most importantly, I have been blessed with the most incredible family anyone could ask for. That is where all of my energy is focused.

I will never forget this entire year, both the good and the bad, because each moment took me on the journey to where I am today. And today, I am in a phenomenal and happy place. Thank you for taking this journey with me!
