Fight for This Love
Sarah doesn't want Gretchen and Slade to give up on their love.
May 23, 2012Never give up on someone you can't go a day without thinking about. . .
It was very hard for me to hear that two of my dearest friends, Gretchen and Slade, were going through a little bit of a rough patch in their relationship. I love them both dearly. To be honest, of all of the people in the world I would have never imagined those two ever having any kind of issues (other than maybe Slade leaving the toilet seat up or something funny like that). In my eyes, they are by far the best couple ever. They are always so fun, warm, happy, loving, and respectful towards each other. I know how much they love each other and I think with some patience, understanding, and compromise in time everything will work itself out for the best.
I know without a doubt if I ever need any guy advice they would be the first people that I would call. It really breaks my heart that they are going through this. I wish there was something I could say or do that could fix this or make it better. They truly are two of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. No matter how hectic their life may be between business, traveling, and juggling all of their work projects, I must say they have they have always been there for me with their doors, arms, and hearts wide open. And oh yes, I have had my share of some pretty good round table moments with them, that I will admit. No matter how sad or upset I am they always find a way to crack me up! It's hilarious. Gretchen is usually in the kitchen throwing some kind of yummy baked goods in the oven for us to snack on when we sit around the dinning room table listening to my drama. While Gretchen is playing Betty Crocker, Slade is playing Dr. Phil. They two of the best friends anyone could ever have. That's why it is so hard for me to fathom those two ever having an issues between each other.
Sarah....it is very wise of Gretchen to delay getting married to a man with so many legal issues as once they do marry...they will become her issues as well. It is very clear that Gretchen and Slade are very much in love but love does not conquer all! Not sure if you understood where this segment was going...but, it was not at all about whether the two of them loved each other...it was about Slade taking charge of his own life and his legal issues before Gretchen would take the next step. I'm exhausted reading about how you think they are "right" for one another....we get that....they love each other. Gretchen...you're a very intelligent girl....don't take the next step with Slade until he gets his mess cleaned up...or you WILL be the one footing the bills. Not sure why he is not working his tail off...or maybe he is and we don't see it....to clean up his personal mess. He seems a bit lazy to me...again we don't see everything. Sarah...I think you're missing the point again...trying to like you...but, I think you're a bit much.

I was actually looking forward in seeing more of you and Gretchen, I can just imagine how much fun you guys have. I wish we could get to know you more!
I'm sure that you are a very nice person but I seriously don't get why you keep posting blogs. It's just weird. The husbands/boyfriends are on the show more than you are and they don't post blogs.
I think she should leave slade he is just not good. He has a very negative energy about him and I think he will bring her down. She is smart not to marry him right now with all the money issues he has. Once they are married those problems become her problems. Backed child support she would have to pay they would look at her income and she would have to pay for kids that are not hers.
I really find it weird that people take the time, everytime you put up a blog, to complain about you blogging. Enough already. You are a friend of the housewives so you get to blog. Either people get used to it or they don't read your blog.
Anyway, I really like Gretchen and Slade as people and together. I'm happy for you that you have such a good relationship with them.
I hope we get to see more of you on the show and get to know you. You seem really nice.
I think it's a free country and anyone who wants to blog can. Like really how does Sarah blogging affect your lives?
It was upsetting to hear Gretchen get upset as Slade saying he gets caught up in helping her during the day with her business. We have watched him do just that the past two seasons. He has also worked to help promote her with opportunities she may not have had if he hadn't look into them. These things have made her money and at the end of the day Gretchen asks Slade how come you aren't making money? Hello- he is spending his time marketing and supporting you!
since he helped make you some of that money, you should have no problem sharing some of it with him.
side note: Gretchen is not being a good friend to Alexis when Alexis did nothing but support her also!
