First off, I really didn't understand what the whole "Big To Do" was all about. Just because Heather all of a sudden decided to finally change her last name after 15 years of what I would consider to be a "facade" of a marriage. . .Really??? I think it would have been more realistic if Terry had changed his last name to Kent to be honest. Now that would make more sense and a real reason to celebrate! Just saying.
I am a firm believer that the whole ceremony of marriage is very sacred and should be considered a blessing that two people joined together in celebration of their love, commitment, and partnership and should be celebrated as such at the time, NOT 15 years later when its "convenient."
I don't understand what gives Heather and Terry the right to judge someone solely on their outer appearance, or lack thereof, just because they might not meet the pathetic so called "high standards" that they seem to find important. It's not right. It's very hurtful, mean, and downright shallow to say the least. Hopefully someday they will come to the realization that all people deserve to be treated the same, regardless of if they don't live on billionaire row. They are people, too. I think a little humbleness will do them some good if you ask me. Welcome to the real world Dubrows. So now the both of you can put your little pinkies down, let go of your over fed egos, hop off your high horses, and learn to treat people like human beings with feelings.
I will admit in most cases eating a tiny piece of the bow off a cake before its served is wrong no matter what the occasion. I think that Heather could have handled it like an adult and approached me one-on-one if she had an issue with me. But, for some reason, she can't confront me on her own, and she felt she needed her mean girl group behind her to feel empowered and justified in her tantrum. Bullying is bulling. I call it like I see it.
It bothered me what they did it to Alexis in Costa Rica, and now they feel that it was OK to do it to me as well. I really appreciate Alexis trying to get the point across that what they are doing isn't right (especially at our age), but we would have more luck talking to the wall.
Any normal person wouldn't have thought twice about someone eating the bow off a cake. Come on, heather and her group of mean girls need to lighten up. That party could have used a food fight.
A cake is a big deal. Usually among the most expensive single items at an event, into which a lot of thought and effort has been poured. Great care is shown in the execution and delivery. To treat that in the same way you might if you had taken an piece of bread from a basket out of turn is shortsighted. I saw the episode twice. If you had sincerely apologized instead of saying what amounted to "get over it," things likely would have ended there.
Sarah..you're a sweet person...when you drink too much your decisions have consequences...please limit yourself and exercise control. It must be sad to see how your friends Gretchen and Slade threw you under the bus. Keep friends with Alexis and Vicky...they seem to be a lot less shallow. Love you on here and hope to see more of you on the show.
Sarah, who are you? Why are you here? Go away, you are classless.
Sarah!! You are awesome! LOL they made it seem like you ate the whole freaking bow. I laughed my ass off when I saw that it was just a small piece. Are they freaking serious getting all bent out of shape over it...OMG. You rock, I hope to see more of you next season!!
@KristieB so you think it ok funny and proper for an uninvited guest to stick her fingers in other people's food and or a very expensive cake that is more than a cake, it's the center piece of the venue, as most all cakes are. Maybe you have never been to a wedding or even a business event other than a BBQ that serves Doritos and a beer keg. Name one thing about Sarah that is "SO AWSOME" Then she proceeds to point her finger while slurring her words high as a kite, Calling the hostess and the other guests names.. Acting crazier than a crap house rat, I would have made her pay for the whole cake and kicked her not only to the curb but,so far down coast hwy she would never have lunch in Newport Beach again, let alone crash a very nice party that she completely ruined. You Kirstie have absolutely no class if you think that her behavior was even remotely OK..
Luv2rocku Not sure why this response was sent to me but it is soooo last season, this whole episode is old. But I think that the way Heather handled the whole situation by blabbing her mouth to all of her friends about what Sarah did is classless. Having everyone loud mouth and gang up on Sarah was classless and it ruined the whole party for everyone because no one should have witnessed that. If Heather was really "classy" she would have quietly gotten security to politely escort Sarah out, and then I would have explained to the girls what happened later. So two ghetto ass bitches does not equal class because they were both acting ghetto as hell. And Heather did look like a fool reacting the way that she did. She should have handled her fingers in the cake a little bit better than making a huge scene. Not everyone saw Sarah touch the cake, but everyone saw Heather acting a complete ass about it. I saw nothing classy about Heather's reaction.
Sarah...you had no business at the party...get a life and quit trying to be a housewife because it will never happen!
