An Education

Heather refuses to apologize for being educated, but enjoyed "glamping" all the same.

By Heather Dubrow

I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break! We had a lot of fun with the kids. Great family time in the pool and on the beach. Unfortunately, the only thing I brought home with me was the FLU! Ugh! I can't ever remember being this sick! So, I will be brief. . .

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

I would like to start by saying I am not going to apologize for being educated. I have never claimed to be an expert on anything. I'm a reasonably intelligent person. I read a lot. I enjoy talking to people because that is how you learn.

Anyway, I have to say I was sad after watching this episode. In my opinion, except for a couple of little hiccups -- the trip was really fun.

When I arrived at Vicki's house, Alexis and I spent some nice time together. I had brought these lanterns I had ordered for everyone. They were so cute with their names on them and all blinged out! We chatted for a while before we took off.

I drove with Vicki because I wanted to get to know Briana. This was the first time I had met her. It was so funny watching the mother/daughter dynamic between them. Laughing one minute and fighting the next -- then back to laughing. It made me miss my Mom.

The other thing is we laughed a lot on this trip -- from the fire, to the cooking, and even to the skunk!!! We also had A LOT of s'mores and wine! Alexis and I also had a chuckle over our matching head wraps the next day!

After we had breakfast Vicki and I took a hike. It was really nice to spend that time with her. Vicki shared a lot of details with me about her relationship with Brooks.

The other girls drove up and met us at the top where there was this great farm. We got to hang out and feed the alpacas. Really fun way to end the trip.

The next couple of episodes are pretty crazy. Hope you enjoyed this little break from the drama!