You were rude and are still being rude by acting the way you did and now posting in this blog about what someone should and should not do for a party. You were a guest(uninvited at that) in their home and should have the decency to keep you hands to yourself. If you didn't like the way they treated your "friend", then you shouldn't have been there in the first place. Which reminds me, why were you there? I guess I should actually take this up with Bravo, but you are not a RHOC and should not be such a part of it, especially the finale.
Eating the bow off the cake was totally inappropriate, but you are SPOT ON with everything you said in your blog. If you read what she wrote and actually pay attention to the show you would see she is right with everything she said. Also, this show was just another career move for Heather. She wants to get back into acting, so she pops up on the Housewives show to restart her career. She had to have a naming party so people would know her new name and the world was able to witness this. It was painfully obvious what her plan was this season.
Okay I actually haven't seen that episode yet but I think Sarah's assessments about the other girls are pretty spot on, as far as her behavior at the party like I said I haven't seen it, but hasn't all of the girls at some point been drunk and made mistakes, and done things that they regret,I find it hilarious that people are judging her when all of the girls have made fools of themselves, and compared to the other girls her mistake doesn't really seem like a huge deal to me, so she ate some of the cake before it was served, big deal, lighten up, these women are so full of themselves, can't they just deal with things in a mature way, instead of resorting to immature tactics, and name calling, Sarah obviously made a mistake , she knows that , and she is not trying to act like a victim, does that make her crazy or an alcoholic no that just makes her human, people seriously need to take the specs out of there eyes before they try to take the specs out of others.
I think it's hilarious that you decided to write a 3 page blog about how much you hate these women. Seems like you care JUST as much as they do. I think you ALL care about money way too much! Plus, if you know you are going into a situation with them, why would you drink so much and make it worse. You gave them ammo if you ask me.
And I'd like to add that I think Gretchen handled the evening the best. She stayed out of it, because it wasn't her battle. I like how honest she is being with everyone. You and everyone else should try it.
Ha...and if you are the "heir" to Whinchester...you think you would have better etiquette in social situations. Especially one at someone's home like that. If you don't like Heather's honesty...maybe you shouldn't attend parties uninvited.
One of the funniest moments ever to see how one by one they all came to confront you with Tamra as the ring leader. You brought life to what looked like the most boring night ever. People need to get over themselves and Andy needs to put you on fulltime!!!
Sarah!
I have to disagree with a lot of you blog...Every party I have been to, you do not eat a piece of cake before being served. It is like that for a 2 year old birthday party or a name changing party. Heather made a lot of class telling you to walk away and control yourself. She even gave you the oppuntunity to go relax and forget about it. I believe you wanted to start an argument even from the time Alexis said you could go to the party with her. You were out of line and then the blog you wrote made it even worse. This will be an experience you will never forget and don't worry, if you don't like Tamra, Heather, Gretchen or Vicki, then you don't have to come back next season. After all, you were not a REAL cast member and the two parties you went to (also sponsored by Heather) you were an uninvited guest.
Sarah, you are embarassing yourself. Get some help and stay off the air til your sober.
I think you just have a screw loose!!
The fact that you started your blog by stating.."I really didn't understand what the whole "Big To Do" was all about." describes who you are...in YOUR OWN WORDS! You are tactless and you need to learn some manners. Your whole section about your beliefs in marriage, yada yada don't justify your actions...I think you seem fake..your actions speak your values.
Honey...you should not drink :-)
Obviously I don't know what this girl is like in real life, but I agree with the other viewers that it would not be smart on Bravo's part to bring her back next season. She really added nothing to the show and the bow-eating incident was the only mildly entertaining aspect of her appearance. In regards to that party, it is clear that her speech and behavior are so irrational because she is drunk. If she would just admit that she had too much to drink which contributed to her poor choices, she would sound a lot more credible.
I'm not a fan of Tamera's. Especially after the end of the season party. But in her defense she stated she wasn't wearing her engagement ring to Heathers party because it was Heathers night and she didnt want to take any attention away from Heather. Besides her diamond wasn't much to talk about anyway.
You critizize Vicky for wearing a fur coat. What about Alexis? She was wearing fur that night. Was it fake? Could have fooled me.
BTW, what you did to that cake was very rude! Your excuse when confronted about the cake was lame. You should have been on your best behavior considering you were an uninvited guest. You got what you deserved when kicked out of the party.
You've made a terrible impression on the viewers, this is a nationally televised TV show , if I were you I'd be hiding under a rock. Every episode you were in you were highly intoxicated and made a fool of yourself. I don't even know why BRAVO has given you permission to blog.
I'd stand behind any of the housewives on the show before I'd stand behind you.
valleybutterfly AMEN!!!
The only thing worse than your behavior at the party is your ridiculous attempt to justify it in this blog.
Where did you come from? And when are you going?
Sarah, I do think the Cake gate got out of hand, but I would have taken your apology more seriously if you had not been drinking so much! I agree that Tamara does cause alot of drama. I think you should have left the party! Apologized and left! It is never smart to touch a cake until after the cake has been cut by the host or hostess.
I think you mean to be sweet but come off as a party girl.
Good Luck
i'm married but i do not use my husband's name. just because i got married doesn't mean i should have to change my professional identity. any established woman with a well known reputation to her name might consider the same. heather had a career based on her name, and many celebs do keep their own names. heather decided to make a big change and that's not something she took lightly. i commend her on that and wanting to throw a party, mostly for her husband's sake. and how long have YOU been in your current relationship sarah who? exactly. check yourself. too bad heather didn't have a coat and attitude "check in" at her party!
How can you call someone out for a fur when you are wearing one too?? I suppose it could be faux fur. I'm guessing the leather jacket and leather boots you wore on other episodes were faux, or maybe you love some animals and not others. What about your friend Alexis? Was she not wearing a fur? Is it o.k. for you and your friends? It sounds like you just need to something to rant about. There were so many things wrong with your behavior in this episode and in your blog, but I think this is what bothered me the most. You will never be able to control anyone else's actions, but you can control your own. Take accountability!!
LOL Sarah! You must be stopped - hearing and reading your side of the story makes me laugh!
Is it just me? Or are drunk and skinny the worst combination ever? ;-)
Okay, this was a funny blog!!
Clearly, you have a sense of humor and just because you ate a teeny, tiny bit of sugar bow (funny how small it was in the close up!!) doesn't mean you should be exiled to Sibera...let alone attacked by the mean girls pack. What a bunch of wolves...
I agree with most of your assessments on the women, they sure do know how to throw stones but are so lacking in self awareness to realize their own faults. They spend so much time criticizing everyone else, they seem unaware of how ridiculous they look and act!
Heather and Tamra are still exclaiming you were "uninvited". That tells me what liars they are, we all know everyone is invited to the "end of the season party", including Jeana, Kara, Brianna, Ryan, etc. It was stated Jeana was invited by Gretchen, yet she already said she was invited by Bravo long before this aired. (like everyone that was there!)
In Heather's blog, she claims your were uninvited to "her" (Bravo's) party, what a load of crap! How would a "friend of the housewives" get out of filming the finale???? I call BS!
You've been pretty nice in your blogs and really let loose in this one, I hope you continue to let it rip! All the other's make excuses for their bad behavior and are patted on the back, it's comical you are attacked.
I don't like Tamara...I think she's mean. I wanted to be on yours and Alexis's side but you went too far (with the cake, and continue on the same line with them again and again and won't drop it, and you are way too smashed to make much of a point). You have a valid case...but you did not do well in making it. next time...stay sober, it will work out much better for you.
Sarah,
Why do you feel the need to associate with these women? Stay as far away from them as possible. Lighten up on the alcohol!
Sarah! you are hysterical. They would be CRAZY not to make you a Real housewife! The show needs you!!! Team Sarah!
You should not have eaten the ribbon on the cake (not your property) or stepped over the rope thing on the way to the bathroom (it was there for a reason and you should have respected that). Other than your odd behavior, you are actually much more attractive than the other housewives by a long shot.
I have to say, I have never written on one of these blogs before, but felt compelled because of you Sarah W. I don't know if you read these blogs, but I see the pain in your face when people react to your behavior. One can't expect people to feel the way you think they should feel in response to your behavior- just because you minimize your behavior and actions or have excuses for your actions. It is also clear from the look in your eyes, as early as the car ride with Alexis, that you were a bit inebriated. (Alexis even told you in the bathroom that your eyes started to look "drunk".) I counted at least 3 different drinks in your hand, and you are so tiny. It is also clear that those that are friends with you even commented on your behavior, (Alexis and Gretchen both said they didn't recognize your behavior as characteristic of you.) If you are drinking more than two drinks a day, and are getting into the kind of altercations you are getting into frequently, you may consider that you may have a drinking problem. I hope you think about this because you have everything going for you, and seem really cool when you don't drink. It makes for great tv, but it is sad to see you escalate situations and lose it. Your last blog is just full of pain, defensiveness, and blame- and you are better than that.
Sarah,
You were not invited to the party! You should have left instead of continuing to rant and rave. You were rude to eat the ribbon off the cake.
Sarah, you deliberately provoked a situation because of what you thought was the bullying of Alexis. You went to that party to start a fight, and the alcohol made it far worse. Heather only made a bigger deal out of it because your apology was one of those "I'm sorry if you're offended" type of things. You went to someone's house..UNINVITED...and insult the hosts. Is this really how you want to present yourself? Did YOU even watch a recap of this scene. Most normal people would be humiliated.
"Is this the world we live in?" WOW!!!! lol...lol...lol.......Sarah I'm sure you want to recant your blog if you have watched the last episode....lol...lol...lol... Your "good" friend Alexis was also wearing a fur coat....and talked bout you once you were "bounced" from the party. I'm sure you are mortified by your actions, you are actually a laughing stock. Stop getting "wasted" on camera......
Sarah, the times that I have seen you on the show you have tried to confront or mention something crucial that happen. Alexis shared what happened with you in Costa Rica but you did not have to help fight the battle. You got to Heather's home with a mind set of starting something. Alexis had to pull you into the ladies room and ask you to water down your drink because you looked drunk, then in a sign of disrespect you touched the cake breaking off the bow (which you left that part out of your blog) thinking that no one will notice, of course Heather was going to get mad which led to her asking you to leave her home. You talk about friends but you caused an embarassing situation for Alexis and Gretchen with your odd behaviour.
Why are you even on this show? First of all, you were NOT invited to the party and secondly, Alexis erred in not calling Heather to inform her Jim was not attending and could she bring a guest. Your behavior was despicable.
The reasons people have to throw a party can be anything. So Heather wanted to throw a party in honor of her taking her husband's last name? So what? Although you went to the party with Alexis, you weren't specifically invited. Which means you should have been on your best behavior. Instead you set out to cause trouble by disturbing the cake. You're not a child and you're not in high school. I'm sure you know what is acceptable behavior. Your "I don't understand why" routine is not cute at all. I would have bounced you out on your tuchas so fast. Why would you "defiantly" recommend Vicki spend a day with PETA?
it was a little tasteless for you to do that, but you made a mistake and Heather made too huge a deal of it. It funny that you said Terry should have changed his last name. Yes, she needed the group to back her up. She always does. Terry couldn't even have a one on one conversation with Jim w/o his wife trying to protect him. lol
itsme123
I believe Sara was the one who made a big deal out of it. Heather had moved on and she just wouldn't let it go.
Dear Bravo,
This girl has to go. PLEASE don't have her back next season. Ugh.
NYer.at.heart Oh, come on now! Every party needs at least one.
Sarah: Why are you on the show at all? Your behavior was completely unacceptable. Are you twelve and can't wait for someone to cut the cake?? The sugar story was so outrageous; it was your way of coming up with an appropriate excuse for what you did. Take yourself out of the loop please. The viewers are not interested in you.
Alexis did not have your back. You were kicked out of the party and what did your good friend Alexis do? She went back to the party. LOL!!!!!
Not all women change their name when they get married. If Heather chose to have a party because she changed her name, that's her business. Heather said you were not invited so you crashed a party that you think was pointless? I don't know who is more clueless; yoor Alexis.
Sarah..really sorry to see 6+ months later you still dont see the issue. AS oxsure points out, you were also wearing fur..perhaps it was simulated..but you were still wearing the type of clothing, if you're going to tout PETA, why bother wearing it at all. If i know i wasnt the person invited to the party i never would have made a stink (let alone take part of an incremental part of the evening). Any gracious party guest who was having 'sugar issues' (with all you were drinking..i doubt it!), would have said something to the host or one of the staff serving the party.
Where did you come from? I mean seriously.... You should not even be on the show. You dont compare to these girls... That would be like me trying to fit in... It just couldnt happen! They are high class and do have what they brag about or can get it. Dont be so jelous of what you dont have just stay away from the ones who have it. Mixing classes dont work and your far from their class! "stupid is, as stupid does!"
WOW, Sarah, really? What a made up story about having low blood sugar, shouldn't you have went for some orange juice? You would have reacted the same way if Heather confronted you on your own. You would have concocted some big story about what she said to you if she had just told you face to face without anyone else. That would have played out like the bowling alley.

I seen the previews.I guess you are not back this season.Think this will be a good season for Alexis.I hope all the ladies have some fun this season.
